Chapter 829: 829: Sneaking Midnight Snacks

Because of this, Shan Du decided to meet this savior and checked on Prince Yue Zhiya tomorrow when he accompanied his own highness to the courtyard next door. Just as he was about to inform his little highness about this, he saw him and his little guard sneaking into the kitchen where the thing called refrigerator was located and pulled two lunchboxes from within. It looks similar to the ones that held the dinner they ate during dinner. However, he is sure that these aren’t included among the ones that were shared to them.

It seems that his highness had hidden these two lunchboxes and most likely had different types of food inside seeing that they had pulled it out of the refrigerator.

Lei Liye whispered in a very low voice, "A’Li, be careful. Don’t make a sound. If we get caught we have to share it with everyone and that means less for us to eat."

"Leave it to me, your highness! I’ve already used a talisman to erase the sound of our footsteps. Shall we eat it here or in your room?" Whispered Huan Li back to his little master.

Lei Liye said, "Eating it in the room is not a bad idea. But what will we do if we need the refrigerator afterwards. Since Aunt Xue said to not forget to place it, the fridge means it’s a dessert that can melt. I think it’s better to eat it here. Place it on the table."

"Alright, your highness!" Huan Li said as he did as he was told and gently placed the lunchboxes on the table.

The two of them finally opened the box and saw two dozens of mini square cups in it. Inside each square cup are ice cream cakes of different flavors. There are all kinds of mini ice cream cakes making the two children drool at sight. Actually, even Shan Du who is watching at the corner can barely handle it and started gulping from the scent and the lingering spiritual qi this food is emitting.

They can only watch as this adult ate one cake biting the small matcha ice cream cakes with only two bites. The cakes were made bite size for the adults but it’s perfect for the children who love to taste every single flavor.

"Hm~ not bad. Give me one more!" Shan Du said as he took another cake which is mango flavored this time.

Seeing this, the two children no longer held back and started eating like their lives were meant for it. They ate without chewing, much afraid that this bad adult would steal more of their midnight snacks. In the end, the other children had awakened by the noise they made and the ice cream cakes were shared among them. Seeing this, Lei Liye who was only able to eat three pieces within the two dozen started crying and everyone almost didn’t know what to do to make their little highness stop crying.

In the end, Shan Du can only thicken his face and knock next door. He was holding the little highness in his arms with Huan Li who was hugging his little master trying to stop them from crying.
