Almighty Father System-Chapter 342: Finding Baba A Job?

Lily looked at her classmates who were thinking about how to help Leo, and she was at a loss. However, thinking about it she found it really funny to act like this. Then she stood up and said, "How about you all come to my house this evening with your parents tonight? It is my Ma's birthday. Although my Baba has lost his job, we will still be celebrating her birthday. Also, we can use this gathering as a chance to test some of his skills, and then you can ask your parents. Till then you should not say anything to your parents."

The children looked at each other and they nodded in understanding, after all, what did they know about giving out jobs. They should first learn how skilled the person was. So, it was decided that in the evening, they would be attending the birthday celebration for Aunty Snow, and help Mister Cardinal find a new job.

It wasn't that the children were simpletons, but they remembered how Lily bought them all those gifts from various trips that she had taken. While this was the situation inside the classroom, outside, Zeenat sensed a twitch develop on her mouth. She wanted to laugh but again the injury in her brain came forward. She could only take out her phone and text the situation to Snow.

Leo had Clara smuggle the grocery inside the house from the back door while he went inside the house. Snow was talking to Symphony and the discussion was very animated. The girl had integrated with them and now thought of herself as the a family member and none of the elders had problem with it. She made the house brighter only.

Snow was smiling listening to something when she caught sight of Leo and beckoned him closer. Leo walked over and sat down on the couch and Symphony finished her thing. Leo looked at Snow and said, "Lily just told her friend that I am unemployed and the face she made was ask if we are bankrupt and surviving on the road. Can you imagine?"

Snow was surprised and then she started laughing looking at his face. Leo felt really bad that something like this happened. And the one who did it was none other than his daughter who loved drama. He wanted to bang his head on the wall and hide from the world. What if some elders heard it? Would that not be a shameful accolade in his life.

However, he was happy to see, Snow laughing after such a long time. Then he looked at the clock and asked, "Did you finish your yoga?"

Snow shook her head and Leo shook his head as he gently held her hand and led her to the gym on the ground floor, where Anastasia was doing her exercises and he said, "Ma, this one was sneaking away."

Anastasia chuckled and Snow rolled her eyes at him before she said, "Ma, this one is jobless, our daughter is troubled by that."

Leo shook his head and headed outside without saying much because he could hear the giggles erupt in the back.

He headed to the kitchen, first he quickly brushed up the breakfast, and then he got on the task to make a cake. At this moment, he suddenly heard Snow laughing really hard. Her voice was echoing through the house. Leo raised his brow and then he curiously went to check on her.

He found that the lady was heading for shower and he asked, "Love, are you okay? What is going on?"

Snow couldn't hold it in and started laughing again, before she gasped for breath and said, "See this."

She raised her phone and gave it to Leo, who looked at it and was shocked to see the situation. Zeenat had reported what was going on in the class, and Leo turned around to leave the room and headed to the gate.

He looked at the Axel who was responsible for patrolling the front yard and said, "Axel, I want you to take one of your guys, and go hunt the city. I want the most expensive sports car that exists in the city ready to drive by the noon. Here take this card, and if the money is less call me and I will send you more. Go, now!"

His serious tone caused Axel to be surprised but he nodded and quickly grabbed his partner and left the mansion. They had no idea what was goingon in the mind of their boss, but they had to do it either way, after all, the world of the rich was too complicated for them. The best way was to just obey and stand aside.

In the noon, after lunch, Leo and Kyle left to pick up Lily, the young man wanted to make sure that the people realize that he hasn't lost his 'job'. His car was a white speedster, and it had domineering lines and edges, the vehicle literally purred as the pedal was pressed and the people could only make way for it.

Many on the road were too scared to get close to it, if they ended up scratching the paint then the compensation would be too heavy for them to afford.

Leo parked the car outside the school, and got down in a dashing fashion but he was still wearing his casual clothes. Many of the parents saw the car and one of them, who was slightly familiar with Leo walked up and said, "Mister Cardinal, just when I have managed to save enough money you took this car. I waited for six months."

Leo chuckled and said, "Mister Duncan, lately many people have been wondering about my financial status so I had to make a bold gesture to calm down the rumors. You are also from the world of business so you might know it as well, if we stay silent for a bit too long the people in the shadows all start to make moves."

Mister Duncan was also a young father like himself. He nodded and replied, "I totally understand with your words. These days, some people really have nothing to do and thrive by creating trouble. Just yesterday, there was a fire breakout at a small factory in the Blossom County, I heard that the company was involved in developing smart robots."

Leo raised his brow, he didn't know the context here, but since this guy mentioned it, he asked, "What do you mean? Do you suspect it was done by a rival company?"

Duncan nodded and looking around he whispered, "The word is that the Tyrant group is pulling strings behind all this. They have been researching advanced robots and artificial intelligence technology. They are trying to acquire small start ups that have been trying to dwell in this field but the once who don't agree they face something or the other.

This small company called Little Foot was doing very good and they were close to reaching the goal when this happened. Now their main servers are gone and even the production line had been destroyed. Thankfully, the general manager was smart and reserved the patent for the tech they made under his name and the lead researchers."

Leo nodded and said, "Indeed, it is a good thing to protect the key interest. However, such a lose and situation would effect the workforce they had and the capital chain as well."

Duncan nodded, and looking at this man Leo thought of something before he said, "Mister Duncan, how about you and your family visit my house in the evening? I am celebrating my wife's birthday, we would be happy to host you."

Duncan was surprised but then he nodded and said, "It would be my pleasure."

The two of them shook hands and exchanged the contact information. Just then the children came out of the classrooms led by their respected teachers. Leo walked up to stand at the forefront and he received Lily, he turned around and said, "Everyone, I apologize that I am doing this so casually, but it would be an honor for me to host you all at Cardinal Mansion tonight as we celebrate my wife's twenty fifth birthday. I am aware that you all have busy lives, but please try to come over and grace us with your presence and well wishes."

Lily looked at her father and then smiled before extending her own invitation to the people. The people were almost willing to visit them right away but they understood that such things needed to be done with proper manners, and they departed to prepare.

Leo sighed as he placed his daughter inside the car and said, "Little one, did you find Baba a job?" 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

His question caused Lily to freeze, she didn't expect the news to leak out so quickly, and she sheepishly smiled and said, "Hehehe, Baba, I was only joking with those kids."

Leo looked at her and said, "I really don't know what to do with you, Little Goblin. Let's go, we will be busy now."
