"Do you think they are here already?"Hazel asked for the third time tonight,that had Zaiden frowning at how eager she was to see his parents.
Well,for the records. He knew what this was all about ,and this was nothing but her feeling nervous about the confession she was about to give to the family.
He’s here for her,and he had assured her that even if it took everyone a while to forgive her, he will be there for her.No matter what.
Although,he could bet with his life that his mother wouldn’t care what she did just to get her way into the family.She loved Hazel a lot and there’s no way that would change because of what she did.
If anything, Avery Knights he knew would personally want to meet the fairy godmother to thank her for extending her days,which was sad.
Hazel had clearly told him that she hasn’t been able to get into contact with her,eversince the first time she appeared to her.
It would not have made any sense to him that his girl was practically Cinderella,but her own has a lot of twists in her story with the godmother.
He wouldn’t have believed it,had it been Hazel wasn’t trustworthy.Honestly,he too would also like to meet the godmother.
He wasn’t practically thinking of only thanking her,but he had other hidden agendas about Hazel’s health that he wanted to talk about with her.
What if there’s a possibility that she can cure Hazel?
She granted Hazel’s wish once, there’s nothing that is going to change if she’s asked to save a life, right?
Was she capable of doing that or was it beyond her capabilities?
Zaiden knew that it was so very much insecure of him to think this way.This was nothing but him getting scared, that the surgery would go wrong and it was very unhealthy for someone who’s been trying to assure Hazel that she will make it.

That’s what it is,and not him trying to sound unsure of Doctor Sam’s abilities.
Even if he wasn’t so excited about Hazel’s choice of hospital,well there’s nothing he can do about it either.
She has strongly insisted that she wanted to have the surgery here ,and not in India after he had proposed the idea to her.
Hazel can be stubborn,and he didn’t know what sort of stubbornness was running through her vein,when her life was on the line.
She doesn’t know how frustrated it was for him to stay here,while his mind was running through future actions to check if there’s anywhere a problem will arise if that was possible.
But he was no time traveler or any alien to look into that.He was nothing but an ordinary human.
An ordinary Zaiden Knight ,who’s over worried about his fianceè’s surgery tomorrow.
Hazel had told him that once she’s done with the surgery,she’s out of the danger zone.They had to get married as soon as possible.
But not with the same attention his grandpa had attracted to them in the first wedding that was organized,she wanted a low-key wedding with just family and few friends.
Speaking of friends,it’s only Sunny.He doesn’t even know if she has an idea what is happening.
Hazel hasn’t spoken about her,and there’s a hundred percent possibility that she didn’t send a message to get either.
"I don’t think that should be what should be entertaining your thoughts sweetheart,you need to rest your brain and all that "Zaiden advised, bringing his phone up to check the time.
They had to have arrived here,it being thirty minutes since she sent the message to everyone.
"I can’t help it.its being long since i saw them ,and then the very first time i see them again is on my sick bed"She said,sitting up on the bed as Zaiden sighed before taking her hands unto his.
"Everything will be fine sweetheart,I promise "He assured her, moving closer to place his temple on hers while looking into her eyes that got shy suddenly when she remembered something.
Their first night.
The memory lives rent free in her head,and she doesn’t mind,but how would he feel if she tells him that she’s horny right now?
"What?"Zaiden asked, noticing something on her face.
"What would you do if i told you that I’m horny right now?"Hazel blurted out,and that made Zaiden jerked in shock where he sat,as if he was being stung by a bee.

"Babe,are you..."Zaiden scooped closer to her, trying to ask if she was honest or if she’s only trying to pull his legs.
She knew not to joke with this sort of thing, because he too won’t mind having a quickie with her here,but he would refrain from doing that because of her surgery tomorrow.
He doesn’t want to stress her up for tomorrow,and that was what he tried to tell her, but the door was pushed open and in walked the crew.His mother’s loud voice separating both of them as they turned to see everyone.
"Hazel!"Avery yelled, well she’s shocked that she rushed and pushed Zaiden off the where he sat and engulfed Hazel in a hug.
"Mom, seriously?"Zaiden asked, standing up to dust the imaginary dirt off his clothes.
This was the very first impression she had left on him,after many weeks of her not seeing him.
Honestly,if the table was turned around and he had nothing with Hazel.He would have clearly said that he was adopted, and not the real child of his parents for their funny way of treating him.
"I’m sorry for running away and ghosting you for weeks"Hazel apologized ,before she could utter any words.
"It’s alright sweetheart,I’m not angry at you"Avery said, combing her hands through her locks,as Hazel smiled before turning to where others were.
Her eyes were stuck on her mother,who was hesitant,while contemplating if it was a good idea or not to walk to her.
So,she stretched forth her hands towards her mother who broke into a sob, when she realized who she was calling for.
"I’m so .. sorry Arabella,I’m so sorry"She said, engulfing her child in a hug while holding her dear.
Cherishing the moment as if this was probably the last time,she will ever get such a privilege to be this way with her.
"It’s okay..I forgive you"Hazel said in between sobs,while avoiding using the hand the IV was placed in to touch her mother.
Looking up at the others,she noticed that they weren’t complete.Someone didn’t make it, someone called her dad.
"He wasn’t able to make it"Ethan said, walking up to her to shuffle her hair after she was done with their mother.it was his turn with her.
"I’m still angry at you,don’t give me those looks"Ethan playfully feignedly anger,but he was pulled in for a hug by Hazel who ignored hos comment.
"I’m sorry, bro.I won’t do that anymore ’’She said, sniffing as his body finally relaxed and patted her back.
"It’s okay,I was only joking"
"Do i get one too?’’Grandpa asked,and that made everyone chuckle before Ethan moved for the old man to meet his daughter in law.
"How have you been, kiddo?"He asked, moving closer to whisper to her ears,"Am I expecting a grandchild?"
What was supposed to be a whisper was heard by everyone, and a laugh erupted in the room.With Hazel’s ripe cheeks not failing to show how embarrassed she was.
"No..it’s not that..’’She said, pulling away some strands of her hair behind her ear,while avoiding Zaiden’s face.
"What do you mean by that?"Ezekiel queried.
"Nathan already has one coming his way"Elijah said,moving forward with Sophia who held onto his arms for her dear lice.she’s scared and god knows what exactly was running through her mind.
"Seriously?"Zaiden and Hazel yelled out in surprise,like what the hell?
How did that happen?
"Father?’’Nathan called,this was not the way he wanted to introduce Lucy to his brother and sister-in-law.
"Whatever"Elijah mumbled.

"I know there’s nothing that would justify how bad i have treated you,and .."
"It’s okay, auntie"Hazel cut her short.She doesn’t want to let her continue,not when she’s one prideful lady that would rather bite her tongue than to do that.

A lot has happened in their absence,and she needs to know what and how exactly it all happened.
"I don’t think that’s possible Hazel"Elijah said, walking forward to kneel in front of her.
"Uncle,stop I.."Hazel urged, looking at Zaiden to help her convince him that she’s good.
It was really embarrassing seeing them all this way,she had forgiven them a long time ago ,and she knew that though they all owed her an apology, kneeling Infront of her was too much.
"I don’t think so either Hazel"Nathan said before joining his dad too to kneel in front of her."I have caused you a whole lot of pain too,and it’s really..."
"I have forgiven you all Nathan,please help your dad up"Hazel said,as he paused for a bit as if he wasn’t planning on listening to her.
He has always been one stubborn fellow,but surprisingly he gave in and helped his dad up.
"Can..I..hug you?"Sophia asked, stuttering a little bit.
It’s been a long time since she wanted to do that,but her pride wouldn’t let her admit it.
"Ofcourse"Hazel said,and opened her arms to take her in as she started crying.
"I’m so sorry for everything,Hazel"She said lastly,before moving on to her husband’s embrace.
"Hi,"James said, waving to her as she returned the gesture too.
As much as it was nice to see everyone here,Hazel couldn’t hide her disappointed look over what her father did.
Why wasn’t he here?
This was maybe the last time they will get to see her, tomorrow is still unsure if the surgery will be a successful one.
Yet,he didn’t head the request to see her for the last time,maybe her mother was right to say that her father was heartless.
"So what exactly are you guys doing here if she’s glowing like this to be called a sick person?"Avery asked,turning to face Zaiden who had been looking at Nathan for reasons best known to him alone.
"Ah...we.."He stuttered.
"I had something important to say,mother"Hazel took over,it was by right she’s the one who reveals the truth and not Zaiden.
"Is something the matter sweetheart,you look pale?’’Isabella asked, touching her temple to check if she’s having a fever but everything was right.
"Someone important..hmm?"Avery teased, looking between the couples to suspect that Hazel was expecting.
If only that was true.
If only that was the case for them being summoned here,but rather it was something else that had everyone’s heart stopped beating for a second when they heard what she said.
"I..I’m sick mother,"
"I know that the morning sickness are all signs of..."Avery went on,but she was stopped by her.
"It’s not that kind of ’sick’ mother"she interrupted,a mean look on her face that made everyone ransack their brain on what sort of sickness she was talking about.
"Mom,Hazel is..."Zaiden chipped in,but Haxeo beat him to it before he could even blink an eye.
