Almighty Father System-Chapter 341: Daddy Is Jobless.

Leo and Family reached back home. Snow as now entering the eighth week of pregnancy, her body was reacting to it in all the ways it could find. However, Leo was staying beside her, his job at the racing team was done, and it was now the time to take care of family.

He held her hand before carefully guiding her back inside the house. The cold weather has subsided and the autumn wind carried a little pleasant chill with it. The lady wanted to say something to him, but she didn't, because she knew that it hasn't been easy on him either. His body, despite being strong had to face intense changes in the racing days.

Lily held the shield of the champion above her head as she entered the living room and said, "Lo and Behold, the champion of the world, Leo Cardinal has returned."

Fragrance and Anastasia look at the little girl and found her to be more amusing than the title. Leo helped Snow sit down on the couch and dashed to the bathroom. When he returned he was carrying a pail of warm water with himself.

He placed it on the floor and then asked Snow to dip her feet in the water to relax. Leo didn't sit beside her, but knelt on the ground and massaged her legs as they had swollen from the flight. The young man was not very patient in his actions, Snow leaned back in the chair, and the rest of the people watched them.

Lily looked at the two then turned to face her Grandmother and Fragrance, before she said, "Aunt, I was thinking if you could help me with the painting?"

Fragrance nodded and then the two of them went inside, Anastasia followed them and inside her room Lily sighed and said, "Baba and Ma are in a world of their own. Ma is having morning sickness, so Baba has been rather careful with her diet and she is also very moody, sometimes gets irritated."

Anastasia smiled and said, "That is only normal love, you don't have to worry much."

Lily nodded and replied, "I am aware but this is getting me to worry a little. Would they be fine? After the first race, Ma had slapped Baba, and although they are both caring for each other, the communication seems rather stringent to me."

Fragrance picked her up in her arms and said, "You don't have to think so much. I will talk to them and find out what is going on."

Lily nodded and then embraced Fragrance. She didn't say that she was upset because of it, but that was what she meant. Her parents were the best people in her vision and she was afraid that they might not love each other anymore. She had no idea why this was happening but she was still a child. Her brain might have been more developed and in distressed situations, she might have taken steps that even adults might have failed to, but right now, the situation was not that bad.

Anastasia came out of the room after hearing what Lily was thinking and she was shocked, she wanted to scold the other two, but when she saw them looking at each other silently without words, she knew it was not her place to do so. They were adults and they had their own methods to handle such things.

Leo picked up his phone after massaging Snow's leg for some time, and called Percie. The call was answered quickly and the lady asked, "Sir, how can I help you?"

Leo replied, "Well, I have decided to stay home from now. I will be busy taking care of my daughter and my wife. You can handle the company. I will provide you guys with the ideas and the path of growth when the time is ripe, but till then I will be staying home. Can you handle everything?"

Percie was shocked and then she said, "Well, I will need you to sign the documents every now and then."

Leo nodded and said, "I understand, you can send June over to hand me all the documents and also, keep her in the loop about the things that you want to report. She can submit a daily report to me and that would be all."

Percie agreed and assured him that things will be fine. Leo disconnected the call, and Snow asked calmly, "Why the sacrifice?"

Leo shook his head and replied, "It is not a sacrifice, it is just a necessity, when you were pregnant with Lily, I was laying half dead on a bed. Now that you are going through it for the second time, I obviously have to stand up and look after you. Even in the past, had everything been alright, my Dad would have gone to the company with me looking after you? I slapped you so hard that time, how can you not say anything to me about that?"

Her voice was filled with irritation and she was very upset because Leo just took her slap across his face without as much as a complaint. The young man smiled and replied, "You are thinking too much. I didn't have any grievances in my heart about the fact that you slapped me. I understand you were upset because you were worried about me. However, it was also my responsibility to answer to the expectations of the team that was hoping that I win the race."

The young lady took a deep breath and said, "Leo, how can you have such a big heart?"

Leo smiled and replied, "Because my heart belongs to you. I have to make sure that it is big enough to match your grandeur."

Snow sighed and leaned back in the chair, before she teased, "If you darling daughter heard it, she would pout hard."

Leo chuckled and said, "You are saying as if she doesn't love you."

Snow chuckled and replied, "Indeed, do you remember what happened when Theo tried to eat from her plate. I swear, Theo almost cried at how fast his friend turned hostile."

Leo chuckled and then he placed his arm around her shoulder and Snow leaned on his shoulder. The mood between the two of them had calmed down and the knots have untangled. At this moment, Leo looked towards the stairs leading upstairs and said, "Lily, why are you peeking? Are you playing hide and seek?"

Lily came down the stairs and jumped on him, her worries had been resolved and Leo heard a voice in his mind, 'Ping: You have resolved the worries of your daughter by solving the tension between you and your wife. Reward: Title, hands-off president. Equipping this title will ensure that your companies run fine with a standard profit growth every quarter.'

Leo smiled and replied, "You guys talk, I am going to cook."

Leo synced in with his role of the stay at home husband. He cooked, tended to the garden, played cards with the guards, and practiced his martial arts with them. One week passed in just a blink, and today Leo brought Lily to the school, and just as he was handing her over to Miss Verse, before he said, "Lily, I will come a little early to pick you up. It is your grandma's birthday."

Lily nodded and replied, "I know Baba, but you just make sure to prepare a nice cake."

The young man agreed with a smile and waved off before heading back to his car. Just then he heard a young lady approaching Lily and said, "Lily, why is your Baba dressed in casuals today? He doesn't have office today?"

Lily sighed and said, "Marian, what can I even tell you. My plight is endless. You know my Baba is jobless."

Leo almost tripped and fell on his face. He turned to look behind and saw his daughter acting as if he had not only stopped going to office, but they have turned into paupers. He got inside the car and then went inside his car, before he headed home.

He made a stop at the supermarket and bought all the things that he needed to bake a cake. After a few minutes, he headed home.

In the school, Miss Verse had gone out to handle something when Marian took the podium and said, "Everyone, listen to me."

The class was orderly and they all were wise children. They turned to look at Marian, and the little girl said, "Friends, we all know that Lily has always treated us with great love and joy."

The children of high families were all like this, they spoke sophisticatedly. Marian continued, "Just now, I learned that Lily's Baba, Mister Cardinal has lost his job and these days he is very depressed. So, I want to ask you all to contribute in this effort to cheer up Mister Cardinal."

Someone said, "I think we can ask our parents to find him a new job. What do you think?"

Leo had no idea his daughter has created a huge debacle for him.
