I Was Not Meant To Exist

The booming sound of tens of thousands of pairs of monster feet disturbed the silence of the night, thousands of them charging toward a ruined fortress still covered in its own dust.

The starving monsters drooled, their saliva leaving trails on the ground they passed, their forms varied and strange, coming from different levels.

The tremors of the earth caused by the monster assault shook the fortress even more.

In one corner of the ruins, a large rock suddenly split apart from a push beneath it, the rock shattered into pieces, and a figure emerged from it.

His green hair that had begun to turn white fluttered in the night wind, his dark red robe draped over his shoulders began to be removed, his height far from normal did not stop him from descending the ruins of the fortress, his brown eyes stared directly at the horde of starving monsters.

The short figure began to run, a growl emerged from him from the mouth behind his braided beard that reached his chest.

That figure flowed his mana into his right hand, his shout came out from the mouth behind his beard, a shout that matched the growls of thousands of monsters.

That figure directed his fist to the ground, but the impact he produced from his punch was not as loud as his shout.

But that figure did not care, because after his hand entered the ground, the earth trembled.

Under the ground, a cave was seen glowing with thousands of tons of diamonds nested in its caverns.

Those diamonds began to move after that figure’s mana reached them, and in an instant those diamonds went wild and pierced the ceiling of the cave.

The ground now was not only trembling because of the monsters’ footsteps, but also trembling because of the diamonds trying to break through to the surface.

When those diamonds reached the surface, hundreds of diamond pillars pierced bodies and blocked the monsters’ path.

Those whose bodies were pierced were now closer to the sky covered in cold mist, while monsters that crashed into the diamond pillars lost their heads.

Even though hundreds of diamond pillars appeared, it was still not enough to stop the thousands of monsters, they ran past the hundreds of diamond pillars, although at a slower speed.

The short figure exhaled his breath which turned into vapor, that figure was the dwarf king.

A gust of wind hit every hair on his body, he still stood in front of the ruined fortress without wavering even slightly.

The brown eyes of the dwarf king slowly looked upward, his gaze fixed on the night sky covered with cold mist.

But in an instant the mist disappeared, the sound of thunder boomed along with red lightning.

Slowly the cold mist disappeared and began to be replaced by black clouds carrying red lightning with them.

The monsters that still had survival instinct slowly looked at the sky, their monster eyes reflected the increasing red lightning.

Their instinct told them to leave that place as fast as possible, but unfortunately they could not turn back, the monsters that forced themselves to retreat began to be trampled by other monsters.

And not long after their chaos, the first red lightning struck them, the smell of burning was smelled as dozens of monsters were roasted.

But that red lightning was not the end, dozens of lightning bolts fell again to the ground like heavy rain, the monsters became roasted flesh in an instant.

But even with dozens of red lightning strikes, the monsters that were not hit still tried to charge toward the ruined fortress, their hunger overcame their fear of death.

The reflection of red lightning shone in the brown eyes of the dwarf king, the sound of footsteps was heard from behind him.

Another figure appeared, the white shirt worn by that figure was now stained by the ruins of the fortress, his red hair that was once neatly combed was now messy, and his blue eyes contrasted with the flow of lightning surrounding the monsters, that figure was the human king.

The human king began to step forward, his hand once again stretched toward the black sky that released red lightning.

A cold breath came out from the lips of the human king.

After his exhale, a large red lightning struck him, that red lightning was like a flash that dazzled the entire area.

That destructive red lightning did not hurt the human king. Instead, he grasped that red lightning.

A giant red lightning spear was gripped in the right hand of the human king.

His blue eyes glanced toward the large target across from him, he did not care about the monsters still trying to charge toward the fortress.

The human king stretched his muscles, his cold breath turned into mist, his target was the figure sitting cross-legged on top of the giant, they were still covered by mist.

The human king began to move his body, his right hand began to release his giant red lightning spear.

As soon as the red spear left his grip, a sound like bird chirping was heard, the giant red lightning spear split the air, the spear destroyed everything it passed, monsters and diamond pillars in its path were instantly annihilated.

A straight line was formed after the spear was released.

Meanwhile, the target of the spear was still sitting calmly on top of the giant’s head.

He raised his right hand, a bracelet with a bell circled his wrist.

That figure flicked his right hand, causing the bell to ring.

A sound echoed throughout the entire area.

Cling....

When the sound of the bell stopped, the giant red lightning spear immediately reversed.

The direction of the spear that was heading toward that figure now turned toward the ground.

A huge explosion sound was heard when the giant red lightning spear hit the ground, its shockwave reached the place where the human king and the dwarf king stood.

The human king clicked his tongue, a breath came out of him turning into smoke.

"His right bell is troublesome. What do you think, dhoryn?"

The dwarf king began to approach and stood beside the human king, the remaining monsters still tried to approach them to devour them.

"But we are not affected, right? I mean earlier we were all flipped, damn..."

The human king chuckled, while from behind them at the ruins of the fortress, something large slowly emerged from the rubble.

A brown dragon began to spread its wings, its roar echoed throughout the entire area.

Not long after the brown dragon appeared, dozens of other dragons followed emerging from the ruins of the fortress that had buried them.

The dwarves and humans also did not want to be outdone, they came out one by one from the grave of the fortress, some suffering wounds all over their bodies and some others dead.

The brown dragon began to spread its wings, a gust of wind struck the human king and the dwarf king.

The reptilian eyes of the dragon began to stare at the giant figure that was still covered by mist.

Its roar was heard again followed by the other dragons, their roars became a natural fear for the monsters that were approaching, they slowly slowed down their steps.

Meanwhile the brown dragon began to fly, to the night sky covered with black clouds.

The dwarf king who covered part of his face began to shout at the brown dragon. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

"SEPARATE THE BUTO IJO, BOND!!!"

The reptilian eyes of the brown dragon glanced at the human king and the dwarf king, he did not answer, but his roar became a sign of agreement.

The brown dragon began to fly across the area filled with monsters and monster corpses.

The other dragons flew following him, but their target was the monsters that started charging again.

One of the dwarf commanders shouted at his own troops, his shout ignited the spirit of the dwarves.

"DWARVES!!! UNITE AND ADVANCE!!!"

After the shout of the dwarf commander, the dwarves began to charge leaving the humans who were still standing still, they ran past the dwarf king and the human king to fight the monsters.

The human king turned to Adan who was still standing still, he signaled something.

Adan who saw his king’s signal began to exhale, but he raised his clenched right hand into the air, veins bulged from his forehead, his stomach began to swell and a shout came out of him.

"FOR HUMANITY!!"

His subordinates who heard Adan’s shout chuckled, even the king almost laughed, but they immediately followed the dwarves to fight the monsters.

Now only the human king and the dwarf king remained behind.

They began to flow mana into each of their bodies, red flashes appeared all over the body of the human king while a board created by the dwarf king himself appeared.

They slowly moved toward Leak and Buto Ijo who were now almost colliding with the brown dragon.

The brown dragon flew without obstacles as it split through the horde of monsters, its reptilian eyes reflected two figures that were still standing inside the mist.

The giant figure that had not moved at all now began to move.

Its first step immediately broke through the thick cold mist, its step gave its own vibration to the earth.

A growl came out from the brown dragon, it flew faster as if impatient to collide with the two figures.

Meanwhile the giant figure did not care, its body slowly became fully visible, green scales appeared all over its body, its bloated belly was visible, while a large black cloth covered the lower part of its body, two strange ears were attached to its green head, two fangs from its lower teeth protruded out of its mouth.

Its eyes looked empty and above its black-haired head, another figure sat cross-legged.

Its body was thin with long arms and legs, its entire body was covered with long white fur, its body was wrapped by black and white cloth, while on both of its wrists golden bells were wrapped, its face was covered by a red mask that had protruding eyes, on the mouth of the mask was carved a smiling mouth with four protruding fangs, and a long tongue extended from the mouth of the mask, and two golden bells were attached beside the protruding eyes of the mask.

The reptilian eyes of the brown dragon twitched slightly seeing the figure of Leak that before it only saw in illustrations from books it read.

But it did not let itself be distracted for long just because of Leak’s physical appearance, it exhaled, its brown chest now turned red, its mouth slightly opened with fire starting to be visible between its mouth.

The brown dragon began to open its mouth wide, but it was still too slow compared to Leak who had already flicked his right hand.

The sound of Leak’s golden bell was heard again, the brown dragon who heard it instantly became stiff.

Its reptilian eyes froze while its mouth stayed wide open showing its sharp teeth.

The wings of the brown dragon also became stiff, and in the reflection of the dragon’s reptilian eyes that saw Leak and Buto Ijo, in an instant they became reversed.

Its dragon heart beat fast, fear began to gnaw at its brown scales.

Its vision changed, the brown dragon saw Leak and Buto Ijo upside down, its body that was still stiff slowly fell from its flight.

The brown dragon fell upside down right near the feet of Buto Ijo, a burst of dust filled the area where the dragon fell.

Its reptilian eyes blinked and at the next blink what it saw was no longer black clouds that released red lightning, but a giant green hand.

The brown dragon immediately responded to the attack it was about to receive, it exhaled, its brown chest turned red, its mouth opened wide and a stream of fire from its dragon breath burned the hand of Buto Ijo.

A groan of pain echoed throughout the entire area, Buto Ijo stepped back unconsciously while holding its left palm that was charred.

The brown dragon immediately flipped its body, it spread its wings and bent its four legs.

The brown dragon immediately charged at Buto Ijo, it opened its mouth wide and bit the neck of Buto Ijo that was about to fall.

Meanwhile Leak who was on top of Buto Ijo that was about to fall immediately moved his body for the first time.

He slightly bent his long knees and immediately jumped from the top of Buto Ijo’s head.

Leak spun in the air, the sound of the bells in his hands sounded like a rhythm when he spun in the air, the long white fur that covered his entire body flowed, while his mask did not move at all and continued to stick covering his face.

There was no sound heard when both of Leak’s bare feet touched the ground, he slightly bent his long knees to prevent the impact.

Meanwhile a crashing sound was heard from Buto Ijo that fell after being bitten by the dragon.

Leak tried to turn around to check the condition of Buto Ijo, but a red lightning and dazzling light that appeared behind him caught his attention.

Leak turned around and lowered his gaze.

His height that was almost three meters made him look more superior in front of the two people before him.

Now the human king, the dwarf king, and Leak were already facing each other.

Silence covered around them while noisy sounds continued to be heard in other places.

The human king slightly raised his head to look at Leak, he cleared his throat.

"Test test. Do you understand our language?"

Leak responded by tilting his head when he heard the words of the human king, the sound of the bell near his eyes was heard.

Leak raised his thin right hand slowly that was covered by long white fur.

The human king and the dwarf king twitched, they prepared their positions.

But the attack never came, Leak hit his own chest three times, each hit made the sound of his bell heard.

The human king and the dwarf king froze seeing it, while Leak began to speak.

His voice made goosebumps for people who heard it for the first time.

"I...am Gede Gentasura."

Gede Gentasura looked at the human king and the dwarf king one by one who prepared their positions, his movement looked broken.

"Greetings...for humans...and dwarves, you have multiplied...quickly."

Gede Gentasura placed his right hand on the mouth of his mask.

"Back then you were...still small and few...but they were very...."

The human king picked his ear, he clicked his tongue in his heart, he felt familiar as if hearing the same tale from a figure he knew.

The dwarf king who heard Gede Gentasura continue speaking immediately raised his hand, making Gede Gentasura stop speaking, he tilted his head making the bell sound.

The dwarf king spoke first.

"We already know stories like that...so, what is your purpose coming here, Gede Gentasura?"

Gede Gentasura scratched his neck that was covered by long white fur, he went silent for a moment.

"I...came here...to fulfill the call...of my master..."

The human king and the dwarf king swallowed waiting for his next words, while Gede Gentasura puffed his chest with confidence.

"My master the most beautiful goddess, Calon Arang called me here."

Instantly the atmosphere between them became colder, the hand of the dwarf king twitched as if he was ready to attack anytime, while the human king covered his mouth and whispered to the dwarf king.

"Damn...it’s true the target, dhoryn..."

Gede Gentasura continued praising his master in his own striking way, while the dwarf king covered his mouth and whispered.

"We must keep him away from my capital..."

The sound of an explosion was heard from behind the human king and the dwarf king, but even with the entire place turning into chaos, Gede Gentasura remained busy with his own world.

The human king swallowed, he glanced at the dwarf king while still covering his mouth.

"That is certain...damn, what ’most beautiful goddess’?! Goddess Athika is still more beautiful, damn!..."

The dwarf king clicked his tongue, veins bulged on his forehead, he whispered to the human king.

"Seriously?! In a situation like this you are acting childish?"

The human king raised his shoulders and one of his eyebrows.

"I mean...what kind of beautiful goddess turns into a primordial monster and troubles all of us!"

The human king and the dwarf king were busy with their whispers, while Gede Gentasura had finished telling the story of his master, he exhaled his breath which released smoke that passed through his mask.

The human king and the dwarf king turned their heads, while Gede Gentasura scratched the part of his body that felt itchy.

"So...can you, guide this servant of my master...to my master?"

The human king exhaled, while the dwarf king stepped forward.

"We cannot, forgive us Gede Gentasura. Your master is not here..."

Gede Gentasura scratched his head that felt itchy because his head was busy thinking, the sound of the bells on his arms kept ringing.

"Impossible...I remember my master is here!...I remember visiting her together with dragon king Malakar!!"

The human king swallowed his saliva that felt bitter, his head also felt dizzy hearing the words of Gede Gentasura.

’How old is this damn mystical creature...’

The dwarf king shook his head to respond to Gede Gentasura.

"Unfortunately that is not possible. Dragon king Malakar has died thousands of years ago, now his grandson is the dragon king."

A gust of cold wind seemed to hit the long white fur of Gede Gentasura when he heard what the dwarf king said.

Gede Gentasura grabbed his rough long hair with both of his hands and shook his head, the sound of his bells rang wildly.

"Impossible...impossible...I must meet Malakar!...only he can guide me to my master!..." the voice of Gede Gentasura became heavier and echoed.

The human king and the dwarf king looked at each other, the human king shook his head, he whispered.

"This will be difficult...."

Meanwhile Gede Gentasura became more and more uncontrollable, his rough white hair mixed with his white fur began to fall as he kept pulling it, his head was attacked by pain that kept stabbing, slowly around his body a cold white aura appeared.

The human king and the dwarf king immediately prepared for the worst possibility they would face, but something suddenly happened.

Gede Gentasura who was pulling his own hair slowly stopped, a calming scent soothed him, a scent that he knew very well was now smelled again by him.

Gede Gentasura tried to raise his head, a dazzling light appeared shocking him, Gede Gentasura closed his eyes that were blinded even though they were covered by his mask.

The movement of Gede Gentasura felt sudden when seen by the human king and the dwarf king, the hairs on their necks stood, they knew what phenomenon was being experienced by Gede Gentasura.

Meanwhile Gede Gentasura felt a cold air penetrate his skin behind his long white fur, tears came out from his mask unconsciously wetting his fur.

A voice echoed inside his ears that made his crying burst even more, Gede Gentasura fell to the ground, he lowered his head and prostrated toward something that appeared before him.

A voice was heard echoing inside his mind, a voice that he had longed for was now heard again.

"Raise your head...my first creation."

The body of Gede Gentasura trembled violently, he raised his head and looked at the sky that shone brightly in the middle of the night.

Its light continued to burn Gede Gentasura but he continued to endure the pain, smoke came out from his mask that continued to be exposed to that light.

Behind his mask, Gede Gentasura slowly opened his eyes to see his master that he had long missed, a groan came out from behind his mask.

His eyes trembled when seeing his master that shone in his eyes, his master was as big as the sky like a rising sun, her long hair spread as if it could sweep the entire land, her eyes were covered by a black cloth that made Gede Gentasura unable to see the entirety of his master’s face.

The entire body of Gede Gentasura was drenched in sweat, he tried to open his mouth that was choked.

"Master...your eyes...."

Gede Gentasura who could not withstand the pressure of his master immediately returned to prostrating, while his master spoke again which made every bone of Gede Gentasura tremble.

"Come quickly my first creation...we must take revenge on him..."

A gust of wind hit Gede Gentasura, the giant hand of his master stretched toward him, Gede Gentasura felt his power increase, he slowly forced himself to stand, he spread his arms and began to dance, every movement of his hands rang the bells that he wore on his arms, every movement of his neck rang another bell tied to his mask.

Tears of happiness came out from the gaps of Gede Gentasura’s mask, and in an instant his body was grasped by his master’s hand, and in an instant also the white aura that he had overflowed out of his body, Gede Gentasura screamed in excitement in the middle of the night, his scream made everyone turn toward him.

Meanwhile the human king and the dwarf king only stood still staring at Gede Gentasura who was filled with overflowing white aura, their expressions showed dissatisfaction.

And when Gede Gentasura’s scream ended, he began to look at the human king and the dwarf king, his voice became colder as his white aura enveloped him.

"My master is on this land, take me to her."

The face of the dwarf king became sharp, his hand clenched and his leg shifted slightly.

"I already told you, your master is not here."

A cold breath came out through the mask of Gede Gentasura, the white aura that enveloped him became even more wild.

"So you are trying to obstruct."

The human king clicked his tongue, he slightly lowered his posture.

"Return calmly to the other side, Gede Gentasura. Or you will never receive revelation from your master again."

Silence enveloped the three of them, but without any signal the three of them released pressure throughout the entire area.

The human king and the dwarf king pushed their mana to the maximum limit while Gede Gentasura’s white aura continued to grow wild.
