"What’s with the look?you look really happy today?"Sophia asked Elijah the very minute he stepped into their room,he didn’t know she was there watching his every movement and came to finally rest on his facial expression to figure out he was in a good mood.

The only time she could remember him being in a good mood was whenever he did something that made his family angry or made his father shout the whole day. That’s how twisted of a human being he is,he loves seeing his dad in pain.

But she couldn’t blame him,because she too was twisted and complicated,no,much more complicated than him,which makes them a perfect pair.

"Nothing"Elijah said curtly,humming his favourite song to himself before releasing his tie while Sophia crumbled her face at what he just said,who was he kidding?

Why doesn’t he want to tell her?They promised no secrets between them and he’s failing to keep to it.

Ignoring him,she went to take her phone from the nightstand,her hand grazed him but halfway to leaving,he wrapped his arms around her making her squeak at his actions,she wasn’t expecting him to do that,not after lying to her.

"Leave me alone"She said tiredly not in the mood for him tonight,she had a slight headache since afternoon which hasn’t reduced even after taking her drugs.

"Are you angry at me?"Elijah asked pinching her sides that she jerked to.his touch,she slapped his hand which made him smile before kissing her exposed neck."you don’t have to be sweetheart, I’m just in a good mood that’s all"

"And I want to know the reason why baby,if I can remember it’s been long I’ve seen you like this and seeing you like this means it won’t be long before I hear the old man’s angry voice"She said escaping his hold to turn to look at him with folded arms with a sinister smile on her face,she just couldn’t wait to hear it.

"Are you implying that your hubby is a bad son to his dad because i feel bad hearing that ’’Elijah feigned hurt touching his heart which made her roll her eyes at his act,he was such a good actor,who was he kidding with his fake concern?

For all he cared,it would give him immense pleasure if the old man was dead,but he didn’t want him dead right now just like he said when she offered to take away his burden,he still wanted him alive for some of his plans.

"Then am I now a bad daughter-in-law for saying that?"She asked back,the two bursted out laughing at their silly attitudes,she went up to release the button of his clothes while he stared into her dark orbs to notice her uneasiness.

"What’s wrong with you?Had a bad day?’’He was concerned,the last thing he wanted now was her acting up and zoning out of her humanity,she might hurt him and he was scared of that but he couldn’t take her to the asylum,he loves her.

"It’s just a slight migraine,but it’s proving stubborn since it doesn’t want to leave me for godfucking sake!"She yelled pushing him aside to walk up to the bed but not without him following her but with calculated steps and eyes fast at reading her body movement.

"Did you take your drugs today?’’He asked,standing in front of her raising her face up to look into her eyes. She was on the verge of crying and he hated to see her cry.

"Should I have done that?"She asked suddenly, making him scared,as he found a smug look hanging in her face, Sophia was playing games with him, dangerous games and if she kept this behaviour of hers up,it wouldn’t be long before his cover would be blown off.

"Baby you are not serious right?’’He asked but this time carefully while watching her with focused attention waiting for her to act up but she surprised him by laughing hard at the expression on his face.

But this act was making him more afraid,he’s never seen this side of her before,this was a new version of hers and it’s making him doubt if she had anything up her sleeves,she’s just playing with him right?

"Are you scared of me?’’she asked suddenly as his eyes nearly fell out of their sockets, was he so obvious to her that his heart was beating abnormally while trying to figure out what she’s up to.

"Should I be?"He asked, watching her suspiciously, he noticed something glint in her eyes before disappearing. She was distracted which gave him the idea that she was up to something,she never hesitates.

"Is Nathan back?"she suddenly asked, diverting from the topic which made him curl his lips into a smile standing up to take her medicine from the nightstand and also pour her a cup of water.

No matter how he’s trying to conceal her sickness,it’s getting worse day by day and if he doesn’t want her fully zoning out,he needs to take her to the asylum.

But it wasn’t that easy,what’s the point if taking her there when she doesn’t want to be saved,she detest the hospital as fuck and also throws a tantrum whenever it’s time for checkup.

Moreover,she nearly killed the first and second psychiatrist that was recommended to her saying that she felt bored and that they pissed her off.

Sophia didn’t need a psychiatrist,she has told him that numerous times but he went ahead and forced her in this,he nearly lost his insanity when he walked in on her session with the second psychiatrist choking him to death after the first relocated Abroad but he was sure the first was lying about leaving country,he was scared of Sophia.

Why won’t they be?,he too was also scared of the terror she was going to instill on family members if eventually she loses her humanity forever,but he won’t let that happen. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖

He won’t let them take her away from him,he’s going to save her because she too also saved him when he wanted to give up.

Sophia was his light in his dark twisted world,fighting away his demons and now he’s going to do the same with his baby girl, he’s going to save her.

"Here"He handed her the glasses of water with the medicines placed on her palm with a sad look on her face,which he found cute.

"A guard looked down on me today,he’s probably on Avery’s side"she complained, taking the medicines without nagging about how bitter it was or how irritating it is for him to be forcing her to take her medicines everyday.

"Who was it?’’Elijah’s interest was now on what she was saying ,if someone pissed her off then he needed to know who he is and how to come about punishing whosoever it was,before she thinks of doing that herself.

"Why should I let you know who it is?it’s not like you can do anything about it,don’t worry I will take care of it"She handed him the glass of water back,while falling on top of the bed staring at the ceilings before moving her attention back to him.

"Tell me baby,I will get your revenge for you"he insisted, climbing on top of her while kissing her nose,trying to seduce her so ass to get the information out of her seeing as she’s not interested in letting him know who it was.

He wanted her to tell him who it was before things got bad,he couldn’t let her do that herself.

"No,get off!’’she pushed him but he didn’t bug one bit, rather caging her under him,while trailing wet kisses down her neck,a moan escaped her lips while he smiled.

"Tell me babygirl,daddy will take care of it for you okay?"He whispered to her,then bit down in her lower lips but not too hard to draw blood,his hand moving down to stop at her lower region.

"Stop..it"she couldn’t deny she wanted him right now but telling him who it was,was definitely not going to happen,it was time she took things in her hands and make them pay, Elijah doesn’t treat them they way she wanted to treat them,he’s too kind for her liking.

When it seems as if he’s not ready to give up yet,she deliberated whether to tell him or not,it’s not as if he could do anything about it when he’s going to be asleep soon.

"It’s ...",She started,tilting his face to look directly into his eyes,while smiling at him,just as he was about to kiss her,she was fast enough to stick the injection she had been hiding under her panties into his neck.

"Ba..by"he called,his vision already failing him,his body went limp and he couldn’t stand up.

"Go to sleep honey,I need to put things in order"she said, covering him with the sheets before giving him a last kiss to his lips humming to her favorite song while going into her wardrobe to take out her favourite toy.
