Nathan’s interest in what his mother was going to do to Hazel, after he blindly refused to listen to his mother, was pinged high,when he saw her discussing with a maid who was probably a new worker here.

She also handed her some liquid in a bottle which the maid gasped and bent her hair low when she saw him.

Strangely,she looked familiar as if he’d seen her somewhere but couldn’t decipher where exactly he might have run into her.

She was gone before he could approach the two as his mother turned to face him,that cunning smile of hers that always deceives people into believing that she was an angel hanging coyly on her lips.

She was up to no good and he knew it,seeing how desperate she was to end the useless bond he had with Hazel made him think of multiple things she could do.

Lately,she had been good and did not give off any negative behaviour that might lead him and his dad, into thinking that she might be up to eating someone again.

But his guard was not down,not after her threat,she might be pretending infront of both of them only to attack when they are relaxed.

What annoyed him about his mother was the fact that she didn’t realize what danger, she was partying all of them while trying to get her revenge on Hazel.

They barely covered up the truth about her,which she didn’t appreciate or try to mellow down or try to look for ways to help herself.

But rather, she was thinking of committing another crime which he’s sure that she won’t be too lucky like the last time.

This was Hazel that was being talked about here, everyone’s obsessed about her, including him too, there’s absolutely no way she could go scot free without everyone going through extreme measures to know what happened to hers if she goes through with her plans.

But yet,she was still planning on another attack,this time it was on the family’s jewel,he had to do something before she ended up making a mistake that she would come to regret.

He didn’t want his mother doing the dirty work,he knew he was no different from her but at least he can take care of himself.

Maybe,if his mother knew that they had a lot to lose if she does what she wants to do,maybe,she could have a change of heart.

As for his mother,she needed to let go of the hate in her towards Hazel,and channel it to the people who truly deserve her hate and not to the girl,who he wanted.

Nathan knew Hazel’s reason for doing all these,every woman loves money,no matter how she claims to be a saint she would definitely fall for someone who had it all.

Which her mindset would change when she realizes that she made a mistake,soon she would know that she chose the wrong brother.

He knew that,and when she does that,the look on Zaiden’s face will be his favourite expression for the year.

"Mother,can you stop being such a kid? You know you are the only one here"Nathan told her,annoyed at her childish behaviour.

He knew that what he said got her, because her face changed immediately and the look on her face reminded him of that night,she wanted to eat him too.

Okay maybe he went too far.

"I see, you are still being foolish with your one sided love triangle?"She asked,smiling while shaking her head at her son’s stupid fantasy of liking Hazel.

"Mother seriously,you have to..."

"But i must warn you Nathan Knights,you are treading on dangerous grounds,I trained you to choose wisely"She said attempting to leave,but she was grabbed by him.

"What did you give her? Who’s she?"He asked adamantly, ignoring her warning one more time."Do you want to poison Hazel?"

He didn’t know if it was stupidity, or simply blinded in love with Hazel that he didn’t realize the repercussions of his actions.

"What?"Sophia couldn’t believe her ear,she was unhappy that he was finding out what she was planing bit by bit.

Maybe she went too soft on him,for him not to realize who his mother really was,has he forgotten so soon?

"You heard me right?what ...."Nathan’s statement wasn’t completed, before his face was turned to the other side as a result of the slap his mother gave him right now.

"Don’t make me hate you Nathan,you are my son but i won’t remember that in our next conversation if there’s still no changes in you"She spat lastly and tugged her hands free from his hold,leaving the stunned Nathan.

This was the very first time his mother raised her hands on him,as much as he was still trying to believe that she was going to change her mind,he knew that she was not doing that any time soon.

Sophia Knights is determined, dangerous, determined and this was bad.

His cell phone started ringing,that he was in no mood to talk to anyone had it been it was not Eric that was calling.

"What is it Eric?"

"There’s a problem boss"Eric replied,things were starting to go down the hill.
