Chapter 431: Grand Sage Moving Day freeωebnovēl.c૦m
While Elaina and the others are busy with the preparation of the big fish, the Grand Sage is currently preparing for his move. Since Elaina doesn’t mind him moving on a small part of her land and even the former heroes have given the approval, he quickly left and gather materials to create his home which is a tower to make use of small space while having the interior of the tower a big one.
And to do that, the Grand Sage began collecting materials the moment he left the farm and he finished just now after collecting the final item he needed for the construction. The last material he needed is the special obsidian that can be obtained from a volcano that has an untouchable lake on its mouth as it remains fine even when the volcano explodes. Due to this, the obsidian that forms on this place has special properties. There was a complicated explanation on what makes this obsidian special compared to regular obsidian. And the lake itself is the key on obtaining the obsidian itself. It only holds the natural formation of the obsidian that he needed.
"Collecting materials for my abode...hahaha, I never thought there would be a day that it will happen for me that I will settle down on one place and never travel again," The Grand Sage chuckled by himself after stashing the last material he needed to his pocket dimension.
Of course, what he said is actually something that would shock the people who knows him. Everyone who knows who the Grand Sage is always know that he doesn’t stay on one place for long term. The most days he stayed on a place is a week so for him to actuallt build a place to stay and live? That is something that should not be possible. And yet, the Grand Sage himself is the one doing it.
But thanks to this, he is more accessible than ever. One will have easier time finding him without the need of tracking him down.
"Alright, now that everything is all good to go, time to head back and create the whole thing. I can finally retire and stay in place for once."
With a snap of his fingers, he disappeared from the lake of the volcano, teleporting to the next location which is Elaina’s farm.

When he arrived again to the farm, he saw everyone currently busy and a big bone of a fish currently being cleaned from its flesh. The Grand Sage had to rub his eyes a few times to see if he was seeing wrong. After all, even tunas aren’t that big and whales aren’t that small either. It was big for a regular fish. Seeing this peculiarity, he approached the working girls and boys and saw Elaina doing the lead on removing the fish’s flesh with quick and clean precision. She was quite an expert in doing it that one can even mistake her for being a master who has been doing this work for all her life when in truth, Elaina’s first opportunity of cleaning the fish and removing the flesh is just now.
"What kind of fish is this for this to be this big?" the Grand Sage asked as he adjusted his glasses for a better look on the fish being dismantled.
"Oh, Master! You are back! How did the gathering of materials go?" Julia asked when she saw the Grand Sage checking out on their work.
"Just finished taking all of the necessary items. I will start building right away but got sidetracked when I saw you people doing something. This is the first time I am seeing a fish like this my whole life."
Elaina smiled and answered the old man. "Because this is actually the first time a fish like this has ever been captured, Grand Sage. It’s called Bloodsoaked Giant Carp as its official name but the others are more fond on calling it the Crimson Fish. I caught it on the stream not too long ago and we are dismantling it for cooking it later. Do you want to have a meal with us later, Mr. Grand Sage?"
The Grand Sage chuckles. "I would not decline an offer of food. Of course I will be going. Just hit me up if you lot will start eating as I will be busy building my retirement home."
"If that is the case, I will send Julia later to you to fetch you later. Also, don’t hesitate to ask for help if you needed any help in building the place. Just because we are the homeowner doesn’t mean I don’t help the people living in my farm gets settled in."
"Ohohoho, don’t worry, don’t worry. My home is something that only I can make and I have to put special adjustments here and there so that it doesn’t disrupt the mana flowing around while making sure it remained to have the same functionality than I intended. But I appreciate the gesture. Now, may I begin the construction? I might take some time before I can fully finish the furnishing process."
Elaina nodded in response. "You can do it anytime. Just don’t hesitate to call for help if you need any, we will just be nearby."
The Grand Sage smiled before moving towards the location that Elaina designated him to build his tower. The space he was given is quite large and Elaina made sure that he has plenty of space to build his place without compromising on her own planned farm space and his supposed to be area of his home-to-be.
"The size of the land lent to me is quite spacious even though I only needed a small space but since I have all this space, might as well take advantage to it."
Opening his pocket dimension, he swirl his fingers and controlled the materials inside his pocket dimension where those things started to pour out and began to float in the air. Controlling it again, the materials began to pile and strengthen itself, making its foundation stable as if it has been attached with rebar and skeletal frame to keep it steady.
The Grand Sage continues his control of the materials as the tower continues to pile and gets higher and higher while also ensuring that they remain stable and hard to topple. After making every floor, the Grand Sage cast a small spell before proceeding to the next floor and continues on doing so for at least 5 times. It didn’t take too long before the Grand Sage is done building the whole thing. A tower big and tall enough for everyone in Darcero Kingdom to see and strong enough to continue standing even if it is hit by strongest attacks, storms and whirlwinds.
"Project complete. It’s time to move in."
