Jamat immediately stopped in his tracks, and he swallowed as the white-haired man leaned down to speak to Diane in a low voice.

"No woman shall ever lay their hand on my person. I have made certain of that, so it is best you give up on whatever you’re planning. I have use for you, and I won’t allow your foolishness to ruin my entertainment. Now, look into my eyes."

The white-haired man grabbed Diane by the chin and turned Diane’s head forcefully to make her look at him, and Diane’s eyes widened when she saw the kaleidoscope of colors swirling within his eyes! Diane’s entire life seemed to flash before her at that moment, and her face changed from a tight, angry look into a mindless, droopy expression that made it look like she was high on drugs!

BOOM!

A loud sound echoed from outside the room as the Bengari guards finally arrived at Diane’s chambers, and they charged through the door with their swords drawn! The guards took in the sight of the white-haired man leaning over their Queen, and they all roared as they charged forward, but the white-haired man didn’t even seem to care about their attack! The man moved away from Diane and walked to the side calmly as one of the guards swung her sword at him, but the sword simply bounced off him with a metallic ’clang’ and sent the guard flying back! The same thing happened to every other woman there, and they were all shocked as they realised that their attacks were useless! The white-haired man looked towards Diane and spoke gently.

"You’re awake now, aren’t you? Your mind is far too simple for you to still be within that Dream. Get rid of these nuisances."

Diane’s body twitched, and the guards all looked toward their Queen as she rose from the floor like a puppet on strings! Diane gripped her sword with her broken arm, but she didn’t even register the pain as she looked at the guards with hateful eyes!

"M-My queen!? What happened to you!? Snap out of it!"

The head guard took a step back when she saw Diane’s expression, and she called out to her in shock! All the other guards there also felt fear fill their hearts when they saw the way Diane was looking at them, and somewhere deep in their hearts, they all seemed to realise that this person was not the Queen that they had once known! Diane was gone, and in her place was someone who might as well be a stranger!

DOON!

Diane’s magic surged through the room in an oppressive wave, and in the next moment, Diane crouched and shot towards her sisters with a roar!

[America, Texas]

The city of Texas was one of the largest farming states in America, and the state with the strangest superhuman culture in the country! Unlike other states that allowed independent individuals to form guilds and raid Gates, Texas had formed what was known as the Superhuman Troopers. The SHT was a group of extremely powerful superhumans between C to S Rank, and their job was to take care of any Gates that appeared within the state! There were no Enforcers allowed in Texas, and the SHT were responsible for both taking care of any superhuman-related issues as well as maintaining law and order within the state. And that was why Texas was one of the states that found it extremely easy to adapt to the new superhuman world after the president’s announcements a month ago!

The changes that took place all across the world following the meeting of the world leaders were drastic and immediate! None of the citizens fully understood what was going on, and there were countries where the citizens pushed back against many of the changes since they knew that what the leaders were doing was going to completely change the economy and military! Many of the citizens thought that by manipulating the gold reserves so much, there would be an immediate drop in their currency value, and some believed that by taking the one hundred strongest superhumans into one guild, there was no way the countries would be able to defend against the Gates like they used to! But surprisingly, things did not go as anyone had anticipated!

Since all the major countries in the world were liquidating their gold at the same time, there wasn’t really that much of a change in the economy, and the sudden movement of the strongest superhumans to the capital of the major countries made it so that most of the Gates in that country appeared in the capital where the superhumans were! Gates were a phenomenon that occurred due to the concentration of mana in the atmosphere, so it was obvious that the Gates would increase in number in the places where the most powerful superhumans lived!

The country that had the most changes out of all was obviously America. On the very first day after the meeting of the world leaders, the American President announced that they would be creating a new ’American Guild’ and he put the head of the Superhumans Management Department and the Chief Commander of the Enforcers in charge of picking out the best superhumans for the guild! Most of the guilds in the country raised complaints since they were going to be missing their strongest members to this new ’American Guild’, but there was nothing anyone could do since the benefits of joining the American Guild were just too great!

Not only were the members getting paid significantly more money, but the promise of becoming closer to the Monarch guild that was led by Jason Marc was just far too great for anyone to refuse! For the past month, Jason had been hard at work making sure that everything in his plan was being done exactly how he wanted it to be! Usually, Jason was not the sort of person to involve himself in political or economic matters, and Juliet would be the first person to testify that Jason hated bothering himself with leading a guild! But Juliet had been shocked when she saw Jason genuinely working to ensure things worked out this time!

Jason took routine visits to various countries around the world and inspected the Monarch guild sites to make sure things went well! With Jason’s ability to travel across great distances without any effort, it was easy for Jason to finish all of his inspections in one day, and he would immediately move on to completing various other duties that had fallen on him as the leader of the new world.

Currently, Gaia was working extra hard to intercept and take care of any interworld traveler that came to Earth! Unlike before, when Gaia would arrest and detain the interworld travelers, Gaia had become far less strict, and they were now hosting the interworld travelers and setting up meetings between them and Jason! Many emissaries from the worlds surrounding Earth had come to Earth to announce that their rulers wanted to come and pay a visit to the Overlord, and Gaia had to inform all those emissaries that Earth was not yet ready to accept visitors! It would take at least two months for Earth to completely set up the Aqualith trades as well as the Monarch Branches around the world, and once they were finished with that, then they would be more than happy to accept visitors!

This had been satisfactory for the emissaries, and they took these messages back to their rulers. At the same time that this was happening, Jason gave Azrael and Vana the mission of setting up a planet-wide rune that could help to prevent unauthorized interworld travel.
