She frowned as she saw the weapon that I was holding. The Excalibur has been well known to many people even the Gods and Goddesses.

She knows what the weapon does and how it works. However, I guess she didn’t know this was the real deal, not just the replica. Perhaps she thought I was going to use the power of the replica that the Lady of the Lake made as an imitation of the original Excalibur.

"Excalibur huh, so after slaying the former king who owns that sword, you took it from him? Well, that is quite an interesting thing. But even then, that thing does not work on me."

I didn’t say anything and just rushed head-on to the goddess and as she fought back with some light beams, I dodged them as quickly as possible, struck a few of them, and cut them down, before closing myself into the Goddess of Life. However, it seems her guard is now much higher compared to before, perhaps due to the fact that I pulled out the Pain Delivery and caused trouble for her, she is now totally not sure if I am going to be a big threat or not.

The Excalibur felt like a longsword and a normal sword combined. I can’t say this was a magic sword either since the length for one is not matching and the magic sword crystal that is present in every magic sword is not present for the Excalibur. However, despite that, it can channel energy stronger than any power that the world holds.

And since it holds that much power, let’s see how it is fair against a literal goddess. Swinging my sword to cut her down, she quickly made maneuvers to quickly dodge my attacks. It was like she was able to read it, but I am not mad or even raging for missing all attacks. I instead continue to chain my attacks as I continuously pressure her to fight. She might be a goddess but that doesn’t mean she gets tired.

Aside from swinging the sword a lot of times, I also release magic attacks from time to time that would catch the Goddess of Life off guard a few times. Although my spells are now weaker compared to before since I didn’t invest much in my spells, I didn’t mind it as I don’t need my spells to be strong enough. All I needed was to use them as a way to distract the enemy as I used my abilities.

Seeing how high her guard was on me, I decided to use my magic spells against her. And like I expected, she is not taking them lightly now and is dodging them, allowing me to use this to my advantage.

Releasing a [Shocking Lightning] attack, she decided to dodge away from my attack as I immediately predicted it. Seeing my chance, I dash towards her and with a quick swing, one of her hands has been severed by my Devourer who was using the Excalibur form.

"GYAAAAAAHHH!" her scream echoes in the area and my ears hurt just by listening to it and I have to cover my ears in the process.

"You managed to cut one of her hands!" the Shadow Dragon was surprised at my achievement.

"It’s not yet over, don’t just revert your power for a bit. Transform and let’s get her to taste the power of love and let it burn through her body."

"I like that idea, wielder!" like it read my mind, the Shadow Dragon changed the Devourer’s form into a whip-like I wanted it to be and as the Goddess of Life started to groan in pain due to the hand I severed, I started to whip her using the Weapon of Lust.

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!

Multiple swift attacks landed on the Goddess of Life’s body as the love stacks started to rack up.

"You will pay for the pain!" She stood up and picked up her severed hand as she tried to heal and reattach it, only to feel the pain and scream as the arm burned her flesh whenever she tried to reattach it. As for me, I decided to continue racking the Love stacks to her body. With her preoccupied with the severed hand, the whip attacks don’t seem to make her hurt much but the debuffs starts to stack up and that is what I wanted. Even if I drag the battle till the end of time, there will come a day that she will not recover from the pain this debuffs gonna inflict on her body.

It didn’t take her too long to realize the debuffs are stacking up. I even managed to make a single complete loop on her and all of the debuffs inflicted on her is now a permanent problem she will face till the very end of time. Seeing that her hand just won’t heal up, she ditches her arm and decided to focus on healing the debuffs on her body.

"[CLEANSE]! [CLEANSE]!"

The spell continues to try cleansing her body but it seems the stacks are working properly. As soon as she realized what is happening to her, her eyes burning red roared as she rushes towards me with multiple beams of light being fired to my direction.

"What have you done to me?! Why am I not healing!"

"You feel it? That is the power of love, baby! And that feeling is something that you will continuously feel without ending!"

"CURSE YOU, CURSE YOU, CURSE YOU!"

She started throwing fit as I started dodging her attacks. Due to the effects of the Love stacks, her attacks starts to fail badly and her powers have weaken significantly as well. It is good to also know that due to one of her hands missing, she is not able to efficiently fight as her other arm has no more hands to release it. I don’t know how her magic works but it seems that it does only work if she has hands left on her arm.

"If you think this tricks of yours will let you win, then you are wrong!" Despite that, she is still not that happy and now she is using complicated attacks as she started to speak a few words I can’t understand that suddenly causes multiple sorts of attacks that I am not confident dealing with. As I retreated for a bit, the Goddess of Life angrily released a focused blast and multiple chains bind me once more. It is the same way it happened before when I was fighting her for the first time.

"Just because you are now able to deal something against me and you have some new toys to use against me doesn’t mean you are now going to be killing me. If push comes to shove, then I will execute you faster than I should...ugh!" she struggled a bit after feeling the pain from the debuff of the Love stack but she immediately recovers as she raise her hands to release the attack that will kill me in the process.

But I am not going to just die here. Letting the Devourer changed into a dagger, I used my hand to let the Devourer fly in to the air a bit before letting it transform into the Excalibur. As it happens and the blades landed straight to one of the chains, it was immediately broken and my hand managed to free itself from the binds. Catching the Devourer before it falls I immediately used it to cut the remaining chains in one slice and immediately dodging before the attack that was meant to kill me.

I don’t know if she used all of her power to just do that but after the attack landed to where I was supposed to be, she started to feel weak and she started panting as power exhausted all of her resource.

"I...I refuse to be defeated here... not now, not today, and not forever!"

She started to ascend into the air as she extends her remaining hand into the air.

"Come my loyal subjects! Serve your eternal ruler, the one who will rule and keep this world in balance, give me the power to slay the powerful enemy before you!"

As she shouted those words, whoever the ones that the group was fighting are among the things that started floating all over the sky. Everyone defending the entry way were also stunned as the enemies started to fall down one by one. Not only that but smoky souls ascend into the air and gathers around the Goddess of Life’s hand. They circle on them around, and they seemed to be increasing as well. Then, I noticed how everything seems to be looking real bad right now.

Not only in this world, but even the ones that is just slowly getting acquainted to the power.

"This power is mine, and with this, you all would just die before they will even kill you. Now, this is the battle that I will be utilizing the souls of everyone who believes in me."
