365 Days To Love-Chapter 126 - ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-SIX:The Fight In The Sitting Room.
Mrs.Knights couldn’t believe that it would actually come to a day,that her son would accuse his grandpa falsely.
Zaiden has always been his favourite likewise, grandpa too,but now,things have changed,Hazel is his concern now.
Not that she was complaining,she knew exactly what would happen if it was true that Nathan was the one behind this.
Things have gotten more complicated than it already was,a murderer was on the loose who no one knows who exactly he was,and now Nathan was also a suspect in Hazel’s incident.
Zaiden wouldn’t report this to the cops right,it was alarming that the family had become more open to the public pertaining the murder that occurred.
So,she wouldn’t like her son to add more to their frustration by reporting Nathan to the cops,things can be handled without them letting outsiders know.
They were a family,but she had forgotten so soon that Sophia and her family didn’t think of them the same way she regards them.
If eventually,It comes out that Nathan’s was the one behind this,she too was not going to take it lightly with him,he nearly killed someone.
He nearly killed Hazel,her daughter in-law.
Although it was a bad time for them,she couldn’t promise not to act, maybe more than Zaiden once the truth comes out.
What If it wasn’t Nathan?
She’s scared that maybe someone was playing with their mind,what if it was someone else who wanted Nathan to take the blame?
Yes,Nathan can be a bit annoying,but She knew Elijah was the one who would he stupid enough to try such a thing.
But it was confirmed he never left the house,he was taking care of sick Sophia,which leaves all suspicion on Nathan who also didn’t come back home yesterday.
It was of no use asking him where Nathan was,Elijah was such a snake,he knew what was going on around here after she was filled in by Ezekiel about what’s going around the house
Was she doing a mistake by trying to deny the fact that it was Nathan?
She had never for once doubted Zaiden,and seeing how he’s keen on his claims that it was Nathan,what if it’s true?
Her son wasn’t heartless to try framing his brother up, although they weren’t on good terms that does not mean that he would actually frame Nathan for what he didn’t do.
Avery was scared.
She was scared of what’s going to come out of this investigation. If the truth comes out,coupled with the determination on her son’s face,she knows he’s not going to give up until he finds out what exactly is going on.
How did things turn worse?
She didn’t actually know that bringing the young lady,into her family was also signing her to death, someone was after her life, for what reasons?
She heard the sound of a cup slamming down hard on the table, as she walked into the sitting room on Sophia grasping the cup angrily while staring into thin air.
What made her more anxious to know what exactly was going was the look on her face,she looked extremely angry,but did she care?
No.
It was already annoying that she was the only person on the sitting room,she needed space and a time of think of what exactly to handle the situation,walking in on Sophia was such a bad moment because it won’t be long before she starts to annoy her.
For someone who was sick she looked really healthy,but that was no concern of hers to ask if truly she was sick, Sophia wouldn’t appreciate her asking anyway.
So she did what she had to do and what she has always been doing. Whenever she’s in no mood to see or talk to her,she ignored her entire existence.
Walking up to the table where her phone was,she knew she noticed her presence because the look on her face and the hold on the cup loosened.
"I heard she had an accident?That’s too bad for someone whose wedding is around the corner"Sophia asked, more like mocked Avery who tried to ignore her.
But the look on her face ,coupled with the thoughts of her son being the one behind the incident,had her talking back to her annoying sister-in-law.
"That does not change the fact that the wedding would be cancelled, She’s still getting married to Zaiden and not to some shameless crush"Avery said bitterly,as Sophia’s eyebrows were raised in a questioning manner when she took the hint of what she meant by shameless crush.
She was mocking Nathan.
It took everything in Sophia not to strangle her to death,well there’s nobody right her with them and she bet if she looked strong as her tongue was,but when she remembered that there were Cctv everywhere including the secret ones Elijah had told her about,she waved the idea off.
But still, she still craved to see the living day light seeping out of her body under her hands as she struggled against her hold.
It would be such a sweet feeling if she gets to kill Avery,the motherfucker has always been her rebel since the very first beginning.
It was so annoying getting up everyday,to see her taunting face as the old man ran praises on her every godforsaken minute in her presence,that she wondered why she killed the guard instead of Avery.
But there was still time to do that.
They were all ganging up on her son, accusing him falsely over what he didn’t do,Nathan wasn’t the one who did it.
Yes,she might be insane to have killed someone but her son wasn’t like her,he’s different and she wouldn’t tolerate anyone trying to turn him into the monster she is, when he’s just normal like his dad.
It won’t happen,not on her watch,even if it has to guarantee the life of every single soul in this house,she would kill them all.
Nathan was her baby,not a murderer.
She tried eavesdropping on their conversation,which was futile,she didn’t seem to remember that all rooms here were sound proofed.
But what do you want her to do? She’s a mother and she had heard Elijah cursing bitterly this morning, while talking to someone on the phone about the dire situation in the family house right now.
She knew instantly it had to do with Nathan,because Elijah wouldn’t trouble or try to carry whatever it was that wasn’t about her or his son’s in his mind, except if it was about the company.
What made her more vexed, was the fact that her son was in love with the very same girl she was trying to eliminate,she knew Hazel staying here was going to bring more problems just like she had foreseen the first time she came.
And now,it has to do with her baby, Nathan,he’s coveting what does not belong to him,Hazel was not even up to his standard,so the reason why Zaiden and Nathan want her was something she couldn’t understand.
Nathan knew too well that there’s nothing good about her that she liked,but he had gone ahead to fall for her.So gross!
"Take it back"She simply ordered watching Avrgy with cold hateful eyes,who was she to call her son shameless?
How dare she?
"In your dreams"Avery mocked,turning to leave but the witch stood up to drag her back to meet her face which scared her abit.
What the hell was wrong with her?
"What the fudge Sophia! What’s wrong with you?"she asked,retracting her arm from Sophia’s tight grip,it was already hurting where she grabbed her.
"You need to stop talking about my son as if he’s some murderer"Sophia threatened,taking some locks of her hair into her hands as Avery winced in sheer pain.
"You are crazy Sophia,let go!"She yelled and grabbed at her hand,but she wasn’t in any way trying to heed to her warnings which led her too to grab Sophia’s dark locks tightly,maybe more tightly than hers which got her screaming like some banshee.
"Does it hurt you crazy bitch?"Avery mocked as she tugged at hers,making Sophia lose her balance and fall on the tiled floor,finally releasing her hair.
"I will kill you!"She cried,touching her hair to check if she pulled any from the scalp.
Uh!So dramatic.
Avery should have known who Sophia was and how she tries to look as the pitiful one in any situation.
Well,she might have gone too few, because she noticed some of her hair on her hands as she cried loudly.
"I will kill you all!"She yelled as she took the pillow on the chair and threw it towards Avery who ducked immediately while watching her behave insanely.
How would she even kill her when she doesn’t even match her strength in a common fight?
"Okay that’s enough, I’m sorry"Avery took pity on her,when she remembered she was sick and had to bend down to her level to help her up.
But it was such a bad idea, because Sophia grabbed her hand and bit on it painfully that she was sure her skin would come off which got her screaming.
"Sophia!"Avery heard someone’s hasty footsteps and yelling before Sophia pulled back,her teeth stained with her blood while glaring at her.
