Humanity achieved dominion over the galaxy long ago.Once that was accomplished, they turned their ingenuity inwards. With their prowess over biological engineering, they transformed themselves into deific beings now called the Gene Tyrants. For centuries, the Gene Tyrants terrorized the galaxy, designing and abusing their genetically engineered servants and serfs as their whims took them.No tyranny can last forever, though, and the Gene Tyrants were eventually overthrown. The rebels discovered a strange light of the mind called Aether, which gave them the strange and fantastical powers they needed to eradicate their creators. Once that was done, however, that by no means meant peace.In the thousand years since, the face of the galaxy has changed. The most powerful human civilization is called the Supremacy, the homeland of 'might makes right'. In the Supremacy, a crime committed by the strong is no crime at all. With their military strength and mastery of Aether, the Supremacy has spread across the galaxy -- with the other powers able to do little but stall their advance. This struggle has developed into a cold war, and that cold war has frozen over for years now.Dragan Hadrien, a low-level administrator in the Supremacy, cares nothing for any of this. Dragan's primary concern is getting himself a promotion and taking it easy for the rest of his days. Before going to college, an ordinary high school student went to celebrate and got drunk. When he woke up, he found himself in a completely different world. There was a big sect, the approaching sect entrance examination, a slum where his body’s previous owner lived, and a shared memory about a missing young girl.

When he got tangled in a fight with a few punks in this different world, he fell off a cliff and miraculously found himself still alive, with two more voices ringing inside his head. They were Sword Master and Saber Master. In the company of them, he continued to find out more about this whole new world. He took the sect entrance examination, entered the sect, met a strange man in black, and even participated in a major competition of the sect to have a chance to win over his peers!
In this whole new world, he was born again and got to explore the fantastic martial world!

In each world, there would be the ultimate blackened female lead called Lin Xia, and each of them would’ve drowned in the light of their first love, aka the moonlight. Unsurprisingly, all of these moonlights were beautiful, attracting the love and adoration of Lin Xia, but in each and every world, the moonlight would eventually leave in the end, ultimately causing the blackening of Lin Xia’s fragile heart.

Years later, when the blackened Lin Xia finally fell for another woman, the special memories of the moonlight which was buried deep within her blackened heart began to fade, replaced by the light of the true soulmate.

And when the memories of the moonlight faded to almost nothing, the moonlight returned abruptly, only to be rejected by the moved-on Lin Xia. Filled with a crazed sense of jealousy, the moonlight began to destroy the new couples’ lives, only to be hated entirely and finally, crushed cruelly by the angered female lead.

And this is where the story begins, as a world-hopper, Ye SangSang would complete her missions in these worlds.
