A lot has happened in these past few days,and it’s always been busy with every day that passes by in the house.
"Ha.."Avery wanted to speak,but paused when she noticed the resemblance she shared with her daughter in-law.
She looks like Hazel,but she’s not Hazel and she knew everyone noticed that too.
"I’m sorry for ghosting on all of you for a...’’His word was cut short by the words of Detective John,and the metal that turned out to be handcuffed encircled his wrist.
"You are under arrest for the kidnap of Miss Lucy Wells here who had been reportedly gone misd..."
"I think him appearing here with the lady explains that you made a mistake on your accusations detective,my Nephew is not a thug"
Avery spoke up , surprising both Nathan and Sophia over the latest changes in the family.
He missed a lot.
"Really?’’Detective John asked,as if he was about to prove her wrong for what she just said,then he turned to Lucy who was scared and nervous at the sudden turn of events of what’s happening.
This wasn’t what she expected, when Nathan had said that he’s about to introduce her to his family member,they all were intimidating but not to her of course.
She only felt intimidated under Nathan’s eyes who had all long been watching her with the detective,it was as if he was disappointed over her closeness with him.
But it didn’t make sense to her why detective John would do something like filing a report against Nathan,she never really told him she wanted to do that to him.
She didn’t want to do that to Nathan,to the father of her child.
No!She didn’t want her baby’s father to go to jail or to have a criminal record.
"Lucy,tell them?’’She heard Detective John say, jerking her out of her thoughts as she watched as the lady who she figured out to be Nathan’s mom asked.
"Tell us what?"Sophia queried, looking at the lady who Nathan had come into the room earlier with.
"Who the hell is she to you son?"Elijah asked further.
"Lucy?"Detective John called again,"Tell them how he’s got your brother locked up,and used him as leverage to keep you as his plaything!"
"What!"Grandpa yelled.
"What’s this stupid cop gaining from accusing my son Elijah, Tell him to leave him out of this"Sophia didn’t care to know what it is they were saying about Nathan.
The most important thing was that she’s not him to let the cop take him away from her.
"Tell them now,why are you hesitating?"the detective asked,and something shone in his eyes."Did he threaten you again?"
"N..no ..he did..nt"She stuttered, getting frustrated but what’s going, but what seemed to off her was the calmness of Nathan, who had long been looking straight at her.
He kept calm,not ultering any single words to help stop what’s going on.
It was as if he was trying to see who she’s gonna to choose.Was she going to choose the detective over him?
He’s changed,he is starting to treat her right.Although,it was a lot to take in over how he changed his attitude towards her.

"Stop shouting at the poor girl!"Avery yelled at the officer.
"He’s ...not what you think he is"She finally spoked,and felt everywhere go calm at her ulterration.

"He didn’t kidnap me officer,I have been staying with him because he’s my boyfriend and I’m sorry if i have given off the wrong impression "She said,and watched the way Detective John’s expression changed.
She was sorry for what she did,but she would be more sorry for being the one to send her baby’s father to jail.
"Take this off my son’s hands immediately and get the hell out of here!"Sophia yelled.

Amidst what was happening, Nathan all long couldnt to really explain what was going on in his entire system after what his girl just did.
He had expected her to listen to the cop,and have him go to jail but here she was defending him as if he was not guilty for what he did.
What did he do to deserve such an angel?
"I’m sorry for the inconveniences,I guess i was wrong this time "Detective John apologized,as he released the cuff off Nathan who rushed up to engulf Lucy into a bone crushing hug.
"Get the hell out of here,you will have me to contend with soon"The old man said,as the detective walked out with his partners with their head down, deeply embarrassed at themselves.
"I’m so sorry Angel,I promised i would be better.I will treat you right and i would have the world placed under your feet, anything you want,it’s all yourself sweetheart "Nathan confessed,not minding that he had company who are waiting for him to explain himself.

Infront of his family,as Sophia giggled,and pulled her face away to her husband’s chest,who was all smiles at the scene.
Finally,his son was over Hazel’s charm,and had finally gotten a woman of his own.
"Uhhn ’’Grandpa coughed, alerting the two couples,as Lucy shyly pulled away when she regained her senses and hid her coloured face in Nathan’s chest.
This was definitely not the way she had planned her first impression,as always Nathan couldn’t keep his hands to himself.
"It’s okay Angel ’’He said, patting her back before turning to face his family who were all waiting for an explanation.
He’s not stupid not to notice that his dad, his uncle and grandpa didn’t bought Lucy’s statement moments ago.
But that’s not the problem,he would have that sorted out later.
Moving forward,while taking Lucy’s hands into his own.He stopped in front of everyone.
"Mom,Dad, grandpa, auntie,and uncl.."
"Just get it done already,I like her"Sophia said, poking his arm as everyone laughed.
"I need to record this and send this to Zaiden and Hazel, ’’Avery said, taking out her phone from the pocket of her trouser.
"This is Lucy Wells,My girlfriend and the mother of my unborn child..."Nathan’s statement was cut short by his mother’s screaming.
"She’s pregnant?!"She exclaimed,and rushed over to pull Lucy in for a hug, while chanting happily.
"I’m about to become a grandma"She said, pecking Lucy’s cheeks and that’s going overboard.
"Mother seriously?"Nathan pulled her away from his mother who sent a glare his way.
"Would i make a good grandma,geez! I know nothing about...’’Sophia blabbering was cut short by her husband as Nathan and Lucy laughed hard.
His mother was such a drama queen.
"You will make a good grandma"Elijah said, kissing her cheeks,while she smiled lovingly, Avery not forgetting to record that.
"Congrats Son, welcome to the family Lucy"Elijah said, hugging her as she shyly hugged him back as her tears formed in her eyes.
His parents were so warm, and not like she had pictured them out to be.
"Thanks Dad"Nathan smiled,his eyes moving over to his grandpa who hadn’t said anything since he heard he brought his pregnant girlfriend home.
Everyone noticed that,and was somehow scared of what he would say.After all,he isn’t married yet and had gone ahead to leave the family house and business for a week to take care of his pregnant girl.
But he’s not angry right?
He can never be angry at his two precious grandsons.

He took three steps to where Lucy was,as she gripped Nathan’s hand in fear.His grandpa was intimidating and she could see how Nathan resembled him.
Surprisingly,he pulled her in for a hug as everyone called down, initially they had thoughts that he was about to say something not beneficial to the girl.
"Welcome to the family child"He said, breaking the hug to palm her cheeks in s loving manner,but that’s not without giving Nathan a look that says that they had a lot to talk about.
"Does anyone not notice that she looks just like Hazel?’’Sophia asked,as Avery’s countenance changed when she looked at the message on her phone.
"Guys?"She called,her eyes still fixed on the message that she doesn’t want to think it’s real.
"What’s wrong, sweets?"Ezekeil was the first to ask,her face says that thing’s weren’t the way it was before.
"I ..think something’s wrong with Hazel and Zaiden.he..they...",She stuttered,her heart going pit-a-pat at the thoughts of why Hazel would ask her to meet at the central hospital.
"Is everything okay with them?*Sophia was the first to break the silence, because everyone was busy glancing at their phone, holding the same expression Avery had earlier.
"Zaiden...Hazel...they are in.."Nathan started.
"They are I’m the hospital"Elijah and Ezekeil concluded ,while staring at the oldman who hadn’t said anything yet but his facial expression said it all.
