"Now,you should have seen his face when I had to punch him hard for what he did, everyone was like omg he deserved that"Sunny said, bursting out into laughter as Hazel and Mrs.Knights joined too.
"You are so funny"
It was such a really enjoyable moment for Mrs.Knights,because she had just gotten attached to Sunny in just a day and had commented to Hazel on how lovely her friend was .
The designer had come hours ago and had done the needful,Sunny being the over excited about all these couldn’t stop talking about how really gorgeous Hazel would look like on her special day.
Just like her Mother-in-law, who had served them lunch with the same eating pattern in the morning for Hazel, Sunny could testify to what Hazel had explained earlier the reason for her asking for the chicken.
What shocked Hazel about Sunny’s character,was the fact that she sided with Mrs.Knights over her when Avery had explained the new eating pattern.
"It’s good for your body, seriously babe, ’’Sunny said, looking away from Hazel who had an unbelievable look on her face.
Was she siding with her or with her new friend?
Having no other option, since the only person who would take her side no matter what,Zaiden,was not here,she ate lunch.
Surprisingly, Zaiden’s number was not connecting when she called him,he had gone back on his promise to be calling her every hour to make sure she was okay,to which she had concluded that he was probably busy.
Knowing that today was going to be a stressful day for inviting Sunny to the house,she had gone ahead to force her to show her around the house which had been an excuse to talk to her when they were alone.
"You are really living a Barbie life,I’m so happy for you"Sunny said,almost crying while she hugged Hazel.
"Oh! Stop saying that,I’m going to cry"Hazel begged,she didn’t want to think of the fact that very soon she would become a married woman.
Recalling back to their discussion in the sitting room,Hazel knew that there was more to the story of Mason which Sunny told them earlier.
Besides,she didn’t talk about having any appointments today when she had called her to come over,which was suspicious because Sunny is always on a schedule and she had actually thought she wouldn’t make it today.
"So,what’s it about you and Mason? You know I’m not a fool to believe all those you said in there,what’s the real catch?"Hazel said, folding her hands and looking at the perplexed Sunny who was stunned at how fast Hazel was learning.
Finally,her friend was finally learning, because Hazel wasn’t one to catch on jokes which she had mixed with lies.
She just didn’t know when she’s trying to keep any secrets away from her,but it seems she had gotten quite matured and more exposure had made her get smarter.

"How did you know i wasn’t telling the entire truth? Because girl,you’ve gotten smarter!"Sunny exclaimed.
Hazel laughed at her words,which she was surprised too at the way she could pick out the lies from Sunny’s words.Sunny can be really good at hiding her words especially moulding her lies with the truth whenever she didn’t want one interfering in her life.
"Let’s just say,I know that you actually said that because you needed someone to talk to about the whole ordeal,Who exactly was at fault this time?"
"Me"Sunny said,as they both stopped walking to stand in the hallway leading to the pool outside."like i was really stupid again to believe that i would get lucky and fall in love like you,but i guess it doesn’t work that way"Sunny explaied bitterly.
"Sunnyyy"Hazel called,feeling pity all of a sudden at her words.
She didn’t like the fact that she was blaming herself for a failed relationship,when it’s obvious from the very first beginning that Mason wasn’t genuine.
Although,Sunny knew that,but had ignored all the signs,she shouldn’t blame herself for doing something stupid for love,she too was no exceptional to all this.
If Sunny knew what she had to go through in the name of love,then maybe she would stop blaming herself and allow everything to flow naturally.
Who knows?
Breaking up with Mason,might have been a blessing in disguise for her to actually find someone who’s hundred percent better that’s going to love her massively.
"No,I clearly saw the signs,but i was too obsessed with getting my life fixed just like yours,it’s not my fault that i wanted to be like you,I mean you were lucky,but I.."
"You stop that Cassandra"Hazel called her by her real name to let her know she was serious.
"The mistake has been made,we just need to hope and be careful that it doesn’t repeat itself,now cheer up there going to be lots of hot guys coming to ny wedding,who knows what fate has in-store for you my maid of honor?"Hazel teased and found Sunny eyes widened when she realized the truth in what she was saying.
"God! Why didn’t I think of that?"Sunny asked no one in particular."Sunny,you are so stupid"She said giving herself a knock on her head and yelped in pain as both ladies bursted out laughing at her stupidity.
"So,you tell me what’s going on with you?’’Sunny asked this time,when she remembered it was not only about the wedding that she wanted to see her today.
She had a lot of questions which were important she had to ask Hazel.
"What’s going on like what?"Hazel returned the question.
Sighing at her clumsiness which she actually thought have left Hazel,Sunny placed her hands on her shoulder while staring into her eyes.
"What exactly is going on with a murder threat on your head,who exactly killed that guard?"
"Oh that! that’s not actually in my place to tell Sunny,you see it’s really private and it’s best I don’t tell you the whole truth now"
"Yeah,says someone who’s trying to protect a family that couldn’t protect her enough to face someone on the lookout,to kill you"
"Sunny stop, that’s not true"Hazel corrected her,but she raised her hands in surrender.
"Yeah,yeah,she’s defending her family,but the truth still remains the same,I don’t trust these people, ’’Sunny told her in a serious tone,while looking at her confused face.
Walking up to hold her hands in her own,she saw the way Hazel was trying hard not to take everything she said seriously,but she had no option but to do that,this was her life they were talking about.
Someone is trying to kill her,the best she could do is to open her eyes more and see beyond what others are seeing.
"I’m not trying to say that it might be one of them Hazel,but I’m just trying to let you know that everything won’t be okay if anything bad happens to you,I won’t let them go Scot free"
"The police are trying their best Sunn.."
"That’s what they always say,until you are dead"
"I’m not going to die, at least not for now"Hazel tried explaining to her that she was safe.
Yeah,there was definitely nothing that was going to take her life if her time wasn’t up,but she adored Sunny for her concern for her.
"Not for now? Are you trying to die later?"Sunny asked with raised eyebrows not understanding Hazel.
Did the food she ate affect her brain or something?
Realizing her mistake,Hazel smiled,"No,not at all you misunderstood Sun"
"Okay,but regardless of the police,You need to be extremely careful,I don’t know the reason for all of this and i can’t tell you to leave Zaiden,but please you have to be careful okay?"
"I will"Hazel smiled, rubbing her palms lovingly"
Giving out a deep breath at Hazel’s words,she nodded her head and looked at the figure that has been giving them creepy looks since she came here.
The first had been in the sitting room, Hazel was oblivious to her attitude but she was sure that something was definitely wrong with her.
"Who exactly is that? And why does she give me those creepy stares since i came here"Sunny found herself asking when she couldn’t take it anymore.
She didn’t like the way everything here was odd,the only person who was normal was Hazel’s mother-in-law,the rest was acting strangely and oozing off the boogeyman vibes.
"Who exactly.."Hazel asked, turning to find Sophia,staring at them with a glass of wine in her hand, the usual creepy smile plastered hard on her face while looking away from the two.
"That’s Nathan’s mom,you know him"Hazel explained as Sunby folded her arms while staring at the woman,too seriously.
"I don’t like her,"She said.
"Yeah,me too,nobody does"Hazel added, laughing and saw Sunny still looking concentratedly at Sophia.
"There’s something off about her,for a start,I think she’s the murderer everyone is searching for because she gives me those bad energy"Sunny blurted out,maybe too loudly for Sophia to hear because she turned and glared at her viciously.
"Sunny seriously?’’Hazel couldn’t believe Sun,it’s just her first time meeting her and she’s just laying accusations on her.
Sophia might be giving off bad energy,but she has been that way since she knew her,Sunny was just overreacting because of the threat on her head.
"What? I’m just saying my mind,she’s definitely the criminal"
"No she’s not okay,she’s just that way"
"Well,if you say so,but still you have to learn to trust less, and observe more,that might be the key to unraveling all that’s happening"
"Copy sir"Hazel saluted her"you know you would make a good detective?"
"Thanks but i will pass,it’s boring"Sunny said looking at her watch."it’s time i leave,I have an appointment"
"Just as i had always thought"Hazel said"let’s go"
"It’ was nice coming here though"Sunny said, turning to leave,while Hazel smiled, turning back to still see Sophia looking at them.
Okay,now that’s weird.

Sunny’s words echoed,but she ignored it. Sunny might be right and calculative sometimes,but this time she’s wrong about her assumption.
It definitely was not Sophia.
