365 Days To Love-Chapter 104 - HUNDRED AND FOUR:The Suspicion.

"Elijah!"Grandpa’s voice brought him out of the daze he was,looking at his grandpa and Sophia,he found out whatever it is he was thinking that happened,was only formed in his head.

His dad doesn’t know anything or suspects them,he’s only being antsy about the whole situation,but Sophia wasn’t taking it lightly,she still had her hands tightly fisted which his dad noticed.

"Son,are you okay?"Grandpa asked again,his eyes moving from his son to his wife who was the reason for him coming here.

He was here not because he’s concerned about her,he’s here to see things for himself after Ezekiel had given him the assumption that his brother and wife knew something about what happened in the family house this morning.

He didn’t notice Sophia’s absence the whole time because he was occupied trying to get the investigation team that came to carry the dead body without attracting the press to his residence.

He knew this going out would be a huge topic,as it was the first time something so hideous was committed in the family house.

He also couldn’t forget the look on Elijah’s face the whole time the investigations were going on,if anything,it was as if he was not bothered about the dead body.

Elijah can be heartless when he wants to be,but after hearing from Ezekiel that he may have a hand in the death of the guard,he ransacked his brain trying to find out any possible reasons as to why he would kill a guard.

What did the guard do to deserve such treatments?

It’s not like the guard was his personal assistant to say that he knew valid information about him that made him kill him.

As much as he’s still trying hard to not believe that it was one of his family members that did it,the cctv’s case was enough proof for him to know that something was fishy.

The only people who had rights inside there was the guard who was in charge there,but surprisingly he was called to know if he left his post for that to occur,the young man claimed not to have left his duty post not for once.

The chief of staff was the one to be blamed becuse it was his duty to ensure that things were moving well around the house,but no amount of him carrying his anger out on the man could change the fact that someone amongst his household was a murderer,the question here was who is it?

He didn’t train his grandsons to be like that,he already knew Zaiden had nothing to do with it,then Nathan.

Talking about Nathan,the child had one headache after the other while he was a kid,he knew kids could be a handful but Nathan was worse,much more worse than Zaiden,that’s why he took him outside the country to study.

Was it him?

Staring back at Sophia who had her hands clenching the bedsheets,the anger in her eyes were noticeable,he knew that the two were arguing about something which he had failed to hear because the room was sound proof.

"Father, what brings you here?"Elijah asked when it seemed as if the silence in the room was now unbearable.

His dad was no fool,he knew that they were arguing about something but that got nothing to do with him,what still makes him amazed was the fact that his dad was in his room,this is the first time he’s here.

But it added more to his suspicions,his dad wasn’t one to just come into his room,even when he wanted to talk with him,he always sent someone for him,so whatever it is he had in mind for coming here was something else.

Something was wrong.

"I came to see Sophia"The old man said coming close to where she was seated on the bed,an unusual smile was in his face,was that smile for Sophia?"I heard from Nathan that she’s down with the flu?"He added further,looking at him for a while before turning back to his wife.

"How are you feeling child? Have you taken your medications?"He asked,behaving out of his normal self by cupping her cheeks while talking to her,before touching her temple.

Okay! This is weird.

Something is Wrong.

Elijah knew it.

He couldn’t believe that this was his father talking lovingly to his wife as if she was Avery,Avery was also his favourite,so why did he change so soon or why is he pretending?

Noticing the way his wife was finding it hard to talk,she too,was perplexed by this new side of her father-in-law. She was trying to talk but the intensity of the shock she had on her face towards grandpa made her speechless.

"I.."she started,her throat clogging,she went for his hands that were on her face, removing it before saying"I’m..f..fine grandpa"she nervously said,hiding the smile in her face which he caught before it faded.

Did she fall for his trick so soon?

His wife was dumber than she looked,I mean,it’s so obvious his old mam was playing tricks on them,but Sophia just smiled as if this was real.

Has she forgotten so soon that this was his father?

He is so manipulative and calculative,before making any decisions he already knows what he would gain if he was to take the step he was about to take.

"Okay"He heard his dad standing up to fix his spectacles properly.

"Thanks for coming,"Sophia smiled.

"You are welcome,just take your drugs and you will be fine" he advised, patting her shoulders,taking a swift glance at him,before turning for the door,but stopped suddenly and turned to the two couples who were looking at each other, communicating with their eyes.

Elijah knows something about what happened,he knew that,it was only a matter of time before he caught him and sent him to jail for what he did.

If eventually,his suspicion about him comes out to be true,he has no other option than to face the consequences of his actions.

He didn’t know why his son would stoop so low to commit murder,the knights doesn’t harbour such criminals,it doesn’t run in their blood, but he has forgotten so soon,that he has another blood inside of him.

Elijah.

"Dad?"He called when he noticed he had been standing there for a while now,just staring at him and Sophia.

"I guess he has told you about what happened today?"Grandpa said,smiling stupidly while keenly watching the both of them.

He suddenly saw the change in Sophia’s body movement immediately he talked about the murder,she knew.

Who exactly was it between the two of them?

"Of course I did dad,I mean it’s right everyone knows that we have a murderer who’s hot on our tails,one must be careful right honey?"He said turning to Sophia.

"Yes,I wonder who would actually commit such an atrocity?"She added, which made Elijah’s stomach churn at her words but he composed himself,his old man was still here,he wouldn’t want to make him get more suspicious than he is.

"I wonder who exactly my child,’’Grandpa said.

"I just pray he or she doesn’t let me find out the truth"He thought, giving the two couples one of his stupid smiles that always make people think he was dumb before retiring for his room,it was time for bed.

Sadly,dinner was forgetten for today as no one had an appetite to eat after what transpired today, tomorrow was another day to find out who the murderer is.

"Don’t you find him suspicious?"Sophia was the first to speak up, standing from the bed to walk up to Elijah who seems to be in thoughts.

"I should be the one asking you that, you find him suspicious yet you smile at him when he was asking about your welfare"He snapped at her,opening his shirt to get some fresh air,the room felt so crowded right now even when the air conditioning was on.

"What exactly did you expect me to do?Should I have kept an angry face for him? You know your dad more than i do and he’s not going to take it lightly if i keep an angry face in front of him"Sophia lectured him,coming close to him, while placing her hands on his chest.

"He’s suspecting us which you know that ’’He uttered, running his hand through his head frustratingly.

"You tend to worry about silly things,just act like you know nothing,that’s what we should do ’’She suggested, cupping his face,her earlier anger at him subsidized.

"You are right,"He said, breathing out loudly while she smiled at him,before kissing his chest, biting lightly on his nipple.

"What do you think you are doing?"He seized both of her hands in his after what she did,was she trying to eat him too?

"What does it seem like i am doing?"She teased,biting her lower lips while looking at him with that seductive look that always makes him hard. He released her hands when he was assured that it wasn’t what he thought she was about to do.

"I’m going to take a bath"He said, attempting to leave,he’s still angry at her no matter how hard he was right now.

But she pushed him on top of the bed before climbing to sit on his hardon.

"Get off,I’m still angry at you"He said,cupping her face while smiling at how needy she was and he was making it hard for her.

"Then why does this say otherwise?"she says, grinding on his lower part,smiling when she heard him groan.

"You are crazy, you know?"

"But you can’t resist this crazy psycho"She said,pinching his nipple,before he dragged her to his body.

No matter what,just like she said,he can’t resist his crazy psycho,who was going to be the death of him.
