My Favorite Game Followed Me!
Chapter 788
Chapter 788
“Anton, we’ve all read the reports about the things that you’ve done in Ormunda, New Drennor, and that fallen little kingdom, Mendoza, but one thing caught my interest. It said that your family created a very lucrative business that caters to the mundane citizens of Ormunda. A 'cinema', I think, that’s what the report had said,” Helena asked him while they were waiting for Captain Joraniah to complete their planning of how each one of the men in their team would battle Anton’s summon.
“My unique bloodline magic allowed me to open a window to another dimension, and I don’t know why. That dimension is peculiar. They don’t have magic, but their innovations in mechanisms are tremendous. They had even reached their moon already by creating a vehicle that can fly out to space! Anyways, what interested me greatly was the ability of the people there in the arts. Their artists are truly talented, and I’m thinking it was because they had achieved global communication, so their pool of talent encompasses the whole world. They have this ability to create technology that records their shows, called movies, television shows, and animated shows, which were basically theater plays. Through their technology, most households there invented devices that let them see these shows wherever they were. Some of their shows were filled with special effects, which were most similar to Illusion Magic, so their shows were eye candy. Some focus on simple stories like stories of family, of romance, of horror, or even something tremendously funny. I fell in love with these shows, and since they were highly entertaining, I thought that a lot of people would like them as well, so I recorded some of them and showed them to others, and I was right. People like them, so our family made it our business and charged coins for people to see them.”
“Since your magic allows you to create portals, did you check if you can create a gate or a portal back to that dimension? If they don’t have magic, even low level wizard could probably conquer it,” Sudarta asked.
“My portal magic wasn’t able to create a portal to that dimension, just windows. I did a little research and basically, the most fundamental issue is that I simply don’t know the dimensional coordinates,” Anton said, then he continued.
“I’ve been watching that dimension for a long time and realized that even if they don’t have magic, their advancement in technology was such that they have weapons that could destroy an individual or even a large country easily, so even if a portal were opened to their dimension, it wouldn’t be simple for wizards to conquer it.”
“Surely powerful wizards would still be able to,” Sudarta said, and Anton simply nodded.
He could not deny that the most powerful beings in this world were truly powerful, and he did not have enough knowledge to conclude whether the Divine Rank beings would have the power to sweep Earth.
Still, if Anton was being honest, he did not want other wizards to open a portal back to Earth. He was still in love with Earth’s media, and he did not know if the Earthlings’ ability to create that art would be restricted under the rule of wizards.
While he was conversing with the two women, they noticed that Captain Joraniah seemed to have come to a decision on how the men would battle Anton’s summons. Based on their actions, it appeared that they had decided that they would battle the summons one by one.

The first one who would try was Ishmael. He went to the center of the field, facing Anton’s summons. Anton’s summons was not supported by his auras as decided by the captain. They would first try the summons without support, and then, if they found that the summons was truly capable but still weaker than they expected, they would ask Anton to support his summons using his spells.
When the captain shouted the start of the fight, all of the spirit wolves and dire wolves started running towards Ishmale. While the Ravens flew in circles above, trying to find a chance to attack the wizard.
The first thing Ishmael did was cast an Invisibility spell, which Anton thought was a mistake. The wolves would still be able to detect Ishamel through their sense of smell, so Anton was not surprised when the wolves suddenly started running to the left, which indicated that Ishamel had gone to that location.
The Valkyrie used its powerful bow abilities to attack Ishamel, and the wizards had to dispel his invisibility to create a force field to block the Valkyrie’s arrow. Everyone could feel how powerful the arrows from one of the most powerful summons Anton had, and Ishmael, either through a spell or instinct, decided that he could not disregard the attack.
The wolves reached Ishamel, who cast a spell to push the wolves away, and then Ishamel flew. The Ravens found their chance and started attacking the wizard, who was still protected by his force field, but everyone saw that even though the Ravens looked weak, their attack power was surprisingly robust. Everyone then remembered that Anton had declared that his summons was half as powerful as he was.
Ishamel started attacking the ravens using his attack spells, and he successfully destroyed the birds. The wizard did notice that the Shadow Master suddenly appeared just below him and started creating Death Sentry traps. Anton knew that the Shadow Master chose Death Sentry because the corpses of the ravens fell directly below Ishamel.
Ishamel finally killed off all of the ravens and started facing the other summons, but the Shadow Master used its Cloak of Shadow ability, and the whole area was covered in darkness. Anton noticed the Valkyrie started using Freezing Arrow, and even though the area was covered in darkness due to the Cloak of Shadow, since the skill came from his summons, Anton could clearly see everything that was happening inside.
The Freezing Arrow reached Ishamel, and his force field was covered in ice. Due to how thick the ice was, Ishamel's flight could not support the weight, so he decided to fly down. Once the wizards reached the ground, lightning from the Death Sentry spewed out, and the raven’s corpses started exploding, causing tremendous damage.
The wolves and the Grizzly Bear reached Ishamel and started causing damage to the wizard. Ishmael tried his best to cast spells that would drive the summon off, but he was still having a hard time since the area was still covered in darkness.
Ishmael managed to cast a powerful light spell that dispelled Cloak of Shadow, and everyone was surprised that the wizard was on the losing end. Everyone then saw that Ishamel was poisoned by Anton’s Poison Creeper, and after that Ishmale became dizzy from the Grizzly Bear’s ground slam attack. Anton heard the command from Captain Joraniah to dispel his summons, so he immediately dispelled them, causing all of his summons to disappear.
Basically, it meant that Ishamel lost, which actually shocked all of the wizards there.
“Hey! Where are those stupid creatures! Bring them back! I can still win,” Ishmael shouted, but everyone knew that the wizard had lost.
When Ishamel realized that, the wizard actually blushed in shame. Anton understood that everyone there actually looked down on his summons, but at least, they now knew that his summons was powerful and could be an asset for the team.
