I Was Not Meant To Exist

The sound of two sets of footsteps echoed through the brightly lit corridor. On the ceiling of the corridor, there were two rows of diamonds shining, reflecting the light from the lamps lined along the walls of the corridor.

Those lines of diamonds stretched along the corridor, dazzling one of the people walking there.

That person wore a dark red robe, his dark red hair combed back, his blue eyes slightly narrowed as he looked at the shining diamonds on the corridor ceiling. That person was the king of humans.

He shifted his gaze forward and slightly lowered his head. In front of him walked a dwarf with greenish-brown hair, his white robe flowing fittingly with his height.

The human king cleared his throat softly.

"Oi... Dolyn, how are you?"

Dolyn slightly turned his head back, his gaze looking slightly upward to look at the human king.

"I’m fine, uncle..."

The human king cleared his throat again, one eyebrow of the human king raised.

"How is your research? Has there been any progress?"

Dolyn fell silent for a moment, he shrugged and spoke without turning back.

"Everything is going well for all my research, there are only a few obstacles."

The human king cleared his throat again, they continued walking in the diamond corridor.

"You have to stay motivated, okay? Don’t let others get ahead of you, you know..."

Dolyn’s ears twitched, his dark green eyes widened, he immediately turned around to face the human king, his expression as if showing he understood something.

The human king burst into loud laughter, his laughter echoed in the diamond corridor, while Dolyn only looked at the human king with a flat gaze.

"I watched the broadcast this afternoon, damn... how could we be beaten by humans in terms of research."

The human king wiped the tears that accidentally came out when he laughed.

Dolyn crossed his arms, he was still walking while facing the human king.

Dolyn turned his body again to face the human king, he walked backward.

They both now stood in front of a double steel door, on the lines of the door diamonds were beautifully engraved.

Dolyn placed his hand on the wall beside the diamond steel door, not long after a mechanical sound was heard, the two diamond steel doors opened revealing the room inside.

A gust of cold wind hit the human king and Dolyn, they entered a fairly large room.

The room had a large table that stood in the middle of the room, on the surface of the table there was a touchscreen almost as large as the table surface.

There were also several sofas and small tables with snacks on them, and on one of the walls there was a large screen.

Inside the room, two figures were already seated, they stood up and approached the human king.

The human king glanced slightly downward, there a dwarf with green hair that was slowly turning white approached, his dark red robe fit perfectly with his height, his brown eyes looked at the human king with an unusual gaze, his white beard was braided and extended to his chest, his expression looked sullen behind his beard, he was the dwarf king. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

One eyebrow of the human king rose, he whispered to Dolyn.

"What’s wrong with your father?"

Dolyn chuckled softly, he also whispered in response.

"Potion problem..."

The human king smiled widely, he extended his hand to the dwarf king, the dwarf king accepted his hand.

"How are you, Dhoryn?..."

One eyebrow of the human king rose, his expression showed arrogance.

"...especially after watching that live broadcast hehe"

The dwarf king was still sullen, he channeled his mana into the hand that was shaking hands with the human king, instantly the sound of bones cracking was heard.

The human king’s body twitched, veins bulged on his forehead, he immediately directed his fist to the dwarf king’s face, each of his punches gave a shock effect, but the dwarf king did not dodge, he did not even blink.

The dwarf king released his handshake, he opened his mouth, a slight smile formed behind his braided beard.

The human king blew on his hand that had swollen after shaking hands with the dwarf king.

Meanwhile, laughter broke out from the person beside the dwarf king.

The human king turned towards him, standing beside the dwarf king was a man in a white robe, a brown horn came out from the top of his bald head, the human king clicked his tongue seeing that figure.

"Ahhh... why is it you again? Why not the dragon queen or the elf queen? Or are there no other dragons? I’m bored of seeing you..."

The dwarf king chuckled, he nodded in agreement.

The horned dragon who had been laughing immediately stopped, his expression turned flat, he looked at the human king, his voice sounded serious.

"What do you mean Max? It’s been a long time since we met, I even lead one of the three dragon armies."

One eyebrow of the human king rose, his expression showed disbelief.

"Really?..."

The brown horned dragon nodded, while a wide smile immediately formed on the human king’s face, he extended his hand and shook hands with the dragon.

"Then you are accepted here, Bond..."

They talked briefly before finally standing around the large table with the screen on its surface.

The height of the table had already been adjusted to the height of the dwarves.

Dolyn immediately touched the surface of the table, and slowly the table screen displayed a land map. In the northern part of the map, a range of silent mountains could be seen, while a red point could be seen not far from the silent mountains.

On the map there were also white and red points scattered across the entire region.

Dolyn cleared his throat, he spoke first.

"As you all can see, the red points that are visible are fortresses that have fallen by leak and buto ijo, and the white points are fortresses that are still standing..."

The human king stroked his chin, his blue eyes observing every red and white point scattered irregularly.

Dolyn nodded in agreement, he massaged his forehead.

The human king covered his mouth, his blue eyes glanced at the dwarf king, his voice sounded whispering.

The dwarf king also covered his mouth, he also whispered to the human king.

The human king nodded, he whispered again while listening to the discussion between Bond and Dolyn.

The dwarf king’s face turned confused, he played with the map on the table screen, he observed the red points that were more dominant in the west leading to the dwarf capital.

The human king who saw that began to speak about his assumption.

"He is not a fallen leak... he consciously descended from the silent mountains and even controls buto ijo... and he moves as if he is looking for something."

The dwarf king’s hand twitched hearing the human king’s words, veins bulged on his forehead and his anger suddenly peaked, his mind suddenly went blank.

He raised his leg and kicked the large table in front of him because of his anger, the large table with the screen rolled and hit the wall, Dolyn and Bond who were talking were surprised when the dwarf king suddenly kicked the large table, while the human king only sighed.

Dolyn looked at the dwarf king, he shouted in protest.

"What’s wrong father?! Why did you kick the table?!"

The dwarf king only remained silent, his expression returned to sullen, he looked at Dolyn, his voice sounded cold.

"Return to the capital, Dolyn. Go quickly and evacuate all the citizens in the capital."

Dolyn’s face turned confused hearing the dwarf king’s order, while Bond who was previously surprised immediately understood the dwarf king’s intention.

"What’s actually going on? We already got reinforcements! We can counterattack leak and buto ijo now."

The dwarf king only looked at Dolyn with a cold gaze that made Dolyn shiver.

"Just do it, Dolyn..."

Dolyn clenched his teeth, he shifted his gaze to the human king.

Meanwhile, in the chaotic room only the human king, the dwarf king, and Bond remained.

The dwarf king looked at Bond with a sullen expression, his voice sounded firm.

Bond shook his head, the dwarf king who saw Bond’s response immediately clicked his tongue.

Bond scratched his bald head, a sigh came out of him.

The human king massaged his forehead, while the dwarf king kept pacing back and forth.

Just when he was about to contact someone, suddenly the ground they were standing on trembled, the tremor was strong enough to knock down the snacks on the table.

The human king scratched the back of his head.

The dwarf king and Bond looked at the human king.

The three of them immediately ran out of the room, their footsteps echoed in the corridor along with the warning alarm that sounded.

They went down to the fortress hall, there the followers of humans, dwarves, and dragons gathered to wait for the orders of the leaders.

They talked briefly with their respective followers and immediately left the fortress hall.

As soon as the large hall door opened, thousands of soldiers were seen preparing.

One of the dwarf commanders who followed the dwarf king shouted giving orders.

"PREPARE THE MANA CANNONS!! I WANT EVERYTHING READY TO PIERCE THE MONSTERS!!"

The human king turned to look at his followers who came to the north, there were Adan, Russ, and Kentaro.

The human king took off his red robe and handed it to one of them, Adan who received it raised one eyebrow in confusion.

"What is it, Your Majesty?..."

The human king looked right and left, he covered his mouth, and whispered only to them.

"I’m a little nervous..."

Adan, Russ, and Kentaro who heard that became much more nervous.

Russ chuckled hearing his king’s words thinking it was just a joke.

The human king then left them to join the dwarf king and Bond.

Russ who saw the king go away immediately whispered to Adan and Kentaro.

"His Majesty is just joking right?..."

Kentaro scratched his forehead with his right hand, while his left hand stroked his black katana at his waist.

"I think His Majesty was serious when he said he was nervous."

Adan and Russ looked at Kentaro at the same time.

"Damn..."

"I don’t like meeting you, Kentaro"

Kentaro chuckled, the three of them went to their respective positions, the fortress became busier with their preparations.

The moonlight that illuminated them as a natural calm was slowly covered by cold mist, the stars that were scattered began to disappear one by one, and the cold mist slowly surrounded the busy fortress as the tremor felt by the fortress grew stronger.

The human king, the dwarf king, and Bond stood on one of the fortress walls.

Their eyes looked in the same direction, behind them in the large field inside the fortress the dragons slowly transformed into their original forms, they would carry the elites from their sides to fight leak and buto ijo directly, while the others would stay in the fortress to withstand the attack of other monsters.

The human king exhaled his breath, smoke came out of his lips.

Bond who was beside the dwarf king began to glance at the human king.

"I heard you said you were nervous to your subordinates, Max?"

The dwarf king who heard Bond’s words clicked his tongue.

"Pathetic... Max."

The human king chuckled, he brushed his hair while looking at the thousands of silhouettes that slowly appeared behind the mist across from them, there was one largest silhouette there with one figure sitting on its head.

The human king pointed at the enemy group.

"Look! They are not friendly. I have never faced mystical creatures that are not friendly..."

One of Bond’s eyebrows raised, he looked at the human king.

"Do I count as a friendly mystical creature?..."

The human king almost laughed hearing it, he looked at Bond who looked at him, they were separated by the dwarf king.

"You are quite cute, Bond..."

Bond clicked his tongue, veins bulged on his forehead, his eyes turned into brown reptile eyes, his voice also became heavier.

"How about we bet on defeating that leak?..."

The human king only smiled, he shifted his gaze back to the group of monsters, while the dwarf king stroked his beard.

"You think you are like that leak, Bond?..."

The dwarf king looked at Bond, he slightly raised his head to face Bond.

"You are indeed a mystical creature... but are you equal to the dragon king or the dragon queen?"

Bond swallowed, while the dwarf king squeezed the back of Bond’s knee which made Bond groan in pain.

"You are not even equal to the dragon flag bearer, bastard. And you didn’t even report the details about this leak..."

Bond stretched in pain he fell while holding the back of his knee, while the human king channeled his mana out of his body, he raised his left hand to the sky, his face also looked at the sky.

The dwarf king also released his mana, he touched the cold fortress wall with his palm, while his brown eyes caught one movement from the figure on top of the giant’s head.

That figure was covered in mist, but in the dwarf king’s eyes its movement was visible, that figure raised its arm slightly and moved it just like that.

A sound was heard echoing throughout the fortress area.

Cling....

That sound vibrated in everyone’s eardrums, the sound made everyone freeze, the dragons stopped flapping their wings, the elites who wanted to mount them stopped mid-step, even the human king and dwarf king froze.

Cracks slowly appeared around the fortress, those cracks also spread to the fortress walls that were the pride of the dwarves, the dwarf king who saw it could only freeze and not move.

Those cracks continued to spread around the fortress in an instant, slowly the fortress was lifted into the air.

But everyone still did not move, they were still frozen after hearing that bell sound.

The fortress rose higher, the human king whose blue eyes looked at the sky kept cursing in his heart, now his eyes were getting closer to the sky he was looking at.

But something happened, something that made his heart beat fast after a long time.

In just one blink, his view that was looking at the sky changed instantly.

The sky he saw disappeared, and what replaced his view was cracked and shattered ground.

The human king’s heart beat fast, he could not even swallow his saliva.

After that curse in his heart, his view got closer to the cracked ground, and when he finally hit the ground, a roaring sound thundered.

The sound of impact reached the figure that caused the attack, now the fortress that once stood strong and seemed impossible to penetrate was reduced to rubble covered in its own dust.

A cold breath came out from the figure on top of the giant, after that the smaller monsters began to charge toward the ruins of the fortress.
