"Girl,you look stunning!"Sunny compliments the moment Hazel stepped into the restaurant as per her request,which she gladly obeyed because it was now suffocating to stay in that huge house all by herself when Zaiden was not at home.

Likewise Avery,her mother in law who had been quite occupied with the preparation of her wedding,leaving her alone to herself and her thoughts.

Just like her normal routine every single day because of the wedding,Avety had made it a must do routine to check on the food before it was being sent up to her.

Just like the sweet daughter in-law she was,she obeyed and ate whatever it was she had prepared for her,after all,she had to look her best on her special day.

She has received a call from Sunny who had pleaded that they meet up, although it was not that easy convincing Avery to let her go out which she had complained bitterly about stressing herself before her wedding.

Avery was so dramatic, but she’s so sweet and caring that it brings tears to her eyes whenever she recalls how lucky she was to have someone like her.

She had given her, her expensive sunblock against the sun and had strictly instructed the guards on the need to protect her with their life.

Hazel knew that it was such a crucial time to leave the house, seeing that they were still facing a lot at the moment,but that didn’t make her change her mind from meeting Sunny today.

Another reason for the meetup, had been how excited Sunny had sounded over the phone when she gisted her about the recent happenings in her life ,and damn! she’s been talking nonstop about this handsome guy who saved her from Mason.

So,here she was,standing in front of the over excited Sunny who’s voice resonated through the whole restaurant. Well, luckily enough Sunny’s friend had booked the restaurant for themselves,so she wasn’t concerned about the manager walking in on them to tell her to calm down.

Just like Sunny was,she was also eager to see this new friend of hers that’s making her go crazy to the extent of inviting her too to meet him.

She only hoped it wouldn’t end the same way her relationship with Mason did,Sunny was too straightforward unlike her,so,as much as she was here to meet her crush because he’s not her friend seeing the way she was eluding.

She’s here on the watch out for her too,she doesn’t want another heartbreak coming to her anymore,she deserves to be happy.

The two friends kissed each other’s cheeks, Hazel complimented her effort to look her best just for a lunch,Sunny seriously!

"This is just lunch Sunny,look at you"Hazel asked, scanning her from head to toe,and just like the drama queen she was,she turned around slowly.

"How do i look girl?",She asked,with her hand on her waist when she finally stopped turning.

"You look gorgeously overdressed for lunch,you didn’t tell me this was some date Sun ’’Hazel complimented and giggled when she rolled her eyes at her statement before sitting down.

"Oh please! what were you expecting when i called you?of course i wanted you to check him out for me ,it has gotten to my notice that i end up falling for douchebags,so you my love.."She moved closer to Hazel,to stroke her cheeks"Is going to be my eyes today,I want my own Zaiden"She chuckled.

"You are unbelievable"Hazel said,slapping her hands away from her face which she feigned hurt but ended up laughing.

"So,how’s the preparation for the wedding,like sis,I can’t wait for that day"She asked,standing up and flung her hair backwards , with squinted eyes and a real killer pose which got both the manager, and Hazel to question what exactly had gotten inside her today.

"Everyone is going to know that Cassandra Peterson graced that terrishold with her beauty",She boldly said,which made Hazel burst out into laughter.

"Sunny calm down,seriously"

There’s never any dull moment with Sunny,and right now,she was being over excited about this whole meetup which he was taking a lot of time .

Which was the first time Hazel noticed,how could he keep two gorgeous girls waiting for the past five minutes?

"Ethan’s taking more time to come here,what’s holding him?"Sunny said, checking her watch,while wondering if he really remembered that they were meeting up today.

The name sounded family to Hazel,that she could recall she had heard that name somewhere,but couldn’t recall who exactly she met was answering that name.

"Oh..he’s here ,Hazel,stand up"Sunny’s overexcited voice gleed, as she saw him enter into the restaurant with Tyson at his back,God, he looks drop dead gorgeous that she couldn’t wait for him to ask her to be his girlfriend officially.

"How do i look Hazel?"Sunny asked again,taking out her mirror to give herself one last look before tucking it back in her purse.

Hazel gave her a thumbs up that she was good to go,before she heard someone stop in front of them, turning to look into the face of the man who had been driving Sunny crazy,and surprisingly it was no one other than her stalker,no no...Ethan.

The man who had been trying out ways to talk to her, for god knows what reasons he was doing that.

"You are not looking bad as well, handsome"She complimented back,biting her lips,nearly forgetting about Hazel who coughed and that was when their attention was now on her.

"Hazel"Ethan called, surprised,he didn’t notice her earlier because he had his eyes on Sunny who was looking as gorgeous as ever.

"Yes, me"Hazel smiled, coldly with folded hands.

"Do you guys know each other?"Sunny asked,looking from Hazel to Ethan who had a broad smile on his face while looking at Hazel who was not reciprocating the gesture.

"Yes"Ethan said,with a proud smile on his face as if he just won an award or something.

"You could say that,"Hazel replied, neither happy nor angry.

Suny noticed that Hazel wasn’t much more excited as she was to see him,but Ethan was smiling like a he-goat while staring at her as if he saw Santa claus.

"Is that the man you were talking about?"Hazel asked,not caring about what Ethan thinks,she was not going to allow Sunny to be with someone like him.

How sure is she that he didn’t approach her because he knew of her relationship with her?

"Yes ,Is there any problem Hazel,what’s going..."Sunny asked, worriedly,this was not going the way she wanted it to go,with the way Hazel was referring to Ethan as if he didn’t matter.

"Hazel and i have a bad history in the past,but that had been settled right?’’Ethan cut in,Hazel was much more stubborn than he had predicted.

Why could she give him the cold shoulder even after their encounter last time?

Moreover,she was destroying whatever Sunny had for him at the moment. He could see the fear and denial in Sunny’s eyes,but that would be clarified soon.

"Yes,we are good"Hazel smiled,but that was a forced one which Sunny noticed and that doesn’t seem to calm her down either, because she’s having the worst imagination as to what the two’s relationship could be.

Zaiden was Hazel’s first boyfriend,and there’s no way she could have had a secret boyfriend without letting her know about it,Hazel can’t do that.

"Now,that’s settled,"Ethan said,moving along to wrap his arms around Sunny’s waist and that seemed to surprise her,but she couldn’t comprehend his actions right now, because that’s what she wanted.

His attention is on her, and not on Hazel whose wedding is next two days.

"How about i have you for lunch,girl,you are a full course meal"He whispered to her, and bit her ear in the process while she playfully hit his chest before sitting down.

Ethan did the same, relief washing over him that it didn’t end the way Hazel wanted it to end,how would he have convinced Sunny that he didn’t approach her without any intentions, if Hazel had pushed the conversation further?

Moreover why was he feeling bad,at the thought of Sunny misunderstanding between him and Hazel,it’s not like she was his girlfriend?

She’s not his girlfriend,but why is he doing everything possible to make her happy,starting from the time she nearly committed suicide till today.

What had Cassandra Peterson done to him?

The answer was right there in front of him,but the fear of accepting it was much more bigger than the courage of moving along with the flow.

After all,as he said, love is wicked,his mother has made him understand that,and not even Cassandra would make him change his mind about his perspective of that.

He’s not ready to fall in love,but could he withstand his feelings for the girl who was chatting and laughing with Hazel, oblivious to the fact that this was not how he intended this to happen.
