"It’s nice doing business with you"Antonio said with all smiles while shaking hands with his business partner.
"I will talk it over with Mr.Brown"The man replied,before exiting his office with his secretary.
"Gosh!"Antonio sighed tiredly,while falling deeper into his swivel chair,turning to stare at the busy city once again from the twenty floor where his office was.
These days he had immersed himself in work, while trying not to be more of a burden to Ethan than he already was,the last few days of him reminiscing about his love,bella.
Truthfully,it hurts knowing fully well that she was despising him for what he did to her,she had a good heart which he’s not so sure of anymore,would she forgive him when he finds her?
Karma had caught up with Lydia after years of lying against Isabella,she had lost her pregnancy which has been the main reason Thomas got married to her.
She got pregnant for him even before they got married,it wasn’t after two years of her ganging up with Nora, Isabella’s step sister who claimed of her affair with her ex boyfriend Cain, before losing her pregnancy.
Since then,things got complicated which leads to her being unstable to get pregnant for now, Thomas being the jerk of a husband he was,duped her of some money and ran off to another country.
Isabella’s stepsister,Nora died of some family disease which was hereditary in their family,which wasn’t of any concern to him because she got what she deserved.
He didn’t need anyone, to tell him that what they did to that innocent lady had come back to backfire on them, because his own punishment was far worse than theirs.
The insomnia for twenty four years was not enough,coupled with years of him seeing her constantly in his dreams if he falls asleep with the help of the drugs.
He’s going down daily, and the only cure to this was seeing Isabella and getting her to forgive him once again.
He made a terrible mistake, which Ezekiel had earlier warned him about but rather he chose to listen to Elijah,who had cut all ties with him after a heated argument between them.
Talking about the Knights,he saw the news about them this morning,he wasn’t heartless like Elijah not to call and ask what exactly was happening.
Although they were not on good talking terms anymore,it still doesn’t justify the fact that they were once family;he had earlier called Ezekiel to wish him congratulations on his son’s wedding.
It’s been a while since they last saw each other, everyone was now busy with work and family, surprisingly, Ezekiel had invited him out for a drink to make out for old times sake tonight.
He wondered how much he had aged alongside Avery, Isabella’s close friend, Avery stopped talking to him after hearing about what he did to bella.
Everyone was now against him,aside from Ethan who didn’t know that the fault of his mother, abandoning him and leaving with his sister was his fault.
He wasn’t ready yet to tell him about what he did,Ethan was more like him,he wouldn’t hesitate to leave him too just like his mother did,and this wasn’t happening anytime soon.
"Sir,I have good News"His secretary,Ian, came in without knocking. The look on his face was enough evidence that his boss was going to like what he was about to say.
It’s been twenty four good years of him waiting earnestly for this news.
"What good news?"He turned to look into Ian’s face and before he could make out exactly what all this was all about,Ian said.
"Reports came in that Madam was seen at the airport two days ago,she’s back in the country sir"Ian said, giving him the enveloped files in his hands.
Antonio wasn’t ready to believe what Ian said yet,so,he took the flies from his table and tore it open,before him were pictures of Isabella, Isabella Sinclair,his wife.
The years of being apart doesn’t change any single thing about her,if anything she looked more younger and beautiful than she was before leaving.
She had changed,and what he noticed was the guards at her back that took her luggage, something was wrong somewhere.
Who are they?
Isabella wasn’t one who loved the attention,and disliked it even while leaving with them,he studied her dressing and noticed that there had been few changes about her.
He had left her without any money when he chased her out of the house,due to his stupidity,but seeing her now,she looked rich, beautiful, rich.
Was she married?
No!
She won’t just throw what they had together,away that casually and forget about her children to get married to another man,his bella was anything but not heartless to do so.
She knew quite well that he was looking for her,so exposing her identity was not something that she would do if she’s trying to hide away from him,unless she wanted him to find her.
She looked more brave,and the aura that she carried was enough for him to know that she was no longer the timid,shy and scared Isabella she was,staring back at the pictures in his hands,she looked intimidating, beautifully intimidating.
What made him more confused about the picture,was the absence of his daughter which, he’s sure was not true about what his mind was telling him.
Recalling back to his previous conversation with Ian about her and their daughter,he remembered him talking about her not seen with a child.
Was it a possibility that she left the child here and left the country?
She knew too well that she had no other relatives other than Nora who was long dead,and Nora would be the last person she would give her child to,before leaving the country.
How did she get the money to leave the country?
Did she sell their child?
His mind was lying,she won’t do that,it’s not possible!

Looking up at Ian, while holding the pictures as if it was the real Isabella he was holding.
"Did you figure out exactly what county she went to? Was a child seen with her? He asked and then mumbled to himself,"No,she would be grown up by now"
"Was a girl seen with her?"
"I’m afraid not sir,our men were sure about their reports that she was the only person that came out,before these men showed up"
"Her name?"
"She changed her name, Isabella Brown ’’Ian said, feeling pity for his boss,he has been the one around him this whole time to know what pains he was passing through just because of his wife.
Although he too,didn’t know what exactly transpired between the two of them , it was a big scandal after she left the country,that she abandoned her family and took one of the twins away.
But judging from how his boss was looking for his wife,it was now clear to him that it was not the entire truth that the public knew about the madam’s disappearance,seeing how keen he was about finding her.
"Isabella Brown ’’Antonio mumbled to himself, the name sounding foreign and acidic to his lips.
Did she really remarry?
"Mrs.Isabella Brown to be exact sir"Ian completed his suspicion for him,as he sat down in his chair while deep in thought.
Isabella Brown.
Who exactly did she get married to?
"Did you have her followed after leaving the airport?"He asked,looking up at Ian who had his head bowed.
He didn’t.
"I’m sorry sir,but we really couldn’t keep up with her,it was as if she knew she was being followed,so we lost track of her in the traffic,but we are still working on finding her"
"It’s okay,keep up the good work,don’t hesitate to tell me if you need any help"Antonio sent a brief smile to him,as he nodded his head before leaving the man to his thoughts.
Isabella Brown.
Antonio whispered.
The name sounded familiar.
Why does he have a bad feeling about all this new information he got, his wife who he wasn’t divorced with was now married to an unknown stranger whose identity is hidden.
If she really got married, why didn’t she stay where she was before? Why did she come back to the Country and alert him of her arrival?
What exactly does she want?
Where was their daughter?
Did she come back for her?
Who exactly did she get married to?
Moreover,she knew quite well,they weren’t divorced yet and had gone ahead to remarry. Does her new husband know of her past?
He was annoyed over this new information, Isabella belonged to him but he’s on the verge of losing her if he doesn’t find her this time around.
He’s going to find her.
Whether or not she was married wasn’t of any use to him because she knew him quite well to mess with him,as much he was at fault for her leaving,she has no right to get married.
She’s Isabella Sinclair and not Isabella Brown.
He’s going to find her and once he does,he will fix everything back to how it was before he messed up.
Her place was by his side,with Ethan and their daughter,and not with another man.
"Isabella Sinclair,I’m coming for you"He said, staring at an empty space while his mind was occupied with what strategy he had to take to find her.
What is important was that she was back in the country and this time,he wasn’t letting her go this time around.
