Mason should have known,from the way she had acted and willingly followed him into his room that something was wrong.

But it wasn’t his fault anyway, because there were tons of girls who wanted him,yet his attention had been on the very woman who he shouldn’t have messed with in the first place.

Not only that,she was armed and the crazy look on her face gave him the initiative that she was in for no child’s play ,so it was up to him to play his cards well.

"So,tell me how has life been treating you after you destroyed my life?’’Sunny asked,approaching with a killer look with the gun in her hand.

"Babe,you don’t have to do this,we can talk it out okay? Just drop the gun and let’s sort this out maturely"Mason pleaded.

"Wow! But you didn’t sort out my issue with the director maturely,so give me one good reason on why i should listen to you?"Sunny laughed at his words,Mason was trying to act mature with her.

"Shut up!"She shouted, silencing him as she came to stand in front of him with a serious look on her face"Now listen Mason,you see that over there?"she asked pointing towards her phone.

"I’m recording everything and you my darling,you are going to tell the truth of what really happened and that I’m not to be blamed for all those that happened at the agency"

"Sunn..’’He wasn’t planning on listening even when she had a gun,then she cocked it and pointed it at him.

"You’ve got five seconds to start talking before i blow your head off with these"She ordered.

"You are not going to do that,you are not a killer"Mason said,trying to change her mind.

"Try me,"she dared,"Three seconds remaining,say the truth!’’She yelled,raising the gun further and saw him raising his hands up in surrender.

"I will do it,ju..just drop the gun"He finally consented,when he knew he stood no chance of leaving here alive if he didn’t give her what she wanted.

Shouldn’t his guards notice that something was wrong?

Stupid him,he had asked them to give him some privacy.

"I..I..need to pee ’’He blurted out without having the sense that her, letting him go to the bathroom to pee would require him getting free from his hold,which would give him the upper hand against her.

Having no other option, than to do as she says even though it was too embarrassing on his part, because he knew what she wanted to do with the video.

Tilting her head to the camera,he sighed before looking at the phone"I..I made a false accusations against Sunny with the help of her director at her agency"

He paused.

But her eyes directed him to be more specific,which he did listen to,after all he had exposed himself anyway so there was no need trying to conceal more information.

"I will take responsibility for all damages that may arise from this from both agencies,as like i said,Sunny is Innocent "He said lastly, With his head bowed in shame.

"Now,that wasn’t hard to do right?"She asked,while clapping her hands and sat on the bed a few meters away from Mason.

"Get these off right now!"He yelled.

"You know i used to think that you were smart,but now i know that you are much dumber than i thought"She giggled.

"What does that mean?"He demanded.

Raising the gun up while laughing at his face,she finally told him the truth:"It’s fake,how could you ever think i would have a real gun?"She asked,showing him by trying to shoot at him but nothing came out of it.

"Oh please! You started it first, anyway thanks for the clarification"She said,walking over to where she kept her phone and saved the video by sending it to her email.

In case, things don’t work out if she walks out of her and Mason, ends up taking her phone,she has to be careful.

Turning to find out that Mason was no longer on the bed,the next thing she knew, he was strangling her with the rope she used in tying his hands,which he nearly succeeded but she elbowed him in his stomach and he ended up releasing her.

He doesn’t always play fair,even after showing him that she was in no way trying to kill him in the first place,he attempted on killing her for real.

Kicking him as he grunted in pain,she heard fumblings at his door to realize that someone was coming.

Turning to Mason,who had his phone in his hands with a coy smile hanging on his lips to show her that he was the one who called for help.

"Shit!"She gave him a sucker punch at his face, and heard him groan in more pain before she hid at the back of the door.

The door was pushed open as three of his men rushed in,but they were not able to see her because she was hiding at the back of the door,just as Mason was about to point at her.

She kicked one of them that was blocking the entrance and ran out, shutting the door before escaping into the crowd,trying to look for an escape route because more of his men were still out here.

The entrance to which she came in was blocked by his men who were talking through the comms in their ears, giving her the initiative that she was stuck here.

What are you going to do Sunny?

She asked, running away from the men who saw her looking at them before scampering after her when they recognized her.

"Is this the day i die?"Sunny asked herself when looking for more escape route,she was so keen on escaping Mason’s men that she didn’t know where exactly she was going, aside from the fact that she was out of the hotel but in a more unfamiliar background.

She was pushed to some hard chest which got her screaming when she thought she had been captured,into some dark alley and covered her mouth.

"You are safe"Her saviour whispered to her, that he only got a nod as response because she was still shocked at what just happened,to even look at who saved her from those men.

"Thanks"She whispered even when she failed to realize that she was still in the arms of some stranger,which she didn’t find uncomfortable.

"Shh,they would hear you"He said, silencing her further while trying to buy enough time for Tyson to bring the car to the backyard so that they can escape.

Sunny could swear, the voice sounded familiar but she was not in a good state of mind to start thinking of where she heard the voice before.

The chiming of Ethan’s phone made her jerk from fear and more to him which got him smiling.

"We are leaving"He told her,the text messages was from Tyson letting him know that he was waiting for them.

"What if they are still there?They are dangerous"Sunny asked with her back still facing her saviour.

Was he stupid to go out there without any plan?

"I have a plan, besides I won’t let them hurt you"Ethan found himself assuring her of protection which he had never done for anyone before.

Sunny felt butterflies in her stomach over his declaration,her conscience still nagging at her to turn around and look at the man who saved her,but yet,she disagreed on doing that for reasons known to her.

"On the count of there,you run to the left while i distract them,I have a car waiting outside okay?"Ethan whispered to her, who only nodded her head,while palming her hands nervously.

"Okay"she mumbled,not believing that it would come at a time she would be this much scared of what Mason would do.

"On the count of there,one...two..three,let’s go"Ethan said, pushing her out of the dark as she started running towards the left just as he had instructed, without having a second thought of him being a kidnapper or someone much worse than Mason.

All she knew at that moment was the will to escape from here,the sound of a gunshot could be heard as they both ducked.

"Are you okay?"Ethan asked worried had this time they looked at each other, unanswered questions brewing in the air but now wasn’t the right time to do that, because a second gunshot alerted them of the danger ahead if they don’t leave here as soon as possible.

"Boss"Tyson called when he saw both of them running and entered the car to open the other doors,which they got in immediately and he drove away.

"Are you okay?"Ethan asked the second time, clutching her shoulders to check for any injuries with a worried look on his face,which he didn’t know she was busy watching him all along.

"I’m..f..ine"She stuttered,still stunned at the level of concern he had for her,when they weren’t in any way on good terms to be this way.
