Captured By The Cold Detective (BL) - Chapter 206: Young And Reckless
Just looking into Ku Jin’s bottomless eyes that flickered as if a burning ember had been ignited within, Jia Molei already knew what he was insinuating at. And the shocking realization had him erupting in another fit of anger.
This damned... sick pervert! How could this man think of something like this all day long?! He was a sick patient, okay?! No, fuck, even if he was not sick, there was no way he would go along with this pervert’s whimsical ideas ever again!
Jia Molei cursed a storm in his heart, arms trembling from the force of his rage. He was really tempted to punch this man right on the face right now even if he knew that the possibility of him winning was nearly zero. But in the end, he refused to fall into Ku Jin’s rhythm and let go of his collar just like that. "Do you think I will let you lead me around by the nose like what you did all those years ago?" He sneered when he saw the obvious disappointment in Ku Jin’s face. "Wake up, it’s already 2023. I am no longer the young and reckless guy I used to be. You and I will never go back to how we were before, so you’d better erase that idea from your goddamn mind sooner or later before I call the police to this place!"
"You will call the police?" Ku Jin raised a brow. "And expose our relationship?"
"Relationship, your ass! We have no relationship to speak of!"
Ku Jin tutted. "No? But I remember clearly how we have never ended things between us..."
"Fuck! Don’t talk as if we have some kind of intimate relationship!" Jia Molei rubbed the goosebumps in his arms. His teeth ached so badly as if it was going to fall out as he listened to Ku Jin spouting nonsense without batting an eyelid. He pointed at Ku Jin’s nose and declared angrily, "We’re only fucking, okay?! Keep it in your stupid brain, fuck buddies! That’s all we are ever going to be!"
Jia Molei regretted it. He regretted it so much that his intestines were turning green. Why oh why... why was he so adventurous and dauntless back in his twenties?
Back then, for him, Ku Jin was the combination of danger, adrenaline, and beauty wrapped in one complete package. Because come on, who wouldn’t be dazzled by bad boys when they were young? Certainly not Jia Molei. And all those years ago, Ku Jin was the baddest of them all and provoked his desire to conquer to no end...
Now look at what kind of situation they end up in!
If Jia Molei could go back in time, he would rather shoot himself in the head than give himself a chance to court death with Ku Jin for the second time. Who could have guessed that this wild beast would become incomparably sticky and chase after him day and night? If he were to lower his guard down even by a fraction, he would definitely be chewed clean until not even a bone remained!
"Hmm..." Ku Jin narrowed his eyes.
That was all the warning Jia Molei got before Ku Jin sprung up like a wild cheetah, grabbed his arm and yanked him forward until he was lying on the sofa with the man hovering above him. The sudden movement tugged on the barely scabbing wounds on his chest and it hurt so much that Jia Molei’s vision whitened in a split second. He gasped. Fucking hell... that freaking hurt! He was going to kill this man today. Jia Molei was going to stab him and tear him to pieces and no one would be able to tell him otherwise!
"That’s all we are ever going to be?" Ku Jin repeated his previous sentence word by word. Alarm bells started to ring in Jia Molei’s head, but before he could open his mouth, Ku Jin added with a tiny provoking smirk on the corner of his mouth. "Ah... I never realized that you wanted more. My bad."
Jia Molei almost fainted due to anger. My bad, your ass! Who wanted your apology?! He struggled like mad and tried to push Ku Jin off him. "Get off...! Fuck, you’re pressing on my wounds!"
"Oops." Ku Jin propped himself up, but it did not mean that he would give Jia Molei the slightest chance to escape. He grabbed Jia Molei’s wrists with one hand, pressed another hand on Jia Molei’s abdomen where he was not injured and used his long and powerful legs to pin Jia Molei’s legs down. And fuck, Jia Molei could not budge a bit or else he was going to aggravate his wounds. In the end, the one who had to suffer was him!
"Uh-huh, don’t even think of escaping." He clicked his tongue and shook his head in exasperation. "I really have no idea what’s going on in that head of yours. Do you really think it’s so easy to get rid of me? Hmm? Haven’t learned your lesson yet?"
"You still fucking dare to bring this up?!" He roared, his chest heaving in extreme rage.
The ’lesson’ Ku Jin was talking about could be traced back to what had happened last night. The man had insisted on applying medicine on him, saying that he would not be able to reach all those tricky places by himself. How could Jia Molei not see through his real intention? In the end, all Ku Jin wanted to do was to get a rise out of him!
He could not bring himself to undress in front of this beast, not over his dead body! And as a result... they tussled with each other, broke one glass vase, almost overturned the sofa before Jia Molei finally gritted out, "Fine! Fine, I will let you do it! Stop pulling on my legs, damn it!"
If he had not given up, Ku Jin would have worn him out until he passed out before toying with him. No! He could not let that happen! Just thinking about it was enough to make him want to bash his head against the nearest wall and die! In the end, he had to swallow his anger, vexation and frustration as he took his shirt off and let Ku Jin dab the medicinal cotton on his wounds...
At least, the crazy guy did not come up with anything funny again after that, or else Jia Molei was going to hack him to pieces! Period!
Nonetheless, due to the overexhaustion, he still passed out as soon as his head hit the pillow, contracted a high fever in the wee hours in the morning and was forced to get a day off. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
Calm down, Molei. You can’t use your temper here, he repeatedly told himself. Ku Jin knew him all too well, and in exchange, he also knew Ku Jin’s habit and temperament. This guy liked to rile him up just to get a reaction out of him, just like a kindergarten child trying to draw the attention of the person he was interested in, albeit Ku Jin’s method was a bit too... extreme, to say the least.
"So..." Ku Jin deliberately dragged on his tone, making it sound extremely annoying to Jia Molei’s ears. "The reason why you were willing to do it with me back then... is because you’re young and reckless?"
’You missed the whole goddamn point! I just don’t want to have anything to do with you ever again!’ was what Jia Molei wished he could screech out loud. However, he knew that this guy’s brain often worked differently and he would be selective to filter only what he wanted to hear. Trying to slap some sense into his head was more difficult than teaching a pig how to fly. Jia Molei’s chest was heaving violently as he spat out, "What do you think?"
"What you mean to say is... you’re no longer young and reckless, huh?" Ku Jin laughed and shook his head. The hand that was resting on Jia Molei’s abdomen suddenly slid down toward the dangerous area.
Jia Molei bristled. "Hey, you—"
"But what should I do?" Ku Jin tilted his head. His expression was akin to an innocent child, except those terrifying dark eyes that were as bottomless as the abyss. They were transfixed on Jia Molei akin to sharp glaciers, freezing the blood in his veins. "I really, really don’t want to let you go. How about this? I have no way to make you younger, but..." he smiled sweetly. "Should I give you a reason to be reckless?"
Jia Molei was startled. Somehow he did not have a good feeling about this. "... What do you mean?"
"Let’s go back to the darkness, Molei. It’s too bright here... it makes me feel uncomfortable." Ku Jin said his plea in such a gentle and seductive tone, as though he was a vampire trying to lure a maiden into the coffin with him. His eyes gleamed with an indescribable light. "Won’t it be better to return to how it was? When the underworld was our playground to mess with?"
