Transmigration: The Tyrant General Can Hear My Thoughts
Chapter 93 - Ninety Two
The door of the luxurious private room clicked softly as it opened.
The handsome, impeccably dressed host stepped back into the room. He gave a very proud smile. He walked smoothly past the five half-naked men, standing with a straight, proud posture. He bowed very deeply and gracefully to Zade, who was sitting on the smaller sofa, and then he bowed even deeper to Camilla.
"My lord, My lady," the host announced. His voice was smooth, rich, and incredibly professional. It sounded like he was presenting a tray of priceless, rare diamonds.
The host swept his arm grandly toward the four men standing in front of the table. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚
"These are the absolute top handsome men in our entire establishment," the host declared proudly, a highly confident, polite smile resting on his face.
He looked at the men, making sure they were standing with perfect, straight posture.
"They are carefully and rigorously selected from thousands of hopeful candidates," the host continued to brag, wanting his wealthy clients to know they were getting the absolute best service money could buy. "They are not only completely outstanding and flawless in their physical appearance, but they are also exceptionally good in what they do behind closed doors."
The host placed a hand over his heart, bowing his head slightly.
"They are masters of fine conversation, gentle massages, pouring wine, playing romantic music, and providing perfect, undivided companionship," the host promised smoothly. "I am absolutely sure that you will be greatly satisfied by their attentive care."
Camilla slowly pulled her appreciative eyes away from the broad, bare, muscular chests of the men. She looked at the host for a brief second, and then she looked directly across the low glass table at her younger brother.
Zade was leaning far back into his smaller velvet sofa. He had his legs crossed comfortably at the ankles. He looked incredibly proud of himself. He had a smug, completely satisfied, almost arrogant grin on his face, looking exactly like a genius who had just solved a massive problem.
Camilla slowly raised her right hand. She rested her elbow gracefully on the padded armrest of the red velvet sofa. She gently tapped her index finger against her soft chin in a slow, rhythmic motion.
Her hazel eyes sparkled with a very deep, hidden amusement.
"Well," Camilla thought to herself, her internal voice sounding incredibly relaxed and highly pleased by this sudden turn of events. "It has been a very, very long time since I have had this kind of excellent, top-tier service."
She let out a very small, completely silent sigh of pure contentment. Her mind drifted back to her past life in the modern world.
"This is exactly what I used to dream about when I was dodging bullets and fighting corrupt politicians," Camilla’s thoughts continued, a slow, wicked smile pulling at the corners of her pink lips. "My ultimate retirement plan. Just sitting on a beautiful island in the Maldives, surrounded by incredibly handsome, shirtless men who only want to feed me grapes and fan my face."
She looked at the five men again. They were staring at her with dark, sultry, completely inviting eyes.
"Zade actually did a great job," Camilla admitted in her mind, feeling a rare burst of affection for her little brother. "I thought he was going to take me to a boring poetry reading. But he brought me a buffet of beautiful men. I should definitely reward him later."
Camilla was just opening her mouth to speak, fully intending to ask a question, when a sudden, loud noise completely shattered the smooth, romantic, quiet mood of the private room.
BANG!
The door flew completely open. It swung so hard that the brass handle slammed violently against the wall, making a loud, cracking noise that echoed in the luxurious room.
A young man rushed frantically into the private room.
It was Lord Austin, Zade’s best friend. His coat was slightly wrinkled, and he was completely out of breath, panting heavily as if he had just run a marathon across the entire capital city.
Austin burst into the room like a wild hurricane. He was in such a huge rush that he did not even look at the red velvet sofas. He did not look at the low glass table. He completely failed to notice the five half-naked, incredibly muscular men standing right in the middle of the carpet.
Austin just looked straight ahead, locking his eyes directly onto his friend Zade.
Not knowing the situation currently happening in the room at all, Austin spoke very loudly and carelessly, waving his arms in the air like a madman.
"Zade!" Austin shouted at the top of his lungs, his voice echoing off the silk-covered walls. "You crazy, stupid fool! I have been looking for you everywhere!"
Austin marched forward, stomping his boots onto the plush red carpet. He looked highly annoyed and deeply worried for his friend’s health.
"You just got the doctor’s official permission to go out of your bed today!" Austin yelled, pointing an accusing finger at Zade’s chest. "Your ribs are barely healed! And you came here immediately? To this establishment?"
Austin threw his hands up into the air in a gesture of pure, dramatic frustration.
"Are you here to see Vea?" Austin demanded loudly, completely exposing Zade’s past romantic secrets to the entire room. "Is that why you rushed out of the house like a dying man looking for water? To see a dancer?"
As Austin reached the very center of the room, he finally stopped marching.
He took a deep breath. And then, he finally realized that the room was incredibly crowded. And incredibly quiet.
Austin slowly lowered his hands from the air. He blinked his brown eyes. He slowly turned his head to the left side of the room.
He saw a tall, incredibly handsome blonde man holding a silver tray with wine. He saw a dark-haired man holding a large feather fan. He saw a brown-haired man holding a bowl of fruits. He saw a fourth man holding a small silver harp and the fifth one holding a bowl of water and foot oil.
And, most importantly, he saw that all five of these massive, gorgeous men were completely bare-chested, their perfectly sculpted abdominal muscles glowing in the dim light.
Austin’s jaw slowly dropped open.
Then, Austin turned his head slightly more. His eyes traveled past the line of half-naked men.
He saw Camilla sitting perfectly relaxed on the large, center red velvet sofa and she was staring right back at him with an incredibly amused, dark expression.
Austin’s brain completely short-circuited.
He instantly recognized the terrifying woman who had thrown a bloody kitchen knife straight into a murderer’s skull with absolutely zero hesitation just seven days ago in that dirty tavern.
Clack.
Austin violently snapped his mouth shut so fast his teeth clicked together. He bit his own tongue hard in his sheer, overwhelming panic.
His face instantly drained of all its color, turning completely pale white, before suddenly flushing a bright, burning shade of hot red.
Austin quickly spun his body around to face her fully. He practically threw himself forward, bowing so deeply and frantically that his nose almost touched his own kneecaps.
"My... My lady!" Austin stuttered nervously, his voice cracking into a high pitch. "You are here?"
Austin slowly, awkwardly stood up straight from his deep bow. He quickly glanced across the low glass table at his friend.
Zade was glaring absolute daggers at Austin.
Zade’s face was twisted in deep, frantic annoyance. He was aggressively waving his hands in the air and putting his index finger forcefully against his lips, loudly shushing his friend to be quiet.
Shhhhhh!
Zade hissed loudly, his eyes wide with warning. Zade absolutely did not want Austin talking about his past, failed romantic crush on a dancer named Vea in front of his older sister. It was highly embarrassing.
Austin looked at Zade’s frantic waving. Austin realized immediately that he had just kicked open the door and carelessly interrupted a very private, very strange, highly secretive family gathering.
"Uh, excuse me," Austin mumbled awkwardly, his voice shaking with pure embarrassment. "My deepest apologies for the sudden intrusion."
He quickly skirted around the edge of the glass table, making absolutely sure not to bump into the five half-naked men. He practically ran over to Zade’s smaller velvet sofa. He sat down heavily right beside his friend, trying to make himself look as small and invisible as possible.
The host, who was a true master of his craft, completely ignored the awkward, noisy interruption by the clumsy young lord. The host decided to continue his professional presentation smoothly, wanting to make sure his wealthy female client was absolutely thrilled.
The host turned his attention back to Camilla. He placed his hands neatly behind his back and cleared his throat smoothly.
Ahem.
"And now, My lady," the host announced, raising his rich voice slightly to build a sense of grand excitement. He gestured his hand grandly toward the door of the private room. "Allow me to present to you... our absolute star."
Camilla stopped tapping her chin. Her eyes immediately shifted toward the door. She was already highly impressed by the first five men standing in front of her. They were perfectly gorgeous. She genuinely wondered how a ’star’ could possibly be better than them.
A few seconds later, another sexy man entered the private room.
