CAT WARLOCK: This Darklord Feasts Upon Horror
Chapter 333: Steel Palace
Bash’s piece knocked the two other pieces over.
In the game world, the winged demon and the ground demon were caught by Bash.
Bash jumped up to the air. Omnimotion carried him even higher.
"Bash slam!"
The demon shot straight down like a missile. Hellfire wrapped around Bash. The winged and ground demon struck Bash repeatedly with their powers. But Bash’s grasp was solid like rock.
He slammed them on the ground, blowing up the dust and debris into the air. A large hole was created by the slam, going a few met deep in the ground.
The winged demon died immediately. He was a glass cannon and couldn’t withstand much damage.
The ground demon survived. But not for long.
Bash stepped on him and pinned him on the ground. He continued to bash the living hell out of the demon with his punches.
The hole sank lower and expanded with each punch.
Finally, the head of the ground demon exploded.
On the table, the two pieces broke into pieces. Two of Kaera’s pieces were destroyed completely.
"Unbelievable. He is only a Rank-2 but his power is immeasurable." Kaera said.
The black cat shrugged. "A simple compliment would be enough."
"Tch." Kaera clicked her tongue. The cat was too arrogant. But she had to admit, in a one on one battle, even at her full potential, Kaera couldn’t beat Bash.
"Let’s see how the story evolves." Kaera said.
Bash jumped out of the hole and landed right next to Tanya.
Tanya gulped instinctively. When she heard of demon, she pictured something like Bash. Pure unrelenting force that would destroy anything in its way.
"Who are you? Why are you here?"
"Crow said you can help me." Tanya said.
Bash’s expression softened immediately. A Blood Mask formed on his face. His body shrank to the size of a small child, his demonic characteristics disappeared.
"Crow? That lazy bastard finally decided to do something with his life. Come, you can stay at my palace."
Bash and Solarix led Tanya back to their demonic palace in the river of lava. They had a fortress right next to the Red River where a lot of demons and other species frequently visited. It was a completely different society compared to human.
Tanya observed everything with curiosity and wonder.
"I’ve never though demons could build such a place. I thought you were..."
"Savage?" Solarix smiled.
"Not to that extent. I just thought you would be much more chaotic." 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
Bash laughed, "Don’t lie to me now! Demons are savages. But we can coexist with each other in peace. Of course, I have to be there to maintain order. Otherwise, demons would just be at their throats all the times."
"We’re here. The Steel Flower." Solarix said.
They arrived at Bash’s palace. An iteration of his Steel Flower inside the Floor of Fire. The difference was Bash had many servants and demons living within the Steel Palace.
Solarix first led Tanya to their royal bathhouse to clean her up. The servants took care of her from head to toe like a princess.
She hadn’t felt like this since the fall of Valeria. It was like she returned to her old life again.
They dined after Tanya wad properly dressed by the royal designer. The dining room was on one of the petals that looked out to the Red River below.
"So... I heard Solarix said you are a Half-Blood?" Bash in her child form was piercing a shrimp like creature. The creature burst out lava from within it.
Bash chomped down on it like it was the tastiest meal ever.
"That’s right... I think my mother is a demon. I don’t know who she is thought. My father never told me."
"Which king is it?" Solarix said.
"Excuse me?" Tanya widened her eyes briefly.
"A demon wouldn’t just be charmed by anyone. If your father could seduce a demon, he must not be a nobody. I think he must at least be a king." Solarix smiled gently.
Tanya lowered her head and stayed silent.
Bash coughed, "Such a sensitive matter can’t be easily disclosed, Sol. You don’t need to answer that question, Tanya."
"It’s alright... It’s just. He’s dead. I’m the last heir of Valeria."
"The fallen kingdom?" Solarix raised an eyebrow. "I see. That is the reason for your hesitation. It’s a good call to keep your identity a secret. Your enemy would do anything to kill you."
"Luckily, we are demons so we don’t really care about human politics." Bash sighed. "Why did Crow send you here?"
"He said you can help me master my demonic side."
Bash and Solarix grinned widely.
"We can certainly do that. Solarix, you’re up for the task?" Bash said.
"Of course, brother."
Kaera leaned back on her chair. "And now there is nothing to stop you anymore. If she masters her demonic power, she can certainly absorb me."
The black cat floated around using Omnimotion. "How do you feel about joining us now? Better?"
"I won’t give you an easy win. We already have a deal. If you win, I will join you."
"That’s not the point now, Kaera."
Mater approached the demon and lifted her chin. "I like you. But Crow also likes Tanya. I, of course, as a good Master, won’t snatch my servant’s lover. What do you think if I say I can preserve your mind?"
Kaera frowned. "You can do that?"
"I certainly do." The black cat grinned widely.
Mater had an idea. He didn’t know if it’s possible yet. But he thought that it had a very successful rate. Tanya was a pure resident of this world, she had a Psycho Force. The demon, however, was a pure being of Chaos.
These two didn’t align. Mater only needed to find a way to create a body for Kaera, which he already had the material for.
The hand of Xara, a Rank-4 demon. Its power should be enough to construct an entire new body for a Rank-2 demon.
Kaera thought for a while. She thought carefully.
"Are you value me because of my power? Or my body?" Kaera said.
Mater grinned widely. The perverted cat sniffed her hair deeply.
"I’m an honest cat. I like both."
