" So what are our next steps, we need a way to make money if we’re going to keep staying here." Sam asked.

" We could always farm, my blood will ensure the seeds grow faster and healthier than normal but I doubt that would be enough."

" Mercenaries." John suddenly came out from the underground bunker and made a suggestion.

" Explain."

" Well, since I’ve been here I’ve noticed a few people have trouble with completing some tasks.

Specifically those that are dangerous, most races aren’t very strong but they’re good at other things.

However they always find it hard to find somebody they can hire to do the dangerous things for them.

My suggestion is that we become mercenaries." His suggestion sounded sound.

Adrian nodded. " Okay, that can be done, we can take advantage of the black market’s ability to transport people anywhere."

" We can’t do everything by ourselves, besides, we’re supposed to be in hiding, the more we draw attention the easier we’ll be to find." Suzie spoke shutting them down.

" Are you saying the mercenary idea is a bad idea?" Adrian asked.

Suzie shook her head, " No but instead of us being the mercenaries, we could be the middle men.

People will give us missions, we register those willing to be mercenaries, give them the missions and take a commission.

Of course our own people can also be mercenaries, that way it would be easier to hide amongst others."

Adrian nodded, " That makes more sense, good, we’ll do that then." The conversation ended there.

The full moon was close so Adrian called every werewolf. 18 omega and 13 Gemma werewolves.

Diego and Isabella were included amongst them. There would’ve been 19 omega now had one not died.

Adrian first thanked them for their loyalty which caused some of them to weep with tears of Joy.

Especially two, the Nameless giant and Naija. This creepy spectacle made Annie shiver.

Adrian shared the sentiment but he had learnt to ignore it because telling them not to worship him had the opposite effect.

Then he rewarded them, this was why he called them here. He fed each of them his blood starting with the omega.

He would need to regenerate his heart blood to feed the Gemma. His heart blood was not as easy to create as his normal blood.

The following day he had fully regenerated, he then fed the Gemma his blood. On the next full moon, they would all rank up.

The night of that same day, he finally bit Annie. " You’re scared?" He asked and she nodded.

" I understand, it’s a scary thing, I would be scared too but ah, why are you naked?"

" Huh?" Annie looked confused. " You said it was time we do it, I thought I’m supposed to be naked.

Or maybe you prefer doing it with clothes on? That’s okay too I can get dressed if that’s what you prefer."

Adrian paused, " What exactly did you think I was talking about when I said it’s time we do it?"

" Adult stuff of course, it’s fine Adrian, I think I’m ready too..wait you weren’t talking about sex were you?"

He shook his head and she closed her eyes in embarrassment. " You idiot, you’ve made me get naked for nothing."

She rushed to put on her clothes with Adrian laughing at her. Then he hugged her from behind.

Annie could feel his reaction but she didn’t say anything. She was flattered in fact, at least she knew he desired her.

" While I appreciate the thoughts and believe me, I really want to pounce on you right now, I doubt you’d be able to handle me."

She turned and looked at him, " Oh, is that so? You’re that confident in your ability? Why don’t we try it then?"

Adrian immediately realised she misunderstood. " No that’s not what I meant, in a heated moment I’m not sure I’d be able to hold back my strength, I might end up hurting you."

" Oh, you’re right, you’re right." She got dressed. " So, what were you talking about then."

Adrian held her tighter and she could feel his breath on her neck. She found herself moaning.

The mate’s bond was effecting her the more time she spent with him even though she was still human.

Adrian was the same, it took every ounce of self control he had to not pounce on her right there.

" I was talking about this." His eyes turned silver and fangs grew on his mouth and he bit her.

She flinched only once then held Adrian tighter. He injected the transformation venon into her.

At the same time he injected every drop of heart blood he had. The process lasted nearly an entire minute.

When he was done he almost fell over from exhaustion. Drawing that much heart blood was not an easy thing to do.

" So what’s next?" She asked looking exhausted as well. If somebody entered the house right now.

Based on how she’s dressed and the sweat dripping on them, they would certainly have the wrong idea.

" What about my family?" She asked and Adrian shrugged.

" Your siblings are too young and I think it’s best your parents become part of your lineage."

" Lineage?"

" Yeah, any werewolf above omega can turn others, those turned by them become part of their direct lineage.

Those directly turned by me are members of the main lineage and frankly, I don’t want to turn a lot of people.

You will understand after the full moon, the connection between a sire and those they’ve turned is stronger than others.

Of course as the progenitor, all werewolves are connected to me but the connection between other werewolves is stronger between a sire and the sired."

She understood the concept, if she turned her parents she would have a stronger connection with them. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

If they’re turned by Adrian, that connection will not be as strong. It would be there since they would all be members of the main lineage.

But it won’t be as strong as between a sire and those they’ve sired. Or at least that’s what she believed he meant and she was right.

" So can I turn them now?" She asked.

" Well no, you’re not a werewolf yet, you can turn them after the full moon but they’ll have to wait until the next full moon to turn as well."
