365 Days To Love-Chapter 97 - NINETY-SEVEN:Her Worst Nightmare.

Arianna noticed the changes in Mia’s behaviour as they were going home,the doctor had recommended she stay today for further observations in the hospital but she declined saying they needed to go home.

She understood her concern about her,which she knew that staying at the hospital may attract the press to her,but the way Mia was constantly picking calls and sometimes ignoring her made her suspect that something was wrong.

Arianna wasn’t bothered or simply she didn’t bloody give a care to what exactly her problem was,she’s been calling Zaiden since yesterday but he isn’t picking up.

At Least he should have answered her call to know exactly the reason why she’s calling him,she needs to tell him about Micheal.

She had refused telling Mia about what her next plan with Zaiden was because the girl has been acting out of herself,asking questions about Zaiden and likewise Nathan,which she has never done before.

She couldn’t say that it doesn’t bother her,but she’s scared,Micheal is coming over after hearing about her passing out.Mia has told the director and probably Micheal about her staying at the hospital because she knew it was only the two of them that knew she was in the hospital.

But what she hadn’t come to understand was what reasons why Micheal was coming to see her. As she heard earlier before travelling,his schedule was tight so why the sudden change of plans.

She could feel the knots forming in her sudden over his sudden visit,Micheal coming over here was not a good idea,he’s only coming to torture her life and make things worse between her and Zaiden If mistakenly he runs into him.

"Are you okay?’’She heard Mia’s voice as she turned to her to help her out of the car into the penthouse she was staying,she didn’t know after what she did by reporting everything to their agency if truly she was with her or with the company.

Why the stupid questions Anna,she’s an employee not someone like you?

She didn’t want to hate her because she has gotten used to her,but seeing her behaviour yesterday and today made her change her mind towards her.

"I’m okay"she said,smiling at her and at the workers in the hotel who awwd at her presence,taking the card from the receptionist,she noticed something within Mia’s eyes.

It was as if she was feeling bad about something she did but didn’t want to talk about it.

"I will be fine,you can go,"Arianna said, pressing the elevator,and taking her jacket from Mia’s hands, but the girl was still acting weird.

"Are you sure about that? I can help you prepare for your shoot tomorrow"She offered trying to find an excuse to stay with her.

"Is there something you want to tell me?’’Anna paused the elevator while staring at Mia with questioning and calculative eyes to know that she was palming her hands to know that she was nervous.

But why?

"N . Nothing,have a nice day"she said hurriedly,waving her hands at her while going to her room.

Anna seemed confused, not knowing what to do about her. She’s definitely going to request for a new assistant once they are back ,Mia is creeping her out.

Sighing,she pressed the elevator button,while waiting,then the image of her and Nathan crossed her mind.

She wondered what exactly he might be thinking was wrong with her?

Whatever it is ,she prayed he doesn’t use it against her just to get her working for him and his dad,she doesn’t want to be tangled up in family problems,she just want to be with Zaiden that’s all,she already has a lot on her head like taking care of Micheal.

"Finally"she breathed out,swiping her card,the door to her opened as she scanned her eyes around which she didn’t know why.

Dropping her jacket on a nearby couch,her phone rang,with fast reflexes she took it out of the pocket of her jacket,with the happiness running through her being that it was Zaiden calling.

"Mom"she said, disappointment gracing her features,she had forgotten so soon that she promised to call her mother since she came back but haven’t done that.

"I heard you were sick?"she asked over the phone.

Seriously Mia?

Why does she go ahead doing things that weren’t her place to do so?.

"I’m fine mother,it’s just nothing to get bothered about?’’she said, removing her shoes while walking inside her room oblivious to the being that was taking delight in watching her through this whole time.

"Have you been eating properly?Anna you know, am your mother you can tell me what it is that’s bothering you right?"Her mom asked her which made her remember Micheal,that’s just the point.

She doesn’t want her mom to be disappointed at her for being such a fool to stay in such a relationship just because of Fame.

She sniffed which her mother noticed immediately"are you crying?"

"Can I can you later mom?I’m ..kind of busy"she lied holding in her tears cutting the phone before her mother could say anything further.

Her phone rang a second time,cleaning her tears,she picked it up without looking at the caller."mom,I said I’m busy ,I will..."

" Do You know you look really pretty when you cry?"Micheal’s amused husky voice cut her short,then her eyes widened when she heard his voice.

"Mi..cheal"She called with shaky breaths.

"Yes baby girl,how have you been?’’He asked, smirking at her,while enjoying the look on her face while answering his calls,he would have to teach her not to do that next time.

"I’m not in the mood to talk to you right now!’’she yelled at him,making his face hardened at her raised voice. She even went ahead to try to cut the call,but his voice stopped her.

"I dare you , try to do that and you will lose that finger babygirl",He threatened which scared her,she has earlier taunted him about how he can do nothing to her because she was staying here for two months,but her joy was shortened by Mia’s declaration today that he was coming down to Country Z.

Doesn’t he have anything to do in New York?

Besides,what was her agency thinking when they thought of sending Micheal here?

She was no fool; she knew her director did that just to have someone keeping an eye on her and not give her the time to cause trouble while staying here,but why does it have to be Micheal.

Her worst nightmare.

She can’t even breathe whenever it was just the two of them, especially at night,her insomnia got worse just by sleeping on the same bed with him.

"Good girl,turn around"he said, which she didn’t hear because she was lost in thoughts.

"What?"she asked.

"Turn around my love"He demanded this time he noticed her shoulders flexed,he knew what she must be thinking.

She thought,still glued in the same spot without obeying his order,but his next words scared her because she felt her legs moving before she could even make up her mind to do so.

Her phone fell off her hand on the floor,her legs buckling as she nearly hit the floor due to shock,but he was fast in holding her.

"That’s my baby girl,why are you so scared? Did you miss me?’’The amusement in his voice made her sick,her stomach turning just while standing close to him.

"What are you doing here?"she felt her voice talking on its own,quite surprised at the courage she had at asking him that question."Arr!Michael`she gasped in pain when his hand on her waist tightened after hearing her question.

"That’s no way to talk to me,you know that angel"his dark threatening tone scared her, tearing down the wall of the little courage she had in her.

Micheal was a monster,a crazy one at that and she’s fallen prey to his sweet antics,she willingly walked into his dark world without knowing what she was doing.

Everything seemed fine at the beginning but after two months of their relationship, she noticed the changes and the consequences that followed with his changed personality.

She had tried giving her director the signals but she couldn’t actually point out if he’s blind to see the scars on her body or if he just didn’t care,as long as his money was coming,he didn’t care about any other thing.

"I missed you ’’she played along,hugging him while gagging at her words,she noticed the hesitancy before he hugged her back.

"Me too baby girl"He said, kissing her neck,while pressing her to his crotch.

"I heard you were sick?"He asked, breaking the hug while tucking away some strand of her hair covering her face to look into her eyes.

"It’s nothing much"she said smiling,she wasn’t interested in having any discussion with him and was trying as much as possible to keep l everything short.

"I guess so"he smiled back,kissing her lips briefly while pulling away from her to observe her place.

What exactly does he want this time?

"Nice place"He commended,his back facing here not being able to see the hateful stares she was sending his way.

"Thanks"

"I heard something"He started making her know it wouldn’t be long before she hears something she won’t like.

Sitting down on her chair with his dirty shoes soiling the neat furniture,while looking at her with folded hands.

"I heard he’s here"

"Who exactly?"she questioned.

"The lover boy"he said,while scratching his head as if he’s thinking of something"what’s his name again? Zaiden right?"

"I don’t know what you are talking about ’’she said, turning to leave for her room,but he was fast in holding her back,slamming her back hard at his front while circling his hand round her throat but not too hard to cut off her breathing.

"Now tell me? Where does he stay?"
