"So now we have six Infinities, huh..."

Balance muttered in a solemn tone, staring at the blank screen in front of him.

"And a Zylarith no one knows the plans of."

Light spoke up.

"There is the Seer too. I never once liked that woman."

She added. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

The Infinities turned silent at the mention of the Seer’s name. The woman just randomly appeared one day out of nowhere. No one in the entire Universe knew anything about her—and in complete contrast, she knew everything about everyone.

Even the Infinities didn’t seem to be exceptions to that.

Her presence obviously made the Infinities wary. They had tried capturing that woman more than once, but she managed to escape every single time.

No, ’managing to escape’ was the wrong way to describe it—she never once fell for any of their traps, which was something the Infinities had never experienced.

Even someone like Zylarith had fallen for their traps more than once. This was the reason he stayed hidden almost all the time, never making a bold appearance for fear of the four of them learning his whereabouts and capturing him.

But Seer?

The woman didn’t seem to have any reservations at all.

She appeared and reappeared anytime she wanted, without any care for any being in the Universe.

Heck, she even boldly contacted the four of them—more than once, actually. She simply left a message for them.

Yes, a message for them!

The four beings who had the habit of summoning any being they wanted to contact—this woman dared to summon them and give directions as to how to contact her.

What’s worse?

They went!

They followed her directions!

Why?

Because even they knew how useful the Seer was.

She knew things even Eternity did not!

Heck, she predicted Zylarith’s movements more than once—she was the reason they were able to stop Umbrasol before Zylarith made too big of a mess there.

Yes, the cunning bastard did disappear, but the woman was still correct about him.

Honestly, if the Seer was completely by their side, half of the problems the Infinities currently had would be solved.

Zylarith wouldn’t be able to escape. Even the Fifth Infinity wouldn’t be able to hide. As for Anomaly...

They believed the woman was in contact with him as well.

Wasn’t answering them anymore...

It was frustrating to think about her, but...

Light was correct. Right now, they were in no position to take her out of the equation.

"Zylarith, Seer, the Fifth Infinity, and now the Sixth Infinity... Our Universe is becoming much more complicated than I remember. No wonder it is so sensitive these days.

I didn’t even know the birth of a Sixth Infinity was possible."

Suddenly, Eternity chuckled. His tone seemed much lighter than the others’, as if he was hiding something—something that gave him absolute confidence.

The other Infinities did not react to his tone. They knew he was simply trying to get more out of them—they were long used to such trickery.

"Maybe... the Anomaly is not the Sixth Infinity..."

Suddenly, Light spoke up in an uncertain tone.

The other Infinities turned towards her and—

"What if... the Fifth Infinity is the Anomaly itself?"

She suggested another theory.

"He appeared to defend him, did he not? What if he was defending his clone instead? Or maybe the one defending was the clone.

We did see Anomaly use a similar ability, so it wouldn’t be surprising if he used that ability before."

"That... could be true."

Balance did not deny the theory outright.

It actually made more sense if that were the case.

After all, this way, the Universe’s rule that had not been broken for trillions of years would stay intact.

If that was the case, then...

"Are you saying...

The Universe’s Child is one of us?"

Eternity questioned. Even though their faces weren’t visible, every other Infinity knew he had a light, provocative smile on his face when he said those words.

And once again, the air in the hall became tense.

The Infinities had had this conversation before—the Universe had chosen a ’Hero,’ a being who was connected to the Universe, a being who didn’t have to face restrictions other beings had to face.

A being who could grow... beyond Infinity.

Of course, not every being would get such an opportunity—only the beings close to the Universe could.

What did it mean?

It meant that only the Infinities could become the Universe’s Child.

The four of them had discussed this before, trying to figure out who amongst them was the Universe’s Child. However, after endless discussions, observations, investigations, agreements, disagreements, questions, and answers, to continue a formal discussion on every future topic—

The Four Infinities made a consensual decision.

None of them were the Universe’s Chosen.

It was the Fifth Infinity.

It was a much safer choice. After all, a Universe’s Chosen should have some level of change in them, but none of the Four Infinities grew.

Sure, they could have hidden it—but hiding their rise in strength and influence from beings as sensitive as Infinities wasn’t easy.

And since the Four Infinities couldn’t sense any changes in any of them—they directed their attention to the Fifth Infinity.

However, if Light’s theory about the Fifth Infinity and Anomaly being the same entity was indeed correct, then—

Their unanimous decision would be wrong. After all, the Universe wouldn’t possibly choose and empower the Anomaly to get rid of itself.

So once again, the suspicion fell on all of them—and this time, it was much heavier than before.

After all, if the Universe’s Chosen was indeed one of them, then he or she had managed to fool them once—it was something that none of their egos would accept.

Once again, a long heavy silence fell in the Hall until finally—

"Stop it."

Balance spoke up.

"We have been through this before. Such discussions are pointless. What Light said was just a theory, and from the looks of it, one that is highly unlikely at this point.

The Fifth Infinity and Anomaly cannot be the same—not when the Fifth Infinity is the Universe’s Chosen.

We do not have the time to derail the conversation."

"Haa! Spoken like a true Universe’s Chosen."

Darkness laughed, glaring at Balance.

"I always doubted you."

He spoke directly.

"You doubt everyone."

Balance spoke calmly.

He then glanced at the others and—

"Do not forget—the entire reason the Anomaly is known as Anomaly is because he does things that go against the rules and restrictions set by the Universe.

For someone like him, becoming the Sixth Infinity is not impossible."

Balance explained, and his words gained nods of approval. Yes, the Infinities did suspect him of being the Universe’s Child—no, not just him—they suspected every single one of them. But to continue the conversation and get something meaningful out of it, they decided to follow Balance’s words.

Infighting at times like these was foolish, and the Infinities knew that.

"It is quite fun, don’t you think?"

Suddenly, Eternity chuckled, once again attracting everyone’s attention.

"Will you stop it!? Do not force me to end your existence first!"

Darkness glared at him in anger.

He never liked the kid to begin with—but he could swear that he was purposefully being more annoying than usual.

"You are welcome to try."

Eternity chuckled.

"As I said before, I am not the same child as before."

"You—alright then, be prepared, I am com—"

"Calm down."

Balance interrupted. He then turned towards Eternity and—

"Stop with the pointless provocations."

"I am not trying to provoke anyone; I am just stating what I feel."

Eternity answered.

"Think about this—how long has it been since our meetings became this frequent? No—did it ever happen before? Us meeting every few years.

Things are so chaotic, so many beings have so many Grand Plans of their own—and all these Grand Plans are finally coming together, all at the same time.

It’s a storm.

A very big storm is coming.

Something that would change the very history of our Universe—and we get to see everything from such proximity.

Don’t you feel it as well?

Our pointlessly boring lives where we did nothing but command our people are going to change.

Eternity laughed—and suddenly, the Infinities turned silent as they recalled another existence.

Eternity’s mother, the previous Eternity.

The entity who predicted Zylarith’s movements and stopped him before he could overpower all of them alone and take over the Universe.

She was the reason all of them were still alive—and Zylarith was in such a state.

It was said that in her last moments, she said something to her son—the current Eternity—something he hadn’t revealed to anyone.

"...what do you mean?"

Balance questioned in a low, careful voice.

"What? I am just stating what I’m thinking. There is no meaning behind my words."

Eternity chuckled.
