Ji Xinyan pleaded for mercy, but her feet didn’t stop moving. Even though Lin Baici was holding her ankle, she kept playfully kicking him.

"The water is just over a meter deep; it wouldn’t drown me!"

Lin Baici’s hand around Ji Xinyan’s waist wasn’t idle, fondling her belly.

The anxious look on the little miss warmed his heart.

"I was afraid you’d hit your head and get a concussion!"

Ji Xinyan rolled her eyes and noticed Lin Baici’s cheeky hand, pinching him: "You’re using this as an excuse to take advantage, aren’t you?"

"Let go, quick!"

"Nope, I’m scared and need a hug for comfort!"

Lin Baici replied confidently.

"How childish are you?"

Ji Xinyan warned Lin Baici: "Pei Fei, Jiaozi, and the others are watching!"

"Let them watch!"

Lin Baici didn’t care: "Or do you want to keep up the single image?"

Ji Xinyan felt a flutter in her heart at those words and teased with a half-smile, "If you dare to announce I’m your girlfriend in front of all the girls..."

"Tonight at the Shangri-La, presidential suite, I’ll cover the room and Durex costs!"

It was a joke, a subtle challenge.

"Uh..."

Lin Baici was caught off guard.

"Damn, scumbag!"

Seeing Lin Baici at a loss, Ji Xinyan immediately flipped him off: "You just want a free ride without taking responsibility!"

"I have my reasons!"
