365 Days To Love-Chapter 110 - ONE HUNDRED AND TEN:He Won’t Be The Rejected Stone.
"Where is he?’’Elijah questioned Eric the moment he stepped out of Nathan’s room to find it empty.
A serious conversation was needed between the two of them, because he doesn’t know what exactly that son of his was up to.
Moment ago he had gone ahead to disgrace him by openly conversing with Zaiden about Hazel. What the hell does he think he was doing by trying to take his brother’s fianceè?Moreover, someone who had proven to be more of a threat to their plans than a helper.
"He stepped out a few minutes ago,I don’t know where exactly"Eric replied,studying the man in front of him,he had his hand fisted tight, that it didn’t go unnoticed to him that he was angry and definitely his boss, Nathan was the cause of it.
"That idiot,he should pray i don’t find him anytime soon"He said, before leaving Eric who was busy with a phone call before he interrupted.
Storming angrily to his room,he could hear the laughter that was coming from insides,needless to say that he was keen on finding that stupid son of his,he had walked into the lion’s den on his own.
The door was opened with hasty hands and he saw him talking to his mother,smiling as if it was not him that was not downstairs some minutes ago dragging over some girl.
"Babe, you are here"Sophia was the first to speak up when she noticed his presence in the room, unfortunately she was not able to notice that he was not in a good mood.
Nathan laughter died immediately he heard his mother call to his dad,he knew that he was not in a good mood after what he did downstairs so there was no need trying to hide,that’s why he came to his room directly.
Luckily,his mother was back to herself after what she did,but there was still a little bit of suspicion because along with the sweet conversation he had earlier been discussing with her,her mood changed for a bit when she was asked exactly how she got to be this way.
He wasn’t afraid of his mother as much as his dad was fidgeting about the whole issue,it’s just a sickness with her and it can be cured without sending her to some facility,which was going to be the last option as long as he’s still alive.
Elijah closes the door and walks up to them with slow footsteps while keenly observing Nathan who has refused to look at him or acknowledge his presence.
He knew exactly what he did wrong and was now feeling remorseful for what he did right?
He was just playing a prank on Zaiden and not serious about what he did earlier, right? I mean, he’s used to seeing him play a fast one on the soft hearted Zaiden who always fell prey to his games,so it was definitely a prank he was playing on him.
But why is he acting out of himself if it’s just a game?
Elijah’s conscience battled with him,that as much as the man was trying hard not to listen to that voice,that was saying that Nathan was dead serious moments ago,about what he said to Zaiden was not true.
"Babe what exactly is wrong? Why are you staring at Nathan that way?’’The chatterbox, called his wife was in cue to ask immediately when she noticed the bad energy in the room.
Both father and son were behaving strangely, especially Elijah, who has been behaving annoyingly since yesterday.
"What was that you did downstairs?"Elijah referred to Nathan, who turned to stare at him for a bit,a proud smirk plastered on his face that Elijah felt like slapping it off him immediately.
Does he think he was here to joke with him?
If he had known this was how Nathan would try to spoil his plans all because of a lady,he should have insisted on him staying abroad to take care of the branch office there rather than being a headache to him.
"What was what? What exactly is going on you two"Sophia demanded.
"He knows better than to avoid this question because i won’t hesitate to have him sent back if he’s going to spoil my plans,read my lips"Elijah thundered,coming close to him but Sophia stepped in between them.
The last thing she needed now was a fight between her two babies, although she doesn’t know what exactly they were talking about,still,she won’t let them fight.
She had suspected something was wrong with Nathan, because whenever he was confused he always came to talk things out with her,but he never really said anything pertaining to this conflict he was having with his dad.
"He’s not going anywhere Elijah,we have talked about this,Nathan belongs here and definitely not going anywhere"She stamped her order,while Elijah smirked at her protecting her son, when she didn’t know what was going on in that crooked mind of his.
Definitely if she hears that her son was in love with the same girl,which she wants to murder,she will eat him first before eating up Hazel.
Nathan being the manipulative and cunning human being he was, hasn’t said anything pertaining to what he did rather hiding at the back of his mother as if he was innocent.
There’s nothing innocent about him when he also the same person who released the picture to the press,not only was he stupid to contact a reporter without placing securities around him for protection,had it been he has not earlier heard his dad telling the chief of staff to search about the reporter,he would have been in serious trouble.
What made him more angry was at how low minded he was,it seems as if he was affected by Hazel that he doesn’t think right or do anything right anymore,the single task he had given him to get Arianna on their side,he couldn’t do it but rather,wasting time by dragging a lady with Zaiden.
He didn’t train him up to he that way,he wouldn’t be his son if he’s this way because he didn’t see any exact resemblance between the both of them,he doesn’t think or act the way he does, everything he does was just the way his mother does things,he’s just a carbon copy of his wife.
"If I can recall i don’t see where it’s written that i have to explain my personal life to you"Nathan’s first words were this,which stunned both Elijah and Sophia.
"Baby"Sophia called with wide eyes, something was wrong with him, for him to talk to his dad in this manner.
"What!’’Elijah exclaimed in total puzzlement.``Do you know exactly what you have done? Do you know how hard it was, trying to act like i didn’t know about all this, earlier after you confessed your love in front of my dad!"
"Wait a minute? Who confessed what ’’Sophia asked stepping away from the middle to stare at Elijah before lastly looking at Nathan,whose face was beaming with anger,but at who?
"It seems you don’t know yet,he didn’t tell you yet?"Elijah asked,watching Nathan clench his fist in anger.
Oh! He hadn’t told his mother yet,knowing how she was going to react to this funny news, but yet he had gone ahead to develop feelings for their enemies.
"Tell me what? You need to stop with the games and tell me exactly what is going on!"she yelled at Elijah who only smirked before she turned to Nathan "is there something you aren’t telling mummy?"she demanded,watching as he found it hard to speak.
She walked over to cup his face to look directly into his eyes"tell me Baby,what’s going on? Did you do something bad? Did anyone hurt you? You know i will take care of them so tell me?"she begged.
Elijah rolled his eyes at their action which he found irritating,Nathan was a full grown man but yet she was treating him as if he was still a kid which was the problem.
She had spoiled him beyond comparison as a kid which was still affecting him till now,he just couldn’t wait to hear him tell her what it was.
"Enough already Sophia,your little boy loves Hazel ’’Elijah finally let the cat out of the bag,as Sophia’s countenance changed immediately.
"You must be kidding,this is some joke Elijah, Nathan wouldn’t do that right?"She laughed before turning to Nathan who looked away immediately.
"It seems you trust the words of your son over mine,now tell me why would i joke with something like this when he’s the one who you should be asking that foolish question to?!"He snapped at Sophia.
"Enough of it already dad,I know what i’m doing!"Nathan spoke up this time,while his mom was still shocked at the new revelation which seems to leave her short of words to speak.
"Go tell that to the blind,I saw everything Nathan, which gives me no other option than to get a wife for you"He said the words that made both mother and son send him a cold glare,that if eyes were guns,he would have been dead already.
"You are dreaming if you think, I’m going to let you force some girl on me just like you guys did to Zaiden,wake up dad I’m Nathan"He said,taking what he said as a joke which it wasn’t, judging by the look on his dad’s face. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

"Both of you stop it! Stop it already!"Sophia yelled as the two turned to look at the raging woman,looking back at each other to converse with their eyes in case she lost control again.
"No,you need to warn your husband to stop meddling in my private life!"Nathan warned,which totally surprised Sophia at his outburst too.
This was the first time he was raising his voice at her,it was occasional these days for Elijah,but today was a first for Nathan.
"Nathan"she called.
He didn’t respond; rather he walked away from the both of them in anger, halfway to leaving their room.
"I hope you know you are digging your own grave, if you think I’m going to tolerate you going astray from the plans,you know me better Nathan"Elijah reminded him,Incase he had forgotten so soon.
"Don’t worry,I don’t plan on falling into that grave anytime soon"He said,and with this left the room, hitting the door which closed with a loud bang.
His life has already been fucked up right from the very first moment he was born into this family,and God knows it was in his hands to make everything better for him.
Unfailingly,this time,Nathan won’t be the rejected stone after he’s done with Zaiden.
It’s a promise which he’s going to fulfill.
