Lore is shared piecemeal, usually only as it relates to a particular arc or character beat.— A heavy focus on mystery, both with the setting and the protagonist. The main character’s backstory isn’t shared up front, and a lot of the narrative involves learning about him a bit at a time, either from his own narration or other characters interacting with him.— A semi-soft magic system where many mages manifest unique powers tied to their own soul, or gain unique powers through eldritch pacts.— Romantic elements. These don’t crop up much until later in the story.— A variety of supernatural beings, such as elves, vampires, gargoyles, chimera, and trolls. Many are familiar, some are not, and most of the familiar ones have my own twists put on them.—Nobledark fantasy. This means that the world is often themed around tragedy and horror, but it’s not dedicated to being gritty. There are elements of high fantasy intermixed with the scarier stuff.—Episodic arcs. Each story arc usually has a specific locale and antagonist or set of antagonists, but certain overarching plots tie them together.— A long running narrative. I don’t have a specific projection of how long or how many arcs or books, but you should expect this to be equivalent to a long running serialized work.This is my first web serial! Hugo was a college student known for his intelligence and handsome looks. Being ranked as the number 1 student in the most renowned school on earth, there was no doubt that many people were envious of him. The only problem was, he was from a poor family.

When everything went downhill, and their family fell into a huge debt, he had no choice but to look for several ways just to earn a huge sum of money. That’s when an unknown man offered him $600,000 just to join a secret experiment being held by the government.

However, it seems like the universe was against his way when Hugo died after the experiment.

On the day of his judgment, Hugo accidentally found a hidden door in heaven. That’s where he met Goddess Thalia, who was known to be the kindest goddess that ever lived on the planet earth.

“Since you found my place, what is your wish, young man?” The woman asked in a sweet voice.

“I want to live again and take revenge on those who have wronged me!”

However, that was not the end of it. The world that Hugo came to was different from the world that he used to live in. And the pandemic that was bound to happen in 3 months was much more deadly than it seemed.

Now with the needed knowledge and skills, let us witness how Hugo gets back at his enemies and becomes the most powerful being in the world!

“President Li, it’s not good, someone smashed into your office.” Li Zhenting’s rosy lips approached Shen Ning’s red lips a little bit, and suddenly, the secretary rushed over in a hurry.

“Bastard, who dares to be so bold?”

“Li, Mr. Li, a four or five-year-old little milk bag, said that you bullied his mother.”

“Uh…” Li Zhenting immediately stood up straight with a serious face.

“Li, President Li, it’s not good, your project information has been stolen.” Li Zhenting was holding a senior management meeting nervously, when the secretary ran over in a panic.

“Presumptuous, who dares to be so bold?” Li Zhenting was furious.

“Li, Mr. Li, three little milk bags, they said, you are sorry for his mommy.”

A group of executives secretly laughed.

Li Zhenting shrank his neck and cleared his voice: “Cough, cough, continue the meeting…”
