Chapter 1386: Incarnation Of The END (Part 3)

Inside Evan’s soul space, Elora had been sleeping silently, dreaming of a world filled with endless food.

However, when Evan summoned the Halberd of Destruction to resist Baphomet’s Eyes of Destruction skill, she was jolted awake from her dream, instantly feeling extremely depressed.

Recently, after watching far too many anime, her mind had not been in the right state.

When both Anastasia and Evan had disappeared for ten days some time ago, she had even begun to imagine that she was the main character of the world, someone whose parents had abandoned her, forcing her to grow stronger in order to find them.

During her power-up journey, she would encounter a lot of bastards, slap them in the face, and rise to the top of the world. In the end, she would find her parents in a dire state and save them with a swag.

Realizing that she was dangerously close to developing an eighth-grade syndrome, Evan had no choice but to ban her from watching anime for a while.

As a result, the only things Elora could do were eat or sleep. If she had been inside the closed world of the Dryads, she could have played with the younger dryads.

But now that she was outside with Evan, where she could neither eat peacefully, nor watch anime, nor play around, she could only sleep and dream about food.

Thus, when her dream of a world full of food was shattered, she became truly angry and deeply dejected.

Moreover, the moment Evan summoned her, she sensed someone attempting to harm her father using the power of destruction.

For her, the power of destruction was not something she needed to consciously control or invoke. She only needed to will it, and everything related to the power of destruction would instantly fall under her command.

As such, when Evan swung the Halberd of Destruction to blow away Baphomet’s attack, she merely willed it to disappear. In that instant, all the destructive energy that Baphomet had been pressing down upon Evan was completely blown away.

Elora’s bad mood improved slightly after dispersing Baphomet’s skill, because to her, it felt like punching someone and as everyone knows, when in a bad mood, hitting something can bring a strange sense of relief.

However, her mood quickly sank again because the moment she saw Baphomet and Eldraker, she remembered that these two were the ones who had attacked her and her father inside the Tomb of the Ancient.

Because she had been ordered by her father to guard the seal within the Tomb of the Ancient until he returned, she had remained there for a long time.

With great difficulty, she had managed to split off a wisp of her spirit and send it outside the sealed area to search for food and she had even found her father out there.

But these two villains, especially that horned, ugly man had attacked her, destroying her spirit and plunging her into slumber within the tomb.

It was only later, after her father helped her, that she awakened and was brought out of the Tomb of the Ancient.

Now, seeing those same people appear once again and attack her father, she was utterly furious.

When Evan used the third move of the Soul Slayer War Arts, Elora did not even attempt to restrain the power of destruction within her. Instead, she allowed it to flow out uncontrollably.

Evan had already pushed everything he had to amplify the Annihilation move to its extreme, and since Elora also held nothing back, the result was a terrifying scene where the power of destruction rapidly spread in all directions.

Because she released everything without attempting to control it, it was inevitable that the energy within her body would spiral out of control, causing her to lose consciousness.

Moreover, the replica of the true Halberd of Destruction, within which she currently resided, though powerful, was not at a level where it could withstand the full power of both Elora and Evan.

As a result, the moment they both unleashed their strength, cracks began to appear across the halberd, spreading throughout its entire frame.

The instant those cracks formed, Elora, who was already losing consciousness felt something within her awaken.

The power of destruction inside her body began to boil violently, and a strange, overwhelming urge to destroy everything gradually rose within her heart. It was as if destruction itself had always been her true purpose.

At the same time, through her rapidly fading vision, she vaguely saw Evan’s body beginning to disintegrate, bit by bit, under the uncontrollable power of destruction leaking out from her.

For a brief moment, the rising urge to destroy everything came to a halt and panic filled her heart as she sensed Evan’s life force rapidly declining under her power.

She tried to regain control, but it was useless.

The cracks on the halberd grew larger and larger, and as they spread, it felt as though some kind of seal within her was also breaking apart.

Inside Elora’s mind, the image of a colossal beast appeared, standing atop a mountain of corpses belonging to countless different races.

Behind the beast, something resembling a black hole spun violently, devouring not only the corpses but even distant stars from the sky.

It was as though the beast itself was the embodiment of destruction, existing solely to annihilate the world.

The instant this image flashed through her mind, fragments of memories accompanied it. For some reason, Elora suddenly felt that she could control the power of destruction far more effectively.

But along with this newfound control came an overwhelming and terrifying urge to destroy everything.

With the last remnants of her sanity, Elora halted the outward spread of destruction, preventing it from killing Evan, and forcibly regained control over her power.

However, the moment she fully regained control, her mind went completely blank, filled with nothing but the singular desire to destroy everything.

Thus, the terror of the Origin Universe, the incarnation of the END itself, a being born solely to destroy the world, was unleashed upon Utopia.
