'Wait, I'm Supposed to Become a Goddess?! But I'm a Guy!'
Chapter 203: A new child that guards the two world
"Your highness's eyes are truly terrifying" A soft and gentle voice came from the void on the side, and Saka draped in a cool black robe walked out.
His long dark hair trailing back like a river of darkness, as he arrived before Mize, clasped his hand respectfully, and saluted, "This humble one greeted her highness"
He smiled, straightening his spine back, and looked towards the space crack briefly, "No wonder the commotions, your highness is here after all."
The low chuckle he gave made Mize's skin crawl, and she had to give Saka a wary glance, "And you..."
"You should be, Saka? No?" Mize regarded him with a glance, and the tone of seemingly wanting to recognize rather than she already knew, it caught Saka off guard.
The perfect picture of a memory lost patient must be kept, Mize doesn't want her plan to end too early.
But as if he remembered something, he nodded, "I am Saka, your highness... "
"I see... " Mize nodded, and turned her gaze forward.
"I tried closing it, but it seems to be quite stubborn at the moment" Mize said, tapping the space crack casually with her fingers.
An act that none of them dared, due to how unstable the space crack was.
But Mize casually did so, and nothing happened to her. Saka and Titrus saw this and couldn't help but swallowed their breath.
'She touched it with her hand!'
But they kept their composure.
Saka nodded to this, "No wonder the lord seems to be in such a good mood just now, it seems that her highness awakening has brought back the lord's smile again"
"You flatter me, Saka" Mize gave him a glance from the corner of her eyes, and circled around the space crack several more times, "Tell me, the reasons why Liam stationed his army here instead of surrounding it... Could there be some benefits from this space crack that I am unaware of?"
"Yes, there are" Saka smiled.
And the main reason he came here was solely for that reason, "Killing the creatures from that world could give us very special materials"
He grabbed something from his sleeve, and brought out a fist sized grey stone from it.
Holding it in his palm, and showed it to Mize.
Grabbing the stone, Mize scanned it with her divine mind, and retracted her divine mind back, "There's a very strange magic nullification properties inside this stone"
"Indeed... " Saka was amazed and immediately praised Mize.
After all, it took them quite awhile to understand what the stone could be used for.
And yet Mize simply took a glance to understand everything about it.
"And the lord wanted to use it for building materials, weapons, and more... "
"Ahhh... " Mize realized her mistakes, turned her gaze back towards the space crack that was now considerably tinier now, and asked, "Do you want me to make it bigger?"
"N-no, no need for now, your highness" Saka scratched the side of his head.
The way how Mize so casually remarked that she could do It scared it. And if possible, he doesn't want her to do it.
They still needed more time to study some of the monster's structure from that world.
Enlarging the space crack would only bring more problems instead of benefits.
Plus, they also wouldn't like the otherworldly lords to notice the space crack.
So far, the monsters that had passed through the space crack were all mindless beasts.
But the lord already suspected the other side to a be world in the warp.
"Your highness, if it isn't troublesome, can you tell me what's on the other side of the space crack?" Saka made a wild guess.
Hoping that Mize could see what lays on the opposite side, and naturally, she could.
"It's a vast land with several large patches of forest"
"I see... Anything other than that?"
To this, Mize gave him a look that told him to wait.
Dragged her gaze back to the space crack, and used her all seeing eyes coupled with her immense divine mind.
Now that her skills were upgraded to tier 7, coupled with her immense mental strength, she could easily discern an area worth around several thousand kilometres.
As she began discerning the scene on the opposite side, she noticed several large cities filled with strange humanoid creatures on the other side.
"There are several cities several hundred kilometres from the space crack" she Muttered.
Saka, on the side, took note of the given information, and Mize continued observing, "The race is unknown but they are still humanoid like us" her eyes trailed around the cities in the surrounding thousand of kilometres around the space crack.
"Horns, strange reddish eyes, and even uniformed body parts. Demonic race?"
And then, she noticed something horrible, "No, there's actually human race in the opposite world"
There, within her sights, she saw cages in the cities with human held captives in them.
None of them wore any clothes, butt-naked, and totally humiliated.
In certain restaurants, there were human bodies served on the table, some were alive, screaming as they were eaten, while most were dead.
In distant corners, females were used as breeding slaves. Any demon can take them casually and use them.
Such a scene, such a horrible scene...
Mize felt something tugging at her stomach, and she hated that.
"Ohhh?" Saka became interested, and judging by the way how Mize's face changed, he could already guess what it is she was seeing.
"I see, it seems my noble human race is being used a food, slaves, and also breeding tools in the opposite world"
Mize recalled her gaze back, and breathed out, but the way her tone shifted made Saka a little bit concerned, "Your highness, please... Without the lord's approval, let's not do anything drastic at the moment... "
"I am very well aware... But I am... Extremely upset" she muttered, and invisibly, Saka sweated, "I want to kill them... Now... But"
Feeling this dangerous feeling from Mize's body, as if everything around here was about to explode into ashes.
Saka hurriedly gestured with his hand, "Your highness, please rest assured once we've learned everything we needed to know, I will personally lead an army there to quench your anger"
"Understood" Mize turned around, and slowly approached the silent Titrus.
Lifting her hand, she waved, "Go back to the church, leave this place for me to handle from now on"
"This... Yes, My lady" Titrus was hesitant at first, but the way how Mize sounded her orders, he immediately agreed without refusal.
As for Mize's plan on how to handle this place?
Easy...
Her imagination never runs out of ideas.
Instead, it became more and more outrageous as the days passed.
Saka noticed their conversations, gave a polite nod to her, and excused himself from the place.
As for Titrus, under Mize's order, he was immediately teleported back to the city.
And Mize was finally left alone in this place, turning her gaze towards the space crack where around it, thick miasma lingered around like swirling snakes.
"Corrosion, assimilating, and if a creature was left exposed to this miasma for a prolonged amount of time, changes will occur to them... "
Gazing back towards the cities inside the space crack, Mize's eyes flickered in thoughts.
"Enslaving my race? So bold... I will make sure that your world will rain blood."
As if she was understanding something.
"I am not really planning to include them into my plan, but time changes and so does everything else. "
Mize decided, in the future, she will definitely spread her influence there, in that brand new world.
For now...
She lifted her fingers, then...
A huge towering tree broke through the earth.
The canopy covered the surrounding hundred of meters and the lush evergreen glowed strangely in this area, "I couldn't let such a dangerous miasma continue to expand any further"
She murmured, then the tree began to absorb the air alongside the miasma into its body.
Simultaneously, the tree grew slightly bigger as a vortex of miasma was greedily absorbed by it.
From the walls, the guards noticed the changes again, some even dropped their weapons and held over the wall's fence to see this magnificent scene.
"Look, what is that?"
"A tree? Could it be her highness has taken action?"
"Look, the tree is actually absorbing the strange miasma, it's actually clearing up the air"
Gasps echoed about from the walls, falling into her ears, and she smiled.
"Lessening their worries, after all, working in such an environment must be very hard for them"
The purpose of this tree was rather simple.
Absorb the leaked miasma from the space crack, and used it as its nutrition to grow.
At the same time, Mize bestowed this tree with a high intelligence similar to those clones and other creations under her.
She approached closer, bypassing the space crack that now stood under the tree's giant canopy and placed her palm over the trunk's surfaces, "You now shoulder the responsibility to guard this entry between the two worlds"
"A heavy responsibility that none other of my creations has shouldered"
In return to her words, the leaves glowed in an intense light up above, the canopy fluttering slightly to show itself, to deliver it's obedience.
"Grow here, and become stronger... I already made you strong enough comparable to a true king being"
"And here... " A tiny orb of light separated from her fingertips, and slowly entered the trunk, "This is all of the information regarding the place you are currently serving"
"If anything" Mize rubbed the trunk, "Make sure to contact me if something troubles you"
Flutters!
The tree shook slightly, responding. Mize finds this to be rather cute, and smiled.
"Make sure to cooperate with the figures I mentioned in the memory orb just now"
"They needed the creatures from that world."
And after making sure nothing was amiss, Mize gave the other world another spare of her glance before leaving.
Her projection slowly dimmed in this place.
Leaving behind a tree that stood tall over the ground, easily half a kilometre tall as the leaves glowed in beautiful arrays of light.
