Robert Hill was frustrated. He confirmed with his own eyes that the members were all dead. But he couldn't find the corpse of Gibbs.

He spent a couple more minutes. But he didn't find the corpse. Just as he was about to turn around and leave...

A loud thunderclap occurred all of a sudden. The sky changed. A heavy downpour of rain started.

The raindrops started falling on him. Robert Hill was surprised. It happened so fast it felt unreal.

He heard a small noise coming from behind. He turned around and looked towards the place. The sound was coming from the border.

He is a Tier-8 Beast Tamer, so he was not afraid. He was confident of coming and going as he pleased in the wilderness.

The sound continued to occur. His curiosity rose. Robert Hill decided to investigate.

Maybe he could provide clues to the Governors before the Red Moon Chamber did something to ruin the reputation of the Beast Taming Hill Family.

Swoosh!

He left the place and started going towards the border. He was moving through mid-air. He crossed the large distance in a few minutes before arriving at the border.

The land across the border was the unexplored region. How could he forget the place? Recently, they had fought against the beast tide here.

Robert Hill stood in the mid-air, observing the place. He was sure the sound was coming from here. But the land was empty.

He frowned. He was not naive. His Lifeline Beast felt uncomfortable as well. His gaze fell on the land leading to the unexplored area.

The beast tide was over recently. Nobody knew the reason behind it. The Governors refused to share the details with them.

But the heads of the various forces understood that the threat was far from over.

Robert Hill stood there. He waited for a few minutes, but he saw no change. Then he turned around to leave.

Right then, a small black dot shot from the unexplored region. It aimed at Robert Hill.

Robert Hill's Lifeline Beast alerted him with anger. His face changed drastically.

Swoosh!

He fled from the place. But his speed was nowhere near the black dot. He was frantically moving in the mid-air towards the city.

Puckak!

The black dot came from behind and pierced his back. The next second, his whole body was paralyzed in mid-air.

Robert Hill was stunned. He looked at his chest and saw a massive hole. A black sticky liquid covered his body.

A hint of horror flashed in his eyes. Before he could do something, the black sticky substance destroyed his internal organs.

He fell from the mid-air to the ground. With a heavy thud, his body crashed into the ground. The shock force spread across the place.

The black liquid destroyed the internals, including the heart. Robert Hill died. The black liquid substance was nothing but poison.

The poison not only killed him but killed his Lifeline Beast in the mental zone as well. The dignified head of the Beast Taming Hill Family mysteriously died here.

On the other hand, in the middle of the unexplored region, a towering long black centipede closed its eyes.

It was the Tier-9 Black Centipede, which was gathering a corrupted beast force. The beasts were gathering on the other side of the unexplored region.

The Centipede was disturbed by the arrival of the Tier-8 Beast Tamer. It didn't want the news to reach the human forces yet.

Otherwise, it would be forced to start the beast tide right away. That's why it shot a small poison attack towards the enemy.

The attack didn't miss the target and killed the enemy swiftly. The Tier-9 Black Centipede then began to rest.

If anyone tried to attack again, it would do the same.

The next morning, Jeremy woke up from sleep. He felt better. His internal injuries were all cured.

His internal organs were functioning well. Not only that, his eardrums and physical injuries were all cured as well.

He felt better. Then he got out of bed and started doing his morning routine. The routine lasted for an hour.

Jeremy came to the middle of the room and sat cross-legged on the floor. He closed his eyes and started running the breathing method.

The natural energy entered his body slowly. He guided the natural energy according to the route. The natural energy passed through the passage.

The greedy cells were absorbing the natural energy. Seeing that, he continued to repeat the process. He wanted to grow stronger.

He cannot do certain things without enough strength.

Buzz!

The unknown beast egg started absorbing the natural energy as well. Seeing that, Jeremy relaxed.

He put his focus on practice.

Time passed.

A few hours later, Jeremy ended the practice. He walked out of the room. He immediately went to the bath to take a shower.

He spent 15 minutes in the bath. Then he walked out and changed into fresh clothes.

He then came to the sofa and sat down. He took his device and started going through the online news.

He saw that there wasn't any major news. So, the incident that occurred in the wilderness was not known.

He then thought of Head Harold. His eyes flickered. Head Harold wanted to discuss the threat with the Governors.

He too thought that only Governors could put a stop to the mad actions of the Head of the Beast Taming Hill Family.

He then thought of Sister Melinda and texted her. He wanted to know her condition.

Shortly afterwards,

He got a message from her. Her reply was short. She was doing fine. She was healed completely.

Jeremy sighed in relief. Then he put away the device and started pondering about his next course of action.

He couldn't enter the wilderness without Head Harold's permission. He had decided to go alone next time, not with anyone else as a team.

He had put Sister Melinda's life in danger. He didn't want the incident to happen again.
