"Alright Miss, Elaina, can you see the blue threads that are "holding" the gemstones?"

"The floating gems are what was representing the number of people that are currently powering up whatever they are using to make it rain. As for the blue threads, they are the mana flowing through from these people to the reason of the rain. Cutting these threads will allow us to sever their connection to the gadget they are using whether it was an artifact or not and stopping them from doing this. However, once we cut these threads, they will try to reconnect their connection once it was severed so to stop that from happening, we will have to destroy the gems to pieces the moment their "connections" were cut off. That way, the moment they try to reconnect, their mana circuits will fry and they will no longer be able to use any sort of magic and even utilize their mana."

Elaina then pointed to the emerald that seemed to be producing the blue threads to keep the gemstones from floating away, "What about this? Why is it like the blue threads are coming from the emerald?"

"That is the representation of whatever they tried to use, maybe it was an artifact of some sort, but maybe that was it. An artifact. Once all connections are destroyed, we will break this emerald as well to break the source of their power and stop this once and for all. And as for the reason we will destroy it while there are no more blue threads is to ensure that this thing will not explode on us. Now, get ready Miss Elaina, it is time for us to punish the perpetrators."

The Witch handed her a knife and for the first time in her life, Elaina is so happy to ruin someone’s life for once.
