 Benedict certainly wanted to get rid of Bran and be done with it. He almost sent a signal to his people to blast Bran, but Grand General Senton and Grand General Marko moved first. The two figures came down from the wall and stood in front of the dead bodies.
 Both Grand Generals had fought Commander Zilgard of the Dominion. No one else knew about Commander Zilgard more than them. Only two of them could confirm whether the corpse was real or not.
 Grand General Senton snatched the corpse and put it down as both examined the corpse. They hardly recognized Zilgard with how much blood was on the body with so many holes on the body. They first made sure there was no illusion spell cast on the body. After triple-checking the body, they could not find a single spell on the body.
 They started to clear the body and got a clear look on the face. They gasped in surprise because they recognized the face. The face they would never forget for the rest of their lives. To make sure Bran did not trick them, they checked the bone structure on the body, in case Bran used some weird skill they did not know.
 Bran first watched with a smug face because this was something he should be proud of, killing Commander Zilgard. But it soon turned into annoyance because both Grand Generals still did not believe him even with the body of Commander Zilgard in front of them.
 Tang Shaoyang warned him before he left and gave Commander Zilgard’s body to him. He thought the warning was unnecessary because he believed it would be easy to convince his people. But he was clearly wrong. He could understand if Young Lord Benedict and Young Lord Albin’s people doubted him, but not the Grand General.
 "I think you have confirmed the body is real, Grand Generals!" Bran shook his head, "There’s no point for me to fake Commander Zilgard’s dead body because you can find it quickly enough whether I am lying or not. You have your people in the Dominion, and you can confirm it within a few days, no?"
 "You also know they have an army close to our capital. You can send your people to check whether the army is still there. Why would we fake the death of Commander Zilgard when you can easily find out whether we are lying or not?"
 Everyone had confirmed the Dominion Army was coming. The army should arrive today, and both Grand Generals could send their people to scout ahead. Why would Volans do such a stupid scheme like faking a Commander’s dead body? There was no benefit from doing so when it could be easily confirmed because Commander Zilgard was a big figure in the continent.
 "We are sorry for doubting you, Captain Bran. But you know it more than us. The situation in your monarchy is quite complicated, so we have to make sure this is not part of your Young Lord’s scheme. We want to avoid a civil war in the Sorcerer Monarchy when the Dominion is at our front door."
 Grand General Marko stood up and explained why the caution. They were here not just to defend the Sorcerer Monarchy, but they had to make sure there was no civil war because of the succession battle. They were not just helping, but also observing and being the middleman if things went south. With the Chevalier and the Raven Monarchy’s force here, the three young lords would not do something reckless to get the throne.
 Not only that, but they had another mission. It was to help the Sorcerer Monarchy to retake the territories seized by the Dominion. Then they would help the Sorcerer Monarchy to rebuild their border defense to ensure the same incident never happened again. Losing the Sorcerer Monarchy would put the other monarchies in danger.

</div> "Who killed him?" Grand General Senton stood up and his eyes were still on Zilgard’s body.
 Zilgard lost his right shoulder down to the belly, and that shocked him. Who could do something like this to Commander Zilgard? He fought Zilgard many times, and from their many encounters, he only won one battle.
 "You will know once you go there and meet him in person," Bran remembered Tang Shaoyang not to tell anyone that he killed or won the battle by himself.
 Grand General Senton did not force an answer as he scanned Captain Bran from top to bottom. Captain Bran had it rough as well. There were a lot of bent and chips on the armor, blood and dirt covered his hair and face. Some of the blood looked still fresh, and he noticed that Bran was limping earlier.
 He tapped Captain Bran’s shoulder, "Good work, Captain Bran. We are proud of you and your team!"
 The Grand General Senton turned around to the wall. The people were waiting for his confirmation and raised Captain Bran’s head to the air, "Commander Zilgard is dead! We won! Young Lord Volans’ elite soldiers killed Commander Zilgard! We won!"
 Cheers erupted this time, and of course, the chest mostly came from the soldiers from the Raven Monarchy and the Chevalier Monarchy as well as the mercenaries.
 Grand General Marko raised his hand and the cheers stopped, "Bring our elite and the quickest force! We need to do a clean-up!"
 The gate opened and the soldiers flooded out of the city, followed by the mercenaries. Young Lord Albin brought his force as well to follow while Benedict decided to stay behind by telling them the city needed someone to lead. Benedict remained cautious even though both Grand Generals confirmed the death of Commander Zilgard.
 Captain Bran led the force under the two Grand Generals to the battlefield. It was a long journey because they brought a big army even though Bran told them just to bring the elite. They insisted on bringing many, however Captain Bran did not try to match his speed with the army march. He went as fast as possible.
 Only two Grand Generals and God Ranks could match up with his speed, and they left behind the army. Both Grand Generals were worried that this might be a trap just like Benedict told them, but their concerns were squashed the moment they arrived on the battlefield.
 "This is their camp? You guys attacked the Dominion Army’s main camp?" Grand General Marko asked in disbelief.
 He would call them fools for raiding the Dominion Army’s main camp with just one thousand people, but it worked. The camp was laid waste, the smoke still billowed, a lot of pits all over the place whether big or small, and the bodies were still scattered around as the beast in the forest started to come over after smelling the blood. They sensed a lot of beasts at the outer camp, but for some reason, no beast dared to snatch even one body. They stayed out and seemed to be waiting.
 The devastating aftermath was enough proof that a battle happened here, but both Grand Generals quickly noticed that most bodies belonged to the Dominion Army. They did not see bodies from the Volans’ elite force.
 "How many of you die?" Grand General Senton asked.
 Volans must have lost a lot of his people, maybe even all of them with a few God Ranks surviving. However, it still did not make sense how they could win the battle. No matter what strategy they deployed in the battle, the chance of them winning the battle was zero. There was no trace of poison use as well because of the devastating battle.
 "None! No casualty!" Captain Bran proudly responded even though deep inside, he felt wrong about it because he did not join the fight.
 Bran let out a chuckle, "As I said, there’s no reason for me to lie. You will find out soon enough, and I forgot to mention that we received a helping, a massive help because we could never win if not for them. You will meet them soon."

</div> Guild Master Alves made sure that he stayed close to General Senton, and he heard the conversation from the start till now. There was a scenario played in his head, and the moment Captain Bran mentioned help, everything clicked in his head. He knew who helped Young Lord Volans.
 Grand General Senton and Grand General Marko stop questioning Captain Bran, picking up their pace because they want to meet the people who helped Young Lord Volans. As Bran told them, they met with Young Lord Volans’ group.
 Young Lord Volans’ elite soldiers were on the ground, sprawled all four on the ground. They all looked like they had fallen asleep, but then everyone’s attention was on the group of six that stood closest to them. No one didn’t know this group, the infamous group that caused a problem in the court meeting and also the arena.
 "After Team Reds’ performance in the duel, Young Lord Volans hired them to help with the mission, and they played a major role in defeating the Dominion Army," Captain Bran had prepared his story and explained why Tang Shaoyang and his knights were here.
 "If you are looking for the person who killed Commander Zilgard, right? Sir Tang Shaoyang killed him in a battle one against three. Sir Tang Shaoyang killed the Berserker Borsa then he killed the Mirage Gunnar before killing Commander Zilgard. As I said, they played major roles in defeating the Dominion Army."
 The two Grand Generals did not believe in the story because of how clean Tang Shaoyang and his knights were. His clothes and the knights’ armor were too clean for someone who just finished a battle. Not even a speck of blood on their armor. Compared to Young Lord Volans and his elite soldiers, the mercenaries looked clean as if they never joined the fight.
 They could not make it out because of what Captain Bran told them. It just did not make sense in their heads. However, they had no choice but to believe in the narrative because they fought the battle, and there was no reason for Captain Bran to give credit to the mercenaries of the Young Lord Volans’ soldier who killed the commander.
 "I know it’s hard to believe, Grand Generals. But you have witnessed how powerful these people are. You have seen how Sir Gianni killed Sir Hector Willem in the duel," Captain Bran understood their suspicion, and Captain Bran did not want to take credit more than they already did. He wanted people to recognize and acknowledge Team Reds even though Sir Tang Shaoyang did not ask him to do so.
 "It’s still hard to believe even for me, Sir. If I was not here with them, I would not believe it as well. I understand your concern, but there’s no reason for us to lie."
 Of course, there was one person who could confirm the story, the person who posted and accepted the contract from Young Lord Volans. Guild Master Alves could check the mission progress, and he easily pulled out the screen for Team Reds and the guild member’s contracts progress.
