The two figures ahead finally slowly parted, the woman burying herself directly into the man’s arms, while the man slowly turned his head to look over in Jillian Carter’s direction.

Upon clearly seeing the man’s face, Jillian Carter was utterly shocked, swiftly switching the car’s headlights to low beam, and then staring intently at the face of the man ahead.

"Mr. Black!"

Jillian Carter ran down from the car, full of delight as she approached the man up front, "What a coincidence to bump into you here."

But Jillian’s surprise only lasted for a few seconds. When she got up close to James Black, she saw that he still had his arms around another woman, and then she remembered what she had just seen.

She had just seen the couple by the car embracing and kissing each other, unable to part.

At this moment, the woman’s entire face was nestled into the man’s chest, making it impossible for Jillian Carter to discern her features.

"Who are you?" Jillian Carter asked through gritted teeth.

Jane Sampson in James Black’s arms almost burst out laughing.

She reached a hand to push on James Black’s chest, slowly, gradually lifting her head from James Black’s embrace to look at Jillian Carter in front of her.

"Oh my, how shy you are, look, it’s all because you insisted on playing kissy-kissy on the roadside. See, we’ve been spotted! How embarrassing!" Jane Sampson gently punched James Black’s chest and then waved at Jillian Carter, beaming with a radiant smile, "Miss Carter, what a coincidence to meet you here."

After waving, Jane Sampson wrapped her arms around James Black’s waist once again, her voice oozing with coquettish charm, "Miss Carter’s question is rather embarrassing, I’m his wife, who else could he be kissing if not me?"

Jane Sampson’s coquettish tone caused James Black’s body to quiver involuntarily.

James Black thought about it; he had watched Jane Sampson grow up since she was young, and then later on they got married, but he had never heard Jane Sampson speak with this tone of voice.

So cutesy, no matter how he listened, it felt odd.

But James Black also knew that Jane Sampson was deliberately trying to upset Jillian Carter, so he didn’t blow her cover, and as Jane Sampson spoke, James Black reached out and caressed her head.

Jillian Carter, on the other hand, was fuming with anger. She would rather see James Black holding and kissing another woman, than to see that woman be Jane Sampson!

If it were another woman, at least that would prove that James Black and Jane Sampson’s marital relationship was not good. If James Black could be with another woman, then he could also be with her.

But to her dismay, the couple, even after many years of marriage, could still be so intimate as to kiss on the roadside!

The more this was the case, the more envious Jillian Carter became.

Why couldn’t she be the one in James Black’s embrace? Why couldn’t she be the one James Black cherished so dearly?

She had been looking for James Black for so many years, so why did she still have to see James Black holding another woman?

The more angry Jillian Carter became, the happier Jane Sampson felt inside.

Jane Sampson still remembered the incident with William King; Jillian Carter was really despicable, willing to disgrace her to annoy her, even at the cost of framing her brother’s good friend William King.

"Oh dear, husband, it’s so cold~ Hold me tighter~" Jane Sampson put on a frail and delicate act within James Black’s embrace, even pretending to stomp her feet as if to shake off the cold, her whole being almost desperate to cling onto James Black.

James Black glanced at Jane Sampson but mistook her act as really being cold, and directly took off his coat to drape over Jane Sampson. He, however, did not say a single word.
