Almighty Father System-Chapter 331: Nursery.

After a few minutes, the family had dinner, and Lily went to sleep with Leo. The young man smiled and as the little girl put her leg over his stomach, he asked, "Love, what are you doing?"

Lily replied, "I am making sure that you don't rush away anymore."

Leo smiled as he patted her hand gently, "You grounded me to stay home for the next month, didn't you? How can I go out?"

Lily nodded and said, "I know, but you are very naughty."

Leo chuckled, he scratched the tip of her nose and then the two of them exchanged the things they did over the past week. Lily asked him if the mountains were really that cold, but before Leo could tell her anything, she had fallen asleep.

The young man also closed his eyes to sleep.

In the morning, Leo woke up early, he stood up, stretched his body and found that he was indeed feeling weaker, although it wasn't much different from an average human, but he still couldn't help but lament about things. All these days, lviing with high stats made him forget the trouble that the normal people had to go through to make a physique that could stand at the peak of their potential.

He decided that he will continue with his routine, and even if his body stats have declined, he will tread ahead to improve. His house had a gym but he rarely used it as he liked to go for runs outside. He found that Lily was sleeping, and then he went out for a run. He didn't leave the mansion but ran around the building in circles.

The guards were confused but when faced with their gazes, Leo openly accepted that he was grounded so he would be staying inside the house only. He shortened his running distance and then he spent most of his time inside the gym before he cleaned himself up and then dressed up Lily.

He even went to the kitchen and prepared breakfast for her and the rest of the people. He made sure to avoid the oily and strong smelling food, so that it does not trigger Snow's morning sickness. The action was praised by Claire she didn't expect that Leo would be this observant.

Well, in her mind, Leo was the rich businessman who had defeated the Primal Family in trade and also took on Luger family along with many others in the market, but she had never really seen him paying this much attention to the family.

Leo then sent Lily to school with Anastasia. The little girl was surprised to see that Leo was not going himself, but then the young man said, "It is my punishment for being naughty."

Lily chuckled and then after kissing both her parents she left quickly. Leo came back to sit inside the living room, he wanted to rest a little, and just then Snow turned on the TV, and on the newsflash, they heard about the situation in the Elsa Mountains.

When she heard the report she was shocked, and then she looked at Leo as she asked, "What exactly happened?"

Leo sighed and replied, "She called for five different squads, we found out too late. They timed their arrival when we thought everything was a success. They were hostiles and didn't have any intention of holding back so I had to retaliate. I didn't want to put the rest of the team in harms way because of my oversight."

Snow held his hand and asked, "You handled them all by yourself?"

Leo nodded with a faint smile on his face, but Snow knew that the weakness he displayed must be from mental strain caused by the incident. She frowned and then said, "It is good that you would be staying home. Just don't worry about anything else."

Leo nodded with a smile and held her soft palms in his hands before he said, "Since we have no idea if it is going to be a son or a daughter, how about we paint the nursery white and gold?"

Snow thought about it and nodded, she said, "White represents peace, and gold represents prosperity."

Leo nodded and said, "I will send someone to get the supplies. Have you selected the room for it?"

Snow nodded and replied, "We still have one room adjacent to us empty. We can set up things there."

Leo nodded calmly before he thought for a bit and said, "Then what about installing a wooden cupboard in the room to store the supplies?"

Snow nodded and then replied, "Good, how about a small wall piano? I hope that our younger child also has some skill for music. Lily is already so bright because of her musical talent, so if the second child also learns some, it would help them connect with each other better."

Leo nodded and agreed, but then he said, "I think we should not rush about this. Children should have some freedom, if you want the second child to learn music we can just bring him or her here to listen while Lily or I play."

They had a huge piano sitting in the living room, why buy another one for the room upstairs. Then they went onto discuss the topic at great lengths before they came to a conclusion and then made a list.

Leo called for Claire and asked if she could buy all these things, the lady nodded and assured them that she will buy from the best shop and only the product that was suitable for the child. Then she went out with Axel.

Leo gave Snow some foot massage as they waited for Claire to return and Leo asked, "Their was a kid who troubled Lily at school a few days ago, I hope that he doesn't do the same today."

Snow smiled and replied, "Don't worry, didn't you check the group?"

Leo shook his head, he didn't know what was going on in Lily's school group. Snow said, "The new kid happened to be a distant relative of the Luger family, so, the teachers just informed the people that the child has withdrawn from the school, and the parents stated that they would be going back to the swastika nation."

Leo nodded, and then they discussed if they should take out a piece from the pie left behind by Matilda Luger. However, Snow told him that Percie and Cherry had already diverted their actions toward this goal. She had given them the command last nght and things will move slowly.

Leo sighed as he leaned back in the sofa and said, "What would I do without you?"

Snow smiled as she nudged him with her foot and said, "How would I know, but for now, you will be massaging my feet daily."

Leo nodded with a faint smile and after a couple of hours, Claire came back and Leo helped her and Axel move the stuff into the store room. He than picked up a scraping tool and went inside the empty room. Snow wanted to come and watch but Leo told her off as the fine dust would be inhaled by her, and it was not a good thing.

He scrapped the wall, and took off all the uneven layers of paint and smoothened the edges of these areas. This room had been empty for a long time and it wasn't looked after. Even when he had bought the place back this room was put aside to be used as the store room, but later on Snow told him to not use this room for now.

Leo cleaned things up, then he mixed a portion of wall plaster to create a smooth and even surface for painting. Then he went downstairs, washed himself and prepared lunch for the people. Claire was helpless, Leo told her that she was on vacation.

Leo fed Snow, and then went back to work, Anastasia was supposed to pick up Lily from the school and so he was not worried about anything. The young man painted the first coat of white paint on the walls and then he called Snow for inspection. She looked at the pristine white room and nodded in affirmation.

Leo was happy, he wanted to do more but Leo shook her head, she said, "You are not yet properly fit to do this heavy work, take rest as well."

Leo shook his head and said, "I am fine, I just need to do two more coats and it would be fine. Then I will rest and continue tomorrow."

Snow nodded, she knew that he was a protective father and once he made up his mind, it would be silly to engage in a tug of war with him.

Leo spent one hour to do all the other coats and just when he was about to pick up the small brush to paint with the golden paint, Lily appeared at the gates of the room, and she looked at him curiously, before she asked, "Baba, who splashed you with paint?" 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

Leo was surprised and realized that some drops of paint fell on him and Lily was calling him clumsy and then he began to chase Lily around the house, the little goblin was getting increasingly naughty.
