Someone who's been waiting for the perfect moment to strike.”Henry's grip on his fists tightened. “What do you want?”The figure smiled, their mask glinting in the light. “I want to see how fast you really are.”Without warning, the figure took off, their black and purple suit blurring as they sprinted away. Henry's eyes widened, and he grinned.“Game on!” he exclaimed, taking off after the mysterious figure.The two speedsters tore through the city streets, their suits leaving trails of distorted air in their wake. As Henry left a trail of gold lightning so did the figure leave one of purple. Henry's Nitro suit glowed with a brilliant white light as he pushed himself to his limits, his feet pounding the pavement in a blur.The mysterious figure was fast, but Henry was determined to catch up. He focused all his energy on the chase, his senses heightened as he navigated the crowded streets.The city became a colorful blur as the two speedsters clashed in a battle of velocity and agility. Henry's heart pounded with excitement, his mind racing with the thrill of the chase.Who was this mysterious figure, and what did they want? Henry was determined to find out.Crap! Yin Xun wanted to read a light-hearted novel, only to be tricked by the synopsis. It turns out that it was an abusive plot, with the male lead causing the female lead’s family to fall apart, while he imprisoned her with domestic violence and subjected her to all sorts of torment…

only for them to live happily ever after!Finishing the book, Yin Xun complained about the female lead: If I could transmigrate into the book, I will slap you in the face so that you would wake up! In the year of 632, a young Emperor was crowned at an age of eight. He was crowned with a crown of a dying Empire, plagued by enemies, internal strife and plague. This was the Sassanid Empire, and he was Yazdegerd III, the last Sassanid Emperor. He was meant to guide the Empire out of these dark times and he was meant to revive the fallen giant.

But it was not to be. After continuous defeats of the Sassanids, the Empire eventually succumbed to the pressure, both external and internal.

There will be romance - at least I hope so. I am not sure how I'll develop the relationship between the main couple, but I plan to have a bit of romance there.

Although this is a fiction, most of the characters and events occuring are real and this book works with historical events.

And last but not least, you may find this book offensive. After all, it rewrites history completely. And if you do, just don't read it.
