365 Days To Love-Chapter 80 - EIGHTY:Elijah Saved Her.

The two shifted their attention to who it was that had to question Ezekiel’s authority when he had said she was leaving.

Hazel was short of words while looking at Elijah standing in front of them with his hands fisted and with a terrified look on his face while glaring daggers at his brother. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

Ezekiel withdrew his hands away from her throat while she coughed,he smirked at Elijah before walking up to him,with amusement and total disappointment written all over him.

But what made him more merrier was the fact that he had caught them,both the spy and the one in charge of sending her to the family and it was no one other than his revenge driven brother who acted cool as if he didn’t know what was happening.

How dare he?

He approached him with steady rhythms while Elijah was still keenfully looking at him with a smug look on his face which irritated Ezekiel,he lurched to punch him but he was fast in dodging his reflexes and held him by the collar the two staring deeply into their eyes with anger driving the both of them.

"Just stop it already!"Hazel yelled their attention back to her while she was crying already,Elijah loving every bit of this,his plan was working.

He had passed through his nephew’s room to hear someone whimpering and some ruflings while telling the other to let go, only to go find out when he barged inside the room that his brother had pinned Hazel on the wall.

But what made it more amusing was the fact that the way in which the two were making it seems as if he was forcing himself on her,giving off the wrong idea to anyone who saw it might think they were making out.

Trying to know which strategy he would take on making Hazel think he was on her side while planning her demise and that of her lover,this was the perfect time to do so.

Although,he didn’t know what exactly was the problem between the two,he didn’t care,what he wanted was to act as her saviour at the arms of his crazy brother who had gone extra miles to show hos dislike towards her.

He took a photo of them while smiling sinisterly while they were still in that compromising position before moving ahead to tell Ezekiel she wasn’t going anywhere and that seemed to affect his brother because he took a step back and turned to look at who dared to reverse his order.

"I should have known it was you all along,what were you thinking to gain in all of this?Tell me?"Ezekiel yelled, still holding him by his collar when he ignored Hazel’s plea in stopping the fight between them.

Elijah didn’t understand what he meant but choosing this time to complicate things was going to be a little helpful in his plans,so he turned to his brother.

"What exactly do you mean?I dont know what you are talking about,so let go"He warned his hands covering his brother’s as he tugged at him,but sadly, Ezekiel’s hold was tight and firm.

"You can deny all you want,but you have been caught red handed this time and there’s no denying it"He said persistently pointing at Hazel who was biting her lower lip in confusion.

"What does he mean?"Elijah asked this time, referring to Hazel since he couldn’t understand what his brother was saying.

"I was just bored,I decided to look into his office,I swear,I didn’t want to touch anything ,I just wanted to look for a library so I could help myself,and then.."She stopped looking at Ezekiel’s back that was faced to her,thank god he was facing back at her because she would have stuttered if he was looking at his with those bloody eyes.

"He said I was a spy"she finally said,the word sounding foreign to her,she shouldn’t have gone into his office,she just brings bad luck wherever she goes.

"Spy?’’Elijah asked surprised,this wasn’t what he was expecting,was his brother a fool or what? How could he accuse someone like her as a spy?

"Yes a spy,your spy!’’Ezekiel finally interpreted it for him to understand before pushing him away going back to take Hazel’s hands while she declined but he dragged her regardless of her pleas for him to stop and hear her out but he wasn’t planning on doing so.

He was blinded by his quest to find out for himself and to prove to the family that she was a bad idea that he didn’t stop for once to think of what she wanted to say,but nevertheless,he wasn’t interested in what she had to say,because her word meant nothing to him.

"You are making a mistake here please,you have to listen to me"She pleaded as they were now in the bedroom,halfway to leaving,her other hand was held back by someone, Elijah.

Which halted her movement,she turned to see the veins that were already popping out of Ezekiel’s skull when he turned to see who it was that held him back for the second time.

"Let go of her"Elijah said calmly,trying to appear as the saint here when it’s obvious he would love for his brother to go downstairs and disgrace himself but that would be a waste of energy and opportunity,when he could help Hazel,which would make her think he’s in her side, after all,her father-in-law was not approving of his son’s marriage to her.

Oh!Such a sweet drama!

"Do you have a death wish?let go of that hand!"

"Don’t you think you are making a fool out of yourself,how could you label her a spy when she has nothing on her even after searching his room?You know dad wouldn’t take it lightly with you once it’s confirmed that she’s innocent,so I’m warning you to think it through before making a step out of here"he said finally before releasing his hold on her,giving Hazel a reassuring smile that everything was going to be fine before leaving.

Now,it was just the two of them again,with Ezekiel glaring daggers at her,but this time she could see hesitancy in his eyes,finally,the chance to talk him out of this shit has sprung up.

"Why do you hate me that much?’’She asked,this was the question she wanted to ask him a long time ago after knowing of his dislike towards her,I mean,she didn’t do him no wrong to deserve his bad treatment of her.

Did she commit a felony by getting engaged to his son?

What didn’t he like in her?She would try as much as possible to change,but let him stop making it difficult for her to breathe in this house. It was already irritating enough that she was going to die in a year’s time.

"What don’t you like about me ?I promise to change but please let me get married to your son,I have to so please.."She was crying already that his hold on her loosened,she squatted down crying while he stood there looking at the poor girl who he had accused of being a spy.

Does a spy cry after getting caught?

Does a spy beg to marry the enemy’s son after her cover has been blown?

No matter how strongly he had believed that she was not right for his son,but seeing her this way broke his heart,she was just a young lady who loved his son right?

She doesn’t have any plans,she only loves his son and he had made her cry.He didn’t know how to confront her or apologize when knowing he made a mistakes,he didn’t want to appear weak infront,no..he didn’t want her to see that he was already regretting his decision already,that he made a mistake.

Taking his pride with him,he left her there as she curled herself down in a sitting position while crying,letting everything all out. It’s been a long time since she did that,and she needed to do it and now seemed like a better time.

No matter how she tries denying it that she made a good decision by forgiving Zaiden and accepting him back,she still felt the tugging at her chest that she had done something which she might come to regret.

The feeling that she didn’t belong and would never belong here was so overwhelming that she was having second thoughts over what the fairy godmother said.

Hazel had tried to stop believing that it was real,had it been the symptoms weren’t affecting her again she wouldn’t have believed what the godmother said about finding true love.

It seems finding true love had made people have the wrong impressions about her when she’s trying to survive,when she is trying to live before her time is up.

Finding true love had made the very person who she chose to love call her a stalker and a whore but seeing as they have passed that stage,she felt relieved,at least his perception of her has changed its only left for him to love her right?

Amidst the temptations and tribulations that came with staying with Zaiden,she didn’t want to give up, no,she’s not giving up now,she had come too far to give up and leaving was not a good idea.

If she gave up now, what’s the use of self respect when she fucked up,so,there’s no goving up.

She stools up with a new sense of confidence and determination running within her, Zaiden belongs to her,it’s just a matter of time before he falls for her,she will make it happen.
