"Sir the cars ready"Andrew walked into his office to alert him about his appointment with Love Empire.

Zaiden nodded his head while taking his ringing phone out of his pockets,surprised to see Luke calling,it’s been ages he heard from him after he decided to stop calling after the engagement.

"Sup man?"As usual the highness in his voice was clear to him that he was drinking and this time he was drink as fuck,Luke needs to grown up.

"What do you want?"He asked in a cold cold,feeling bad all of a sudden for talking to him that way but knowing who he was,he didn’t mind him,he was used to his behaviour.

"Don’t you miss me?Come on dude it’s been a long time we hung out"Luke asked,waving his hand to warn one of the girls who was playing with his hair,the others were wrapped around him.

"I’m busy,"He deadpanned.

"That’s all you say everytime,how’s our wife?’’He asked this time with amusement laced in his tone,eagerly waiting for him to snap at him for addressing Hazel that way.

He could hear the growl that came from his side,such a possessive freak,here he was denying that he was enchanted by her but he gets angry when a man talks about her.

"What exactly do you want?"he asked this time in a more serious tone which made Luke sigh,standing up to excuse himself from the girls who were disrupting his call with him.

"What do you say we have dinner together this weekend,you,me and of course our wife,it’s been a long time I’ve seen her pretty face"He added, holding himself from laughing,what he would pay to see Zaiden’s face right now.

"We aren’t interested"he blurted out before he could even think of Hazel’s opinion if he asked,what’s the use of asking when she’s going to love the idea of leaving the house, moreover,the two were hanging out just fine at the engagement party which would also made her love the idea of meeting Like once again.

The car started towards the destination but his mind was occupied over what Luke said,honestly speaking,he couldn’t say that he was not ready for the marriage but his grandpa who was the chief head over everything hadn’t said anything about setting the date nor his assistant head,his mother.

Not that he couldn’t do that himself,but he didn’t want Hazel taking the wrong impression about him,rushing the marriage might give her the idea that he wants this marriage with her just as she wants it with him.

He could still remember her telling him that they needed to get married as soon as possible,he didn’t know what exactly was backing up this obsession of hers about getting married to him,she denied that she was in love with him after being asked numerous times.

If she wasn’t inlove with him,then why does she want this marriage? She also wasn’t interested in his money. What does she stand to gain in all these?

He didn’t trust her,not yet,he still needs to find out what she wants from him and about signing the contract with him,he needs to act fast if he wants her to sign it.

At Least that would keep her incheck If she tries acting funny once they get married,he got this feeling she might change once they sign the marriage papers,so he planned on signing a contracted one with her that would last a year.

Was a year too far?What if he changed it for six months?

Yeah,Six months was enough time for him to study her and figure out exactly what she wants to do with him, she’s too suspicious and he couldn’t risk falling for her within this period of time his emotions were still everywhere.

He was back to his cold self again, forgetting so soon what he had done with her this early morning,that was a mistake?

He lost his control this morning,and he wouldn’t do that again,he would make sure of that.

His phone chimed catching his attention,he sighed in tiredness and nearly felt his heart fall out of his body when a heavy thunder struck.

"Sir,are you alright?’’Andrew asked with concern when he saw the grimace look on his face but he only rolled his eyes at the young man’s kind gesture,before clicking on the message.

Hurt.

Confusion.

Total despair.

He didn’t know how to feel as his eyes was glued to his phone which held in the figure of his father and that bitch, Hazel making out in his office.

He should have known,he had always known,a whore would always be a whore,she couldn’t find someone else to open legs for and she chose the husband of the same woman who had brought her into the family in the first place.

They would always remain the same Zaiden,what was he thinking when he had a hope that she was different from Arianna,in the end she proved him wrong,they are the same.

He was scared to ask him exactly where to go,using his initiative to drive him home,while muttering the lord’s prayer.

"Sir,we are ...."The car was shut with a hard bang which shot him up,the rain choosing this time to start its shower home earth,it wasn’t a coincidence that he was angry and heaven knew about that and chose that moment to start raining,it wasn’t a coincidence,it wasn’t a good sign.

He’s angry.

"Who..."She asked trying to calm him down before he could spoil things with his anger but the glare Zaoden sent his glare was enough for her to understand that he’s not interested in what she had to say,he ignored her and strode to him room but not without the old woman calling him.

He could have listened to her but this wasn’t the right time for that,he has far more important things to take care of.

Turning the room door open,it was so dark that he wondered if she was in there because the lights were off. Suddenly he heard someone sniffing,he heard her sniffling,what a good actress!

Turning the lights on he saw her in the floor curled in a sitting position with her head in between her legs,she lifted her head up and that was when he noticed her teary face,his heart tightened seeing her like this that he wondered if he was a fool or what.

He was here to get her talking about her affair with his dad’s but he couldn’t seem to talk after seeing him like this,her next actions shocked him and made him dumbfounded.

"You are..here"Her shaky voice made him tighten his fist already annoyed at whatever or whoever made her angry. She stood up and rushed to hug him tightly,her hands wrapped tightly around him, which made him notice something odd.

She was scared.
