'Wait, I'm Supposed to Become a Goddess?! But I'm a Guy!'
Chapter 202: Troublesome space
"Corrosion?" Her frown deepened, and with a wave of her hand from the castle, a huge wind blows in this place.
Simultaneously, the projection moved the same, waving her hand.
Like a gigantic slap, a huge force was generated and thumped against the space.
Boom!
A hurricane like momentum exploded, pushing the miasma away into the sky.
Several huge chunks of dirt were lifted off the ground even.
The guards stationed around the walls, the shadow summons nearby, all of them were alerted by this titanic movement.
But as they looked over from the top of the wall, their breath held itself immediately.
As they witnessed a huge projection of a giant woman clad in a dazzling light in this place.
She stood over the air, easily one kilometres tall, and the lights radiated out from her body spread rapidly to the surroundings.
Like a goddess of light, her figure shimmered in the dark world.
Ooo, The glory for the Mother of Life, Mother of Light, Mother of Hope!
"I-its her highness?"
"I-impossible, shouldn't she be in the castle? Still in a coma?"
"I-its true, even if it is a projection, but such an undeniable beauty, it must be her highness... "
"Who else would be able to do the same as her?"
The guards nearby had their jaws opened, their hands gripping those weapons felt weak, after all...
The sight of a huge figure standing over the air like a goddess wasn't a common one to be scene around here.
Mize waited for a bit, then the miasma came again, or in a sense, it regenerated.
But from where?
She tried to locate the source, and her immense divine mind trailed into the deepest part of this place.
Roughly speaking, Mize began to question on why Liam even bothered to use a spatial formation here, the size was outrageously huge too.
Almost 200km in diameters and length.
But seeing how the miasma failed to expand outward after reaching the length, she understood.
It was not that Liam decided to make this place this huge casually, but because the length of how much the miasma could reach was almost close to 200 kilometres.
"What a troublesome place... " Mize frowned, her divine gaze penetrated deep into the core area, and she projection vanished again.
Reappearing to where she felt her connection with Titrus was.
There, as she reappeared, she finally saw him.
Titrus.
Standing still before a tiny crack of space tinted in red over the ground.
Before it, he stood tall and motionless like an eternal guardian. In his right hand, a huge war axe with a long handle was held.
His armour?
The once glorious armour tinted in deep earth colours was now bathed in a full red.
Around here.
Dozens of strange mutilated bodies could be found scattered around here. Even dozen of meters away, the same scene repeated itself.
Then, she turned her gaze once again, eyes narrowing into the tiny space crack.
Her divine mind, powerful as it was entered that place, and what she saw suprised her.
"It's actually another world... "
"Who!"
Titrus jolted in response, his axe falling down like a rocket towards the side.
Boom!
He swung down, but the axe fell through the projection like a sword trying to cut water.
Mize, her projection in smaller human size, gazed at him with a glance, and smiled kindly, "Titrus, how have you been... "
"M-My lord!" Titrus was stunned, the axe was forgotten momentarily, and as he recollected himself, he shouted yet again, kneeling, "Titrus, heed the Lord's presence and welcome the lord back to this world!"
Boom!
"Alright alright... " Mize waved his hand, swept the dust away casually, "You are making it sound as if I died and just returned from the underworld or something"
"A-ah, I didn't mean such words, My lord" Titrus hurriedly wanted to apologize, but Mize simply swept her hand, and a powerful energy streaked from her fingertips and entered his body.
In a full surge, Titrus felt as if he was reborn.
Injuries healed, wounds that spread across his chest immediately closed on it's own, and the annoying corrosion that had been troubling him for so long was immediately turned into ashes.
He kneeled again, "Thank you for the mercy, My lord"
"Haih, yes yes" Mize sighed, waved her hand, and gestured, "So... Can you tell me, how did this tiny space crack that leads to another world appeared here?"
"Plus, why are you here?"
"To another world?" Titrus stood up, glanced back towards the space crack and shook his head, "I was unaware that this space crack actually leads to another world, My lord. But then, I also have my own suspicion."
"My lady... Tch tch tch" Mize lifted her fingers, and swayed it aside, "Address me properly from now on"
"Yes, My lady"
"And as for the origin of this space crack, it is currently unknown. But judging from the constant demonic beings pouring through it, it should be related to a demon world, My lady"
"A demon world huh" Mize dragged her gaze back towards the space crack.
Barely the size of a fingernail, and yet the danger it brought was rather overwhelming.
Her gaze penetrated the other side once again, her immense divine mind scanned the outside area and was surprised to see that despite the clear sky and air in that world.
The amount of miasma was countless times higher than here.
Which meant that the world over there possessed it's own rules that seemed to blend the miasma peacefully with their ecosystem.
Especially with the way how trees and grass were unaffected there, Mize was intrigued.
"Why didn't Liam send his forces here?"
"The lord did send his reinforcement here, My lady" Titrus nodded, and gestured, "But they are stationed around the walls, roughly half a million might"
"And the strongest is barely tier 6, he didn't place any true lords here, huh" Mize looked around, scanned the wall, and shook her head, "Then, your reasons for being here?"
"It was the lady's clone that ordered me to come here, as on a certain day months before, she sensed a very alarming presence was approaching from the other side"
"A very alarming presence?"
"Yes" then, under Mize's eyes, Titrus walked to the side towards a bunch of corpses on the ground, then... He stepped down.
Boom!
A shriek rang out, Mize's eyes widened as she hurriedly focused her divine mind there.
Then, she finally noticed it, a strange worm like creature that was there, but somehow she didn't notice it before...
"This?"
"I do not know what it is... This creature could travel through the crack of space as if the space was water" Titrus explained, grabbed the neck of the creature and brought it up.
To him, it might be a very small creature, but to most common human, it was the same size as them.
Even several heads taller than her, Mize's eyes narrowed, scanning the body structure of this creature and she was suprised to find out that the body was actually hollow!
"You didn't inform Liam?"
"I did, My lady" Titrus shook his head, "But it seems only me, Lord Liam, and Lord Saka were keen enough to notice these creatures movement, no one else could"
"Then, I presume Aizen is working on something to detect these creatures?"
"Yes, Lord Aizen is currently working on it, I had been sending these creatures to his laboratory, and soon enough we would be able to figure out a means to detect them on a large scale"
Titrus responded with details.
Mize hummed softly at the efficiency her hero was working on. Then, she remembered something.
It seemed she missed quite the several chances of hero summoning.
Well, she would do it later.
For now, she was planning to do something else. Especially the space rift before her, this abnormality in the territory might threatened the peace of her point factory.
Closing in towards it, she held out her hands, and said, "Stand back... "
Then, as Titrus hurriedly retreated several steps behind, her hand glowed in powerful distortions in each palms.
Extreme gravity, each easily reaching the weight of tier 9 attacks, then... She pressed the space crack.
Boom!
A fierce wind erupted from the center of this place. Mize's projection remained still as a stone, and she pressed the space crack further and further.
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
The surrounding earth cracked, painted shrills came from the other side of the space crack, but her expression remained the same, as she pressed the space crack further.
And it worked, it actually worked...
Surprisingly so, but it was unbearably slow.
Mize frowned, immediately ordered the clones to practice the star gathering skill, and she used more than 10 accumulated mental tank in one go.
"Close!"
Boom!
A deafening noises clapped the surroundings, the earth jolted back like water being slapped by a giant hand, and the space formation trembled heavily.
Mize gave a snort, and fixed the space formation using her imagination realism.
Soon after, she slowly released her hand, the wind died down, and the catastrophic like earthquake stopped.
"Ohoo... It's quite stubborn" Mize narrowed her eyes, discerning the brand new tiny space crack before her, and patted her illusory hand slightly.
But for now, it should be more than enough.
However, before proceeding to close this space crack, she turned her gaze to the side, "Come out... "
