The drive back home was somehow quiet,with an unusually calm Zaiden who had not said a word, after getting his evidence that he was not in any way linked with Anna’s disappearance.

But it had been because he felt bad after hearing from Micheal,how his relationship with Anna over these years had been.

He knew it was not in any way his fault that she got involved with a jerk like Michael,but that had been solely the decision she made herself.

But yet,it wasn’t her fault,and she was not to be blamed partially.

There’s absolutely no way, she could have known how much of a monster Micheal was,she was only stuck in between the contract with his agency and hers.

But was she stupid?

Yes.

All these years of him, trying to get her to give him any reasonable explanation for not coming back to the country,had been spent with Micheal.

Who was no better than Satan himself,she had a choice,Anna had a fucking choice,she could have left.

But he had forgotten so soon that she would do anything for her career,she loved the fame,and wouldn’t do anything to put an end to that.

For the love of God,her life was much more important than fame,who knows if this had not resulted in her injuring Micheal and running away?

Maybe,by now, she could have ended up dead,which he didn’t wish for Anna.

He’s not such a heartless prick like Micheal,who would make her life a living hell just because she hasn’t gotten over her ex boyfriend.

All this would be over,if he releases this video out,which had him admitting to the crimes he did.

But Zaiden was not yet calm and relaxed, even when he had an upperhand in all that was happening,he was worried for Anna.

He should not have been caught up in these,this should have been Anna telling the truth to the public about how sick of a human Micheal was,this should have been her doing this,but she hasn’t reached out to him for the past few days.

Micheal had denied knowing of her whereabouts,even when he had a gun pointed to his forehead,and with the anger in his voice which made him know that if he lied,he was going to die at that moment.

Yet,he denied having any knowledge of where she was,which made him know that his assumption of all these were true,She had gone into hiding after stabbing Micheal.

She’s scared.

Zaiden knew that, and she needed help in these trivial moments,but what would you have him do when she was not even picking up his calls?

Adding more to his corcern for where the hell she could he,she won’t think of commiting suicide right?

Because he knew that surely tomorrow morning all doubts will be cleared,the truth would come to life and there is nothing she can do anymore to cover up and pretend nothing was going on with Micheal and her.

Detective John would be on his way right now to the hospital, if he was smart enough to know the meaning of his words he told him at the station.

There was no escape for Micheal anymore, because he had his men on standby at the hospital in case he did something funny.

Looking outside his window,he didn’t know what mood Hazel would be in,but what he knew for sure, was the fact that his baby girl would be deeply worried.

She gets the revenge she wants for what Micheal has done to her, but yet,he didn’t feel it was right doing this without her knowledge, just like the chief of staff was urging him to do that.

"I know what I’m doing, and i will really appreciate if you don’t pester me further because I’m losing my fucking mind, trying to think of where the hell Anna is!"

"She’s the one who’s supposed to do that and not the other way around,that idiot had done a lot to her and i would give her the honours of releasing this herself"

"Then how long do you intend on wasting time, when the company is in complete chaos?"He asked,he understood why he was behaving this way,but the safety of the company comes first.

"I..."Zaiden’s statement was cut short,when a knock was heard outside the car,looking out to see a guard standing outside beside the car,he knew he had something to say.

The chief of staff sighed for the interruption before letting the windows down,as Zaidem gave the guard his intention.

"I’m sorry to interrupt sir,but I’ve got a message to pass to you"The guard said, scratching his head nervously at the thoughts of Zaiden getting angry at him for keeping vital information away from him.

The letter that was given to him by that mysterious woman, who had reportedly gone missing made him know that something was definitely wrong,which made him remember her and the letter.

Although her face was not clear to him that day,he knew that she had a lot more to do when he read the news about what was happening in the company.

Which made him search for the letter,and also wait for Zaiden to be back to hand it over to him.

The Knight’s family has been good to him,so he didn’t want anything bad happening to the family that had saved him and his family.

"What sort of message?’’Zaiden asked,climbing down from the car likewise the chief of staff who was watching the duo.

The guard took out the envelope that was in his pockets ,which he didn’t have the mind to pry into what was written there and pushed it over to Zaiden.

"I was asked to give this to you by some lady two days ago,I’m so sorry for forgetting about it.please forgive me young master?"He pleaded,with his head hung low,while Zaiden took the envelope from him,not understanding what the hell he was talking about.

Tearing the edge of the envelope,to take out the paper inside out,it didn’t take long for him to understand what it was all about.

Anna.

"You..."Zaidem pointed at the guard,with his eyes still reading what was written to him by Anna.

"I’m so sorry sir"The guard apologized, thinking he was in trouble.

"Is everything okay?"The chief of staff walked over to where they were,as Zaiden grabbed the shoulders of the guard who flinched in fear.

"When did she give you this?"

"Two days ago, sir"He said,as the chief of staff has had enough of their drama.

"Who’s she?"He asked for the second time , ignoring them.

"Anna was here"Zaidem said,giving the letter to him as he took out his phone and started calling her.

"Why didn’t you bring this on time?"The chief of staff attacked the guard,who apologized.

Things wouldn’t have escalated to this extent,had it been he gave Zaiden this as soon as it was given to him.

"Shit!"Zaiden cussed,when she wasn’t picking up as usual,taking the car keys from the Chief of staff’s hands who called him to know what he was about to do.

"Please take care of Hazel"He said to him, with pleading eyes while fixing the keys into the car.

"And where exactly are you going?"

"I’m going to fix all these,"Zaiden said, looking at the guard who left.

"How exactly? she didn’t specify where exactly she is,don’t act too rash young master"He pleaded,when he couldn’t explain where and what he was trying to do.

"Just tell Hazel i would be back soon"Zaiden said lastly,before driving away to the very place he had in mind that she will be there waiting for him.
