365 Days To Love-Chapter 103 - ONE HUNDRED AND THREE:His Son Was Finally In Love.
Zaiden left feeling something tugged in his chest after seeing his mother and Hazel talk about why she’s been acting out of herself lately.
It hasn’t actually crossed his mind to ask about who her parents were,the only information he has was she’s an orphan but after hearing and seeing her break down,he felt angry,sad and a lot much worse at her parents who abandoned her.
Although he doesn’t have any right to ask her about who her real parents were,he still felt bad after seeing her cry.
This was the first time a woman’s tears made him feel something aside from that of his mother,not that he had seen his mother cry,seeing Hazel’s tears did something to him.
He had left earlier after declaring to her what exactly he had in mind towards her,she had doubted him because she knew exactly how manipulative he was, but he’s serious this time.
Reflecting on his actions towards the poor girl,he knew how much of a jerk he had been to her,but he meant it when he said he would win her heart,he would fix things back to how they were supposed to be, with Hazel at his side.
He couldn’t forget the pain he saw on her face while talking about her parents, although he doesn’t know the exact reasons why she didn’t want to find them.
He knew she was lying,as much as she put on this brave facade that she didn’t want to see them,he knew she was lying.
It won’t be a bad idea to find her parents.
His conscience said.
What exactly and how exactly can he start looking for them,when she herself knows nothing or has anything that belongs to them,he’s not going to lie,it’s going to be hard doing that, but he’s going to try, for his girl.
Talking about winning her heart, that’s another difficult task that was on his shoulder right now,she wasn’t willing to trust him and noticed the scorn and doubt on her face when he had confessed earlier that he’s ready for her.

He asked himself,this was actually the first time after years he’s stopping himself so low for a woman,the second woman,he just hopes it doesn’t backfire on him.
He knew how difficult it was getting over Anna,he wouldn’t like to go through that phase anymore,and it was at that point that she came into his life,when he’s still recovering from the pains Anna gave him.
It wasn’t entirely his fault that he couldn’t see the goodness and difference in Hazel,I mean,he was only trying to protect himself not to get hurt again.
Nevertheless, he has made up his mind to focus on Hazel and get her to believe that he meant it when he said that he’s got to win her heart.
Taking out his ringing phone from his pockets,he sighed when he saw who was calling,he had forgotten so soon that they had an appointment this evening with Luke.
"What the hell! Are you guys not coming again?’’His loud voice made Zaiden remove the phone from his ears for some moments before placing it back.
It’s obvious he had stayed there for hours without seeing them, knowing who Luke was, he’s definitely not going to like what he’s about to do.
"We can’t be able to make it today,am sorry man"Zaiden apologized, touching his temple,he had a slight headache,well,who wouldn’t have one after what happened today in the family house.
"Seriously you are no fun!"Luke sighed"Do you know how excited i was about seeing our wife today?"He teased knowing Zaiden was not a fan of that term he used in addressing Hazel, slightly irritated but he compose himself"what exactly made you guys not to come again?"
"Hazel’s sick"Zaiden simply said,his back leaning against the wall while answering Luke’s call.
He wanted to cut it soon because he wasn’t in the mood for Luke’s annoying ass,but decided not to after what he did to him.
Well,he said the truth,she’s sick and had not earlier considered this when he saw his message earlier to remind him of the dinning tonight.
He didn’t want Luke seeing the marks he left on her body, knowing who he was,he won’t mind reprimanding him in front of Hazel,it seems like his friend has sharp eyes to know that Hazel wasn’t like Anna and had advices him earlier to start treating her right,but he couldn’t see anything past the anger he had over the girl for trying to mess with his life just the way Anna did.
"Sick?"Luke paused for a bit"Wait a minute,is she pregnant?Darm! You actually did it without telling me?"He cried.
Zaiden facepalm himself,this is the exact reason why he’s been avoiding Luke, he’s so dramatic and can’t take anything serious for once.
What does sickness have to with her getting pregnant?
He hasnt even reached to that extent of intimacy with her aside from the constant teasing which she liked even though she’s a pretender that she doesn’t.
Besides,he doesn’t see himself being a father anytime soon,the commitment and stress that comes with having a child wasn’t for him right now.
He knew his mom and grandpa would slap him so hard to reset his brain if he eventually told them what he felt about having a baby,but it wasn’t possible now.
He simply isn’t ready for that,he’s still gradually trying to be the perfect soon to be husband to Hazel,so a baby would have to wait for now.
But the joy of her carrying his baby and seeing her stomach grow big with his child made him feel something,but it would have to wait for now.
"Is she?’’Luke’s over-excited voice brought him out of his thoughts. How exactly did he get himself a best friend like him?
"Yes she is,infact the baby has started showing that’s why you haven’t seen her that much"Zaiden exaggerated further, knowing fully well his stupid ass friend would fall for his word that easily.
"Seriously?Tell me when am i going to see her?How about tomorrow?You didn’t tell me you have gotten this far with her?When exactly do you plan on getting married?"Like attacked him further with silly questions,aside from the last one which he stopped for a while to consider.
"Are you that stupid or you simpy like to believe everyword that comes out of my mouth?"Zaiden said and that’s when he noticed the excitement die down on Luke’s face,what he would pay to see the look on his face right now.
Pregnant!
He’s such a dreamer.
Even if he wants to see her get pregnant with his baby,what about if she doesn’t want to have babies?
She already has a bad past about parenthood,so, he doubts if actually she wanted to have kids.
Hazel.
"Wait! Were you joking with me?"
"No.why would i?"Zaiden asked sarcastically.
"Aish seriously!I thought you finally did it, don’t tell me you are still making that pretty girl cry because i know exactly who you are"Luke lectured,he knew how heartless Zaiden could be, and seeing that he hasn’t actually done the deed with her means that he’s still making her life a living hell.
"Okay,times up!mom’s calling ,talk to you later"Zaiden blurted out and cut the call before he could say any more word.
Luke wasn’t his mother and he has already learnt his lessons already, and didn’t needed him too telling him how bad of a person he is for what he did to Hazel,his mother has already nagged him to the point of exhaustion.
Everything has changed in a short while becuses of one woman,Hazel Blackwood.
Recalling back to when Luke asked him exactly why he hasn’t set the wedding date made him smile,he had delayed that to ensure and find out what and who exactly his fianceè was,but it seems as if fate played a fast one on him.
While trying to fulfill his promise of making her life a living hell,he fell too hard for her,too hard to forget that Arianna ever existed in his life,all she wanted was to get married to him, but he made her life a living hell.
This time he would it right,he would make Hazel happy.
A brilliant idea came in his mind, laughing like a lovesick puppy at the thoughts of his marriage with Hazel,he forgot to knock and barged into his dad’s room.
"Dad"He called,the smile on his face made his dad drop the papers he was holding,while scanning him from head to toe before finally stopping at his happy face.
Someone is in a good mood.
It was so rare to see him this way,he could barely remember when last he saw his son laugh this carefree and happy.
"Son,what is it?"
"I want to set the wedding date as soon as possible"He said,which made his dad crossed him arms in surprise,not believing that this was Zaiden talking.
The last few months were of him trying to get rid of Hazel and now he’s the one desperate to get married as soon as possible.
What changed?
"What changed your mind?"
"Dad,I.."He started getting nervous about explaining these new feelings to his father."it’s just.."scratching his head which made his dad laugh hard at him.
"Is she pregnant?"Ezekiel teased.
"No!why is everyone so keen about her getting pregnant?"Zaiden blurted out,not believing his dad too.
"Why are you raising your voice?it’s not like it’s not bound to happen soon"
"Aish you are no help!let me go and talk with grandpa"he said annoyingly, leaving his dad insearch of his grandpa.
Ezekiel laughed as he left,His son was finally in love.
