 [Third Person’s PoV]
 "I’m going to be able to close these, right? I don’t want to walk around with eight eyes all the time..." MJ asked warily.
 "Just close them and keep them closed. They’re eyes, right? So, they should have eyelids," Peter replied, giving her a funny look.
 MJ blinked with all eight eyes simultaneously, her face twitching as she struggled to control each eyelid individually. The random blinking of her eyes made it clear she was having a hard time.
 "This is a lot harder than I thought," she admitted, shaking her head. "Let’s focus on the powers for now. But are you sure, Aria, that I have eight individual powers and not just four sets? Like, a pair of eyes for each power?"
 "Each eye is emitting a distinct energy signature, different from the others. They all share your Psionic chi, so their abilities might be related to that. Try focusing on one eye at a time and mentally activate its power," Aria explained.
 "Alright..." MJ muttered, focusing on her large right eye.
 Suddenly, her back arched as four large pink spider legs made of energy shot out. Each leg was thick and sharp, lifting her off the ground. The razor-sharp edges at the ends looked deadly.
 The legs moved, stabilizing her. "Oh wow! This is awesome!" MJ exclaimed excitedly.
 She controlled the legs to lower her back to the ground, curling them around her body. Two pointed ends stuck out from her waist, and the other two from over her shoulders. She made them stab and slash the air, the legs moving in a blur. Then, she curled them like hands, picking up imaginary objects. "I’m in love with these already!"
 MJ retracted the legs, watching as they sank back into her skin. As they disappeared, her back gained a pink spider-leg-shaped tattoo that turned black and faded away.
 Excited, MJ focused on her left eye. Instantly, an identical image of herself appeared, complete with the large spider legs.

 </div> "You can create duplicates of yourself?" Gwen asked, puzzled.
 Felicia waved her paw through the illusion, and it vanished.
 "An illusion," they all said simultaneously, recognizing the second ability.
 MJ grinned, activating the second eye power again. A little boy appeared before them, giving a cheeky two-finger salute. "Yo," he greeted.
 "Is that..." Peter asked, amused.
 "Aww!" Gwen exclaimed. "It’s little Pete! He looks just like when we first met! Even wearing the same clothes!"
 "That’s one way to use your abilities," Harry said, laughing.
 The illusion dissipated, and MJ eagerly began experimenting with the abilities of the other eyes on the left side of her face.
 "Nothing’s happening?" MJ said, confused.
 "Maybe you have to look at someone for it to work," Reed suggested.
 "I’ll be your test subject," Peter offered, raising his hand as he stepped forward.
𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮 MJ nodded, appreciative of Peter’s willingness. She activated her ability, focusing on him, but nothing seemed to happen at first.
 "Peter?" MJ called out. When he didn’t respond, she quickly used her spider communication powers to speak telepathically.
 ’I can’t move. You’ve paralyzed me... If I had to guess, it’s Synaptic Disruption. You can disrupt neural signals, causing temporary paralysis, loss of coordination, or even unconsciousness if you push it.’
 MJ deactivated her power, and Peter shook his head, regaining control of his body. He recounted what he had just experienced, explaining it to everyone.
 MJ then activated her next eye. Peter winced slightly. "Pain inducement. It felt like my nerves were on fire! You need to be careful with that one," he warned.
 "Sorry," MJ said, looking hesitant about continuing.
 Peter waved her off, encouraging her. "I can handle it. If one of these powers takes my arm off, I can regrow it."
 "Could you really?" Johnny asked, intrigued.
 "Yeah, want to see?" Peter raised his arm slightly.
 "Absolutely—" Johnny stopped, noting everyone’s disapproving looks. He coughed into his fist and crossed his arms. "No, not really. Maybe some other time."
 Peter smirked unapologetically and focused back on MJ. With some reassurance, MJ activated her last eye on the left side. Everything went black for Peter.
 ...
 Peter stood in darkness, looking around in confusion. His breathing hitched as he watched MJ, Gwen, Felicia, Harry, Uncle Ben, and Aunt May slowly turn to dust before his eyes.
 From their ashes emerged a towering figure, larger than life, with purple skin and a gauntlet adorned with six glowing gems. The figure stared down at Peter coldly and spoke in a chilling tone, "All that preparation, all that knowledge, all those memories, and yet they weren’t enough to stop the inevitable... to stop me."
 Peter’s chest heaved as Thanos raised his gauntlet and snapped his fingers. Peter turned to ash and woke with a sudden gasp.

 Peter clutched his chest, breathing heavily, sweat dripping as his eyes shook slightly.
 "Peter!" MJ exclaimed as everyone looked at him, worried.
 "Fear inducement..." Peter said slowly, still catching his breath. He took a few deep breaths and shook his head. "I’m fine. Let’s continue."
 "Are you sure you’re alright?" MJ asked, clearly sensing his distress.
 Susan hesitated but asked, "What did you see?"
 Everyone leaned in, curious about what could have shaken Peter so much.
 Peter closed his eyes, forced himself to calm down, and answered in a calm, almost emotionless tone, "Everyone dying in front of me, and being too weak to stop it."
 Silence filled the room as they stared at Peter, unsure of what to say in response to his haunting vision.
 "So now that you’ve all made the tension in the air as thick as possible, can we continue testing the rest of your powers? We’ve got three more to go," Peter said with a slight sigh, ruffling his hair with one hand while resting the other on his waist.
 Feeling awkward and guilty, MJ reluctantly agreed after being reassured multiple times. She activated her next eye on the right side.
 As she activated the ability, nothing happened once again. MJ glanced around, noting that everything appeared to be normal.
 "Well?" Peter called out, raising an eyebrow. "I’m waiting."
 "I already activated it. Nothing happened," MJ replied, looking confused.
 "Maybe that’s the power," Felicia suggested. "You can understand the language of anyone talking to you, like that eye has a built-in translator or something." MJ heard her clearly, but to the others, it sounded like a few meows.
 "Ah, good point," MJ nodded. Seeing the others’ confusion, she translated what Felicia had said.
 "Maybe you use your psionic abilities to read the intentions behind people’s—or any living thing’s—words," Peter explained. "We need to study that more to fully understand how it works. Let’s just continue testing out the other abilities for now."
 MJ agreed and moved on to her second-to-last eye.
 Almost immediately, Peter furrowed his brows and held his forehead. "Mental Erosion," he noted. "I feel you eating away at my mental shield."
 "Mental shield?" Susan asked, intrigued.
 "It’s a technique I developed to protect my mind from psychic intrusions," Peter explained. "It’s more complicated than that, but that’s the gist."
 Peter looked at MJ with a hint of amusement. "It felt like tiny spiders were nibbling at my mental shield."
 "Seriously?" MJ scoffed. "Talk about sticking with the theme."
 Finally, MJ activated her last eye.
 Suddenly, she was enveloped in a pink aura, her entire body radiating it as her last eye sparkled slightly. Instinctively, she knew what her final power was. "Psionic Construct," she whispered, her red hair flowing around her head.
 "Psionic Constructs?" Lizzy repeated, bemused.

 </div> "Yeah, I can use my psionic energy to create solid constructs—or at least that’s how it feels..." MJ said, curious about her new power.
 She held her hands in front of her and crafted a beautiful pink lotus flower in her palm.
 "How beautiful..." Susan remarked, admiring the glowing construct.
 Harry looked amused. "Are we becoming the Justice League or something? Because it sounds like Green Lantern just joined our ranks."
 "Oh, shut it, Harry," MJ said, rolling her eyes. "No need to be jealous of my powers."
 MJ suddenly spread her arms, and two rings of spinning swords surrounded her. "Hell yeah!"
 "Okay, that’s sick..." Johnny said, watching the spinning swords.
 MJ waved her hand, sending the swords flying at the wall, which shattered like glass and dissipated into the air.
 Felicia let out a teasing "Meow," her expression playful.
 MJ blushed slightly and glared at Felicia. "Shut up. You’re still stuck as a cat. I don’t want to hear anything from you."
