Who Designed This Underworld Dungeon? - Chapter 883 - 584: Legend of Red Lion City (Part 2)
In less than a second, the cold-hearted killer suddenly turned into a noisy little student, running up to Uffie as if seeking credit, and even throwing in a mutual taunt.
Luluwo looked at the scene before her, suddenly recalling that indeed, in the Warrior Country, there was a considerable number of dragons living there, and there was still a significant controversy and division between two-legged and four-legged dragons.
For Uffie to take both Abel, a two-legged dragon, and Moer, a four-legged dragon, as disciples without them fighting, showed his skill in handling conflicts.
Uffie, with a kind face, gave each of them a flick on the forehead, saying, "Abel, you first. Is Red Lion City really in that direction?"
Abel, with a yellow vest, immediately said:
"I don’t know if it’s Red Lion City, but it’s the only rather magnificent city in all of Galide, and I also saw a large army of Red Lion soldiers patrolling nearby. It’s definitely Red Lion City!"
"Your eyesight has always been the best, I believe you."
She tossed a candy to Abel, who caught it with his mouth, his face full of happiness.
"Well then, Moer, turn back into a dragon and take us there."
"Got it, Teacher. We four-legged dragons have endurance far superior to the weak two-legged dragons!" Moer said, not forgetting to make a sarcastic remark to Abel, who glared at him, but Moer just smiled and ignored him.
In the Warrior Country, dragons with intelligence who are able to learn can master a technique that allows them to transform between their dragon and human forms. Both forms have their own advantages, but each transformation requires a not-so-short cooldown period.
It’s said that this technique was created by a court Great Magic Sage from Warrior Country a long time ago in history, truly a testament to the wisdom of the ancients.
By the way, the technique Fane’s father used to transform from a Monster to a human was also derived based on that Magic Sage’s technique.
"Grr, uh, hiss...."
With a strange muffled groan, Moer’s body began to expand, eventually transforming completely into a dark green four-legged dragon, its menacing horns standing proud, and its broad back large enough to carry everyone present!
Though it does look a bit fat....
"Let’s go, since we’ve found the direction, let’s go see Red Lion City." Uffie said excitedly.
"Is it really okay to ignore the Magic Array, Celia?" Luluwo was still a bit worried, considering today’s target should have been Magic Town, yet Uffie changed the objective after entering.
"Don’t worry, Lanle won’t say much, and he’s also curious about Red Lion City."
With Uffie’s assurance, the Skyrim Strategy Group finally climbed onto Moer’s back, and once everyone secured themselves with magic, the four-legged giant dragon flapped its wings and shot into the sky like a cannonball, displaying power capable of shattering mountaintops!
"Slower!" Uffie immediately knocked on his head, making the speed slow down at once.
As Moer undertook the role of transportation towards the suspected Red Lion City, everyone started chatting.
"Did you hear about Red Lion City hosting a Battle Festival, somewhat similar to this country’s War Festival?" Berto adjusted his glasses. "Could it be related?"
"I’m not sure, I just found out a couple of days ago that there’s also a Battle Festival in Sain Dungeon." Uffie shook her head.
Information about the Battle Festival came from a group of rather ordinary adventurers.
It’s said that while wandering in Nimgefo, that group of adventurers heard cries for help, and followed the sound, only to find a warrior pot stuck in a large pit.
And it was the talking kind!
Although the adventurers were quite scared, they exerted a lot of effort to save it, and after a conversation, confirmed that this warrior pot wasn’t a Monster, but a residual shadow that could communicate normally, named Alexander, who had set out on a journey to become stronger, a very classic character setting.
After being rescued, Alexander rewarded the adventurers, and after the adventurers received their blessing and returned, he was already gone. No one knows if he’d fall into a pit again, which is definitely concerning.
But before leaving, he revealed some explosive information to the adventurers: he was going to participate in the Battle Festival held in Red Lion City to fight alongside various heroes and also invited the adventurers who saved him to join in.
The adventurers were shocked and excited, agreeing repeatedly, and then....
They went to the Golden Lion Commerce and sold the information for a good price, and never entered the dungeon again.
As it turns out, when enough people enter a dungeon, even hidden items buried in odd corners will inevitably be unearthed.
Uffie naturally learned of this, and upon entering Sain Dungeon today, temporarily adjusted her target, first sending her two dragon disciples to explore and find Red Lion City.
However, since Abel, Moer, and the Skyrim Strategy Group hadn’t defeated Greg yet, this time they chose to enter the memories of Greg.
"Battle Festival, War Festival...."
Uffie muttered these two terms, and thinking of Alexander’s words about fighting with General Latan at the Battle Festival, she immediately felt the Battle Festival was more appealing.
If she really got to spar with Latan, giving up the War Festival wouldn’t be out of the question!
"Look, we’re almost there, it’s that city."
Abel said, and after a while longer, people saw a vast city perched above an endless wilderness in the distance, exuding an aura of solemnity that could be felt even from afar, a true military fortress where tens of thousands of soldiers wouldn’t seem out of place.
"This must be Red Lion City." Uffie judged just by sensing the momentum.
Not only the momentum, in front of Red Lion City, they also saw a massive number of soldiers, each hardened and determined, with Fighting Qi reaching the skies.
Making one feel that these Red Lion soldiers could fight ten Greg soldiers each!
"They seem to be fighting giant dogs?"
A small squad broke off from the massive number of soldiers, charging forward to battle the giant dogs invading the camp, while the main force remained unmoved, standing like an unbreakable wall, firmly guarding the Red Lion City entrance.
"Slow down here."
Uffie called out, and then looked toward the Red Lion soldiers fighting the giant dogs.
The soldiers’ skilled and synchronized fighting style against Monsters was so expertly executed that it was pleasing to watch.
Giant dogs, with their ferocious aggression and sharp fangs, could scatter an entire adventurer group with just two or three of them, causing adventurers considerable distress.
Yet seasoned adventurers already knew that "beast type enemies" in Sain Dungeon equate to "Mad Dogs," so even if they’d never encountered a Monster before, seeing one with a fierce beast appearance prompts them to avoid it at all costs, no matter the rewards!
On the battlefield below, the Red Lion soldiers remained unfazed against over ten giant dogs, dispatching the beasts with lightning speed and minimal casualties.
"In the future, I’ll train soldiers with this coordination model." Uffie muttered to herself.
She saw many Red Lion soldiers present, but recalling how they appeared all over Galide, it could be assumed that those stationed here were merely a small part of Latan’s army, with more soldiers out battling corruption.
"Let’s charge straight in, over the high wall with one go!" She commanded, and Moer immediately accelerated towards the top of the wall, planning to bypass the tightly shut city gate directly.
If flying, of course, one has to leverage that advantage!
Luluwo was horrified by the sight, exclaiming repeatedly, "No, you can’t fly over like this, there will definitely be emplacements—"
"Clang clang...."
Before she could finish, a massive mechanism sounded.
"Catapults, a whole bunch of catapults!"
All the Red Lion soldiers noticed them, and all the catapults activated in unison, fire-breathing projectiles ready to launch.
And not just the catapults, the Red Lion Knights on the ground below picked up big bows, drawing arrows and aiming them at Moer far above, the dark purple Gravity Magic gathering formidable power on the arrows.
On the wall, suddenly a gap opened directly facing Moer, revealing a strangely shaped mechanism inside.
This mechanism, remodeled by Gong Qiying, had a design more fitting for Red Lion City, but its original form was....
[Dragon-slaying Spear]!
