Jane Sampson watched James Black’s actions and had only one thought in her mind.

Is this man stupid!

Can’t he see she was pretending?

In this weather, taking off his coat for her, did he want to freeze to death or roast her alive?

So annoying! How could there be such an idiot like James Black!

Hasn’t he realized she was just playacting?

Originally, Jane wanted to irritate Jillian Carter a bit more, but seeing James take off his coat, she didn’t dare to delay any longer, afraid that if she took too long, James might catch a cold.

She tiptoed to kiss James on the lips and smiled sweetly, "Thank you, husband~"

Then she stepped back from James Black’s arms, took his hand, and said, "It’s getting late, husband, let’s go home early and roll in the sheets!"

James’s gaze flickered with surprise.

This was undoubtedly the most forward Jane had ever been.

"Oops!" Jane took a couple of steps then suddenly clapped her hands, "Why am I speaking so euphemistically in front of an unmarried girl? If I’m too subtle, how will she understand?"

With a provocative look, Jane glanced at Jillian but spoke to James, "Husband, let’s go home and make love, okay~ Tonight, I’m on top, you’re below, I’ll move, and you lie there. I’ll drain you to the point where you won’t recover for days."

Jillian Carter was several steps away from Jane, but James was right by Jane’s side, their hands still clasped together.

Therefore, James immediately noticed Jane’s ears turning red before she could finish speaking.

To infuriate Jillian, she had sacrificed all her inhibitions.

James chuckled inwardly, Jane’s talent for provoking others, it seemed, was not aimed solely at him.

"Let’s go home." James opened the car door, scooped up Jane into the co-pilot seat, then bypassed Jillian to get into the driver’s seat. He quickly started the car, as if not seeing Jillian at all, and drove away.

If Peter Gingery were here right now, he would surely detect the urgency in James’s actions.

Jane Sampson leaned against the back of the car, watching Jillian shrink into a tiny dot until out of sight, and then finally burst into laughter.

"Hahaha, it’s so satisfying! I’m overjoyed!" Jane turned around dancing and flailing happily. Just now she saw Jillian jumping with rage in place after James drove off, and later even kicked her own car in frustration.

"The angrier she gets, the happier I am. The moon is so beautiful tonight~" Jane joyfully shook her leg and began humming, "I must admit it’s the moon’s fault. When the moonlight is so beautiful and gentle, in that moment, all I want is to fight with you until our hair turns grey..."

The corners of James Black’s mouth twitched almost imperceptibly; she always had the ability to suddenly change the lyrics.

"Are you happy?" James finally asked her.

"Absolutely." Jane nodded vigorously, then took off her coat, turned to James and scolded, "Were you stupid just now? I said I was cold, and you took off your clothes for me? Couldn’t you see I was just faking?" 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

"I saw through it," James replied.

"Even then you still took it off? Weren’t you afraid of freezing to death?" Jane humphed and muttered under her breath, "Just stupid."

"Taking it off for you made her angrier, the angrier she gets, the happier you are, right?" James countered.

Jane was left speechless by James’s question; he was right.

But isn’t he worried about catching a cold? What if she didn’t want to end things quickly out of affection?
