The Faceless Billionaire Celebrity Wife

In the car, Noah untied the cloth his sister had used to blindfold him as he watched her run towards a man standing not far from their car. His eyes widened when the both of them hugged but he was still stable enough to get out of the car. However, when he watched the way the both of them kissed outside, he lost his balance and stumbled as he fell sideways to rest on the car.

The loud sound his body made when it came in contact with the car did not even distract them, as the two looked very absorbed in their kiss.

Ethan pulled Shikera body closer, feeling the way her waist seemed to be thinner than before. He sank his fingers into her hair as he parted his lips, giving her access to control him. And that was when he heard it.

"Uhm...I know i should leave at this moment but that would be a waste of my time so, can you guys just let yourself go for a minute please?"

Ethan looked up, breaking the kiss with Shikera but still holding her body in his arms like she would disappear if he let her go.

"Who are you?" he asked, frowning as he sent a cold glare in Noah’s direction. His frown deepened when he saw the uniform Noah was wearing.

’Didn’t I tell Ezekias not to let her know I had someone watching her? Except...’

He looked down at Shikera, his eyes showing a hint of fear as he examined her body.

"Are you okay? Did you get hurt anywhere?"

"I didn’t," Shikera replied him, avoiding his eyes as she didn’t know how to explain Noah’s presence here in his abode. She could only hope that he wouldn’t get angry at her and spoil the joyous mood between them now.

"Hellooo, I am still here," Noah drew their attention to himself, seeing as they were focused on each other. His brows raised when he saw that Ethan had not even bothered to cover his face since he saw him. The man had totally let down his guard because Shikera was present.

"I asked who you are?" Ethan repeated.

"Noah Anderson, and your wife’s older brother. I followed her here," Noah replied in a matter of fact tone as if he was sure Ethan wouldn’t get angry.

Shikera hurriedly jumped to defend herself.

"He forced me! I didn’t want him to come with me but he said he wouldn’t let me go otherwise and I was in a hurry to get home earlier. I was famished!"

Again, Ethan was distracted by Shikera’s words and he ignored Noah.

"I made snacks cause I was waiting for you to come before cooking. I also got your ice cream ready, which would you like to take first?" He asked.

Shikera smiled, pulling him in the direction of the door as she answered,"How about I see them first before choosing? As for Noah, since he has seen me home then he can leave already."

She threw a pleading look at her brother as she led Ethan away.

"You can help me return the car, right? And my luggage! Just help me drop it over there," she said, pointing to the porch as she opened the door and walked into the villa. Ethan followed after her immediately and the door was slammed in Noah’s face.

"Did Kera just...abandon me?" he asked himself in disbelief. He went to retrieve Shikera’s luggage from the car and placed it on the porch just like Shikera directed but when he turned, a man and a woman was standing before him.

"We were asked to escort you," the woman said.

"Who sent you?"

"The man who followed your sister in just now."

Meanwhile...

"I thought you said you were famished?" Ethan asked Shikera, seeing that she was leading him towards the stairs instead of the kitchen.

"I am. I just want to bath first before eating," Shikera replied him, releasing his hand from her grip.

"That’s alright then. I will just be in the kitchen if you need me."

Shikera nodded and walked up the stairs to her room, leaving him behind.

Few minutes later, Shikera was under the shower, her hand running through her hair as water cascaded down her body. A smile came to form on her lips as she remembered how she and Ethan had hugged and kissed earlier.

"Can I take my pending kisses now?"

His voice when he said that had caused the butterflies in her tummy to be activated again. As she continued reliving his voice in her head, the meaning of what he said suddenly occured to her.

As absurd as she had thought it was, Ethan needed her kiss to sleep well. And that was the reason why he had looked kind of tired when she first saw him. Then why did he not even try to tell her before she left? She was sure they would have found a way to let her go on the trip and let Ethan have a good night sleep at the same time.

As an idea popped in her head, she flicked the shower switch and stepped away from beneath it. She wore her bathrobe and rushed out into her bedroom, towel drying her hair as fast as she could. When she was done, she went to stand behind her door before shouting at the top of her voice.

"Ethan!"

As she expected, she heard the sound of footsteps running up the stairs before coming to stop before her door. He seemed to have hesitated momentarily before calling out loud.

"Are you in the bathroom?"

"I am not," Shikera whispered, loud enough for him to hear her without being able to make out where she was.

He swung the door open and Shikera had to press herself tightly against the wall to avoid the possible attack posed by the door. He stepped into the room and closed the door after himself.

"Are you in your closet?"

From the way he was asking questions, Shikera could tell that he didn’t want another occurrence of what happened in the bathroom that day. She approached him from behind and loosening the rope holding her bathrobe together, she pressed her body against his back and wrapped her hands around him.

She wanted to give him all the kisses she owed him at once, and at the same time give him a bonus of beautiful dreams. As she tried to summon the courage from deep within her, her brother and their numerous conversations back at the military campground rushed into her mind and they were more than enough to encourage her.
