Amara ranted for 5 minutes straight, talking about the danger of those low grade pods and talking about the history of how much life they cost before the world realised they needed to put more and more strict regulations on the product.

Then she made up the case on the spot and started talking to him.

Alex rubbed his temple, answering him but Amara, being excited and anxious, cut him off as she once again started speaking of the history and regulations of it.

She was right now acting like a mother other then the bro-con sister she usually is.

"You know why there are so many regulations on the VR pods Alex?"

Amara was right now breathing heavily, right now her left hand was holding her phone as she was talking to him on the phone while right hand was typing on the laptop in front of her searching for bad news about the VR pods and such articles.

Her voice was shaky, filled with anxiety and fear for her brother, completely forgetting that awakened rules are not so simple, especially after he told her he also has a special physique.

Right now all she worries about is him from the perspective of his guardian, someone to make sure he does not get hurt, same as he used to protect her from their mother, always speaking for her in front of their mother.

"Because insurance companies started crash testing the pods and gave the safety rating for each pod after manufacturing companies released the statement not to use for too long when injuries and deaths started from those VR pods."

Alex didn't even hesitate before he answered her, which might sound like a joke to anyone who knows how insurance companies work but it was surprisingly not a joke.

Don't get it wrong, those companies in fact did not actually start testing the VR pods for the safety of their consumers, rather they did it because they were losing lots of money.

It's because there is insurance in not only VR pods but also users of the same pods, along with life insurance and all, stacking huge losses from one accident of VR pods.

So from accidental injury to the medical feed to the life insurance and on top of that court settlement because of course they sell insurance to manufacturing companies too for settlement and court cases.

Hence they started doing their own safety test and giving ratings to the pods so if users who got lower ratings pod got hurt they can find a way to lower and even deny their claim forcing others to buy the higher rated VR pods.

At first manufacturers deny it, make fun of the rating system before quietly starting adding the safety function in later models that last one lacked and got lower ratings, which again not for safety but simply they are losing their customers and so their profits.

"...Ehh!....Well if you know why you want pods from a new company that was founded just a few months ago brother? Don't fall for their pods ratings, that was not done by any trusted agency."

Amara wanted to speak more and more, shooting a barrage of questions to him but when he actually answered her, she was taken aback, she never knew her brother knew about the real reasons.

This made her embarrassed as she did not know what else to say, so she just said something that came to her mind first, still trying to think about ways to convince him.

Alex meanwhile did not answer her, just went and locked the main door of the washroom before sealing the space using his own powers to be hidden away from preying eyes, just to be safe.

'System seals off this space for me.' 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Still he was not sure about it and hence asked the system to seal it off just to be damn sure.

[Ding! 100 RP is deducted, This space is indefinitely sealed off, no one can look or hear what is happening in this washroom from the outside world….]

The system followed his command, quickly deducting 100 RP which sounds a lot thinking he brought S-Rank Boar meat with that same price before but it was worth the price.

Simply because the next moment, the system cut off this whole washroom from the outside world, no one can hear or see what was happening inside this place, no one including heavenly will, So it was quite a cheap price to pay.

Now that he decided to not have any more variables for tonight's events, If there is another protagonist, it would be harder to juggle the 3 protagonists and other Heroines and FL on top of it.

If Jake is the protagonist for tonight's events, then a bait protagonist like him should not be fed like that as he is not only stronger but that Dual cultivation technique of his is too unpredictable to be left alone.

Heck even if it was neither, It's not good for Jake to live anymore, simply because he does not have much value left. The moment he got that cultivation technique, he would send dear brother in law to places people are dying to get into.
