Gazing at the huge apartment building before them, Leon nodded to himself. The building was just a few hundred meters away from the shore, so the air here was fresh and cool.

"We need to confirm if there are any zombies inside."

Selene said calmly as she walked over to the main door, easily breaking the lock and entering the building. The others followed behind her, and spread out to check every inch of the building.

To their surprise, the apartment was completely untouched.

In fact, it seemed to have just been completed a few months ago, ready to be rented out for people who wanted to live in it.

Unfortunately, the apocalypse descended on the world, and even the fate of the owner was unknown.

Pushing those unnecessary thoughts to the back of his mind, Leon glanced at the non-evolvers among them and said, "You guys will be responsible for cleaning this whole place. I want it done by dusk."

The students glanced at each other and nodded, their heads lowered. Quickly searching for cleaning materials, they started their job immediately.

Meanwhile, Leon picked a room for himself and personally cleaned it. With Little West on guard duty, everyone else had also retired into their chosen rooms to relax from the stressful, unwanted journey.

Leon sat on the bed and laid out the rewards he had gotten during their escape. Just as he expected, there were scrolls and treasure cubes. However, there was one other reward that stood out. It was a Basic Ability Upgrade Card!

Leon had been searching for this particular item for a while, and when he finally got it, he was overjoyed.

Still, he didn’t immediately touch it. Instead, he placed it on the bed and looked at the other rewards. There were only two scrolls and three treasure cubes

Picking up the first scroll, Leon read the description that flashed before his eyes.

Leon’s eyes flashed with surprise as he read the description. This was the first time he had seen such a powerful ability, and it made him want to learn it.

However, his soul was currently filled to the brim, and he couldn’t learn it. Besides, deep down in his heart, he knew this ability was more suited for Marie to use.

However, this was obviously from the Star Stream, and Leon appreciated such a reward. After all, one of the things he was lacking was a proper suit of armor.

This Phantom Assault Armor was infinitely better than the combat gear and was almost as good as the Asura Armor that had been destroyed.

He observed the full-body suit with a smile, then went to put it near the wardrobe.

"With everything regarding the rewards settled, he finally turned to Thyra and said, "Thank you for making me eat that fruit before it was completely destroyed."

The beautiful and sexy woman smiled knowingly, and answered.

She playfully pulled Leon’s cheeks, to which he responded by rolling his eyes and lightly smacking her hands away.

Then, he lay on the bed and decided to get some sleep. After all, he was genuinely tired. He could barely keep his eyelids open for a minute longer.

Seeing him sleep on the bed while looking so defenseless, Thyra’s smile softened as she sat beside the bed and gently brushed his hair.

’Really. An anomaly at this level. I can’t wait to see more of your feats!’ The lady thought.

A few hours later, Leon opened his eyes to see the setting sun and the darkening skies. It was evening time.
