Yuan Jiayin surely had no way of finding them.

"Yuan Jiayin, let’s go. Stop making a scene." Shang Jingchen couldn’t stand it any longer. Ye Lu still had shares in her hands, and he didn’t want to offend her.

Besides, the last incident was so scandalous. Those undeniable interviews convinced him that Yuan Jiayin was indeed behind it all. The cunning and deception she displayed were beyond belief.

If she makes a scene again and gets humiliated in public, the reputation of the Shang Family will be completely ruined by her.

"Jingchen, I was framed this time." Yuan Jiayin said angrily, this man dared to not support her in front of so many people.

The journalists finally grew impatient: "Young Mistress Shang, if you claim that you’ve been wronged, then present your evidence, we are not here to listen to your bickering."

After her last turnaround, they all had a strong distaste for this woman. Had they not expected a big scoop, they might not have come.

"Alright, if you claim I framed you, then present some substantial evidence." Ye Lu sneered.

Seeing Ye Lu’s oblivious expression, Yuan Jiayin sneered inwardly, waiting for her impending downfall.

"Evidence, I certainly have it. Xiaoyue, come out."

At her command, a girl with a panicked expression walked out from the crowd behind her.

Most of the journalists immediately recognized her as the maid who had revealed Yuan Jiayin’s duplicity during a previous TV interview.

They all smelled something unusual, and immediately perked up, aware that this could be the key to their story. They all ready their cameras.

Ye Lu was taken aback, "Xiaoyue, why are you here?"

Xiaoyue raised her head, flicked a glance at Ye Lu, and quickly lowered it with a look of shame.

Ye Lu suddenly had a foreboding feeling.

"You were certainly not expecting Xiaoyue to be here. Did you think she would stay quiet just because you paid her off? Unfortunately for you, Xiaoyue is kind-hearted, she felt guilty, and couldn’t help but reveal this to me and apologized.", Yuan Jiayin’s eyes welled up with tears, her face filled with grief.

"Ye Lu, you cannot distort the truth in this world, there is divine justice, human hearts cannot be easily bought."

Ye Lu trembled with anger, her gaze fixed on Yuan Jiayin: "Yuan Jiayin, don’t play the innocent, I’ve never bought off Xiaoyue. All she did was expressing her anger for me on TV. Xiaoyue, speak up for yourself, did I ever bribe you?"

Although she had used some means and purposely arranged for the journalists to interview Xiaoyue, she had never bribed her.

Upon hearing this, Xiaoyue shuddered, her face remaining rigid.

Yuan Jiayin took the opportunity to pinch her, and softly encouraged, " Xiaoyue, don’t be afraid. She can’t harm you now, just tell the truth and everyone will be on your side."

Journalists all looked anxiously at Xiaoyue, knowing that her statement could change everything.

Ye Lu held her breath, her gaze fixed on Xiaoyue, "Xiaoyue, you need to be honest, tell us if I ever bribed you."

Xiaoyue shivered once more, feeling guilty deep down.

But she had no choice. Yuan Jiayin held her parents captive, threatening her. She had no choice but to obey.

"Xiaoyue, speak the truth now." Yuan Jiayin was getting impatient, she gave another painful squeeze.

With her head down, Xiaoyue began to speak in a trembling voice: "It was Ye Lu who instructed me to do this. She bribed me, asked me to intentionally speak ill of the young mistress.
