Shattering Humanity
Chapter 241: The Mindset Of Mortal & Immortal Beings
"And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: ’Death is swallowed up in victory.’..." -Corinthians 15:49-54

{Japan, 6 AM}
There are two dark silhouettes, one sitting, one standing underneath a silhouette of a tree. They are both watching the sunrise on the other side of the planet from where Takamagahara, Sanpaku, and the Sister Mountains are.
Man’s Voice: "You know..now that you mention it, our world does feel like a planetary echo chamber that was purposely designed, not by an immortal God, but by a mortal being craving intelligence like myself and the others."
Woman’s Voice: "I knew you would be quick to understand."
Man’s Voice: "You know, I previously determined, only mortal beings have the desire to pass on knowledge before their inevitable end.
If an organic being can’t die or procreate life, helping others, and passing down information, renders pointless to that beings happiness.
As a matter of fact, an immortal being, sharing information with mortals is nearly impossible because of the intellectual gap.’
It’s said that even if animals could speak and communicate with humans, trying to comprehend the life of a wild beast, would require a completely different way of thinking, mutually agreed upon between humans and all the other animals.
Most of mortal consciousnesses desire to create, assist the continuation of life, and find individual happiness."
Female Voice: "That does kinda make sense, I mean, if you take a fictional example like vampires into consideration..."
Male Voice: "I didn’t, but now that I know magic exists, I will."
Female Voice: "...most mythical nightwalkers and bloodsuckers are usually reluctant to make others one of them, even when asked.
The usual excuse is, the human asking to transition into a vampire doesn’t know what they’re getting themselves into, but another reasonable explanation would be because the individual who is already a bloodsucker, knows creating another vampire, just creates more suspicion around their local society.
It’s also just another hungry mouth that takes away from their supply.
It’s pretty funny thinking about it now, since you mentioned it. A vampire refusing to turn mortals willing to become the living dead, is the perfect opposite midset as mortal humans wanting to create an unwilling life."
A few yards away, a small bird pecks at the ground a couple times. Eventually the tiny birdy picks out a worm and begins to fly away.
Man’s Voice: "When the meteor killed the dinosaurs and hit this celestial body, it created somewhat of a controlled environment.
Without the natural surroundings that had the true struggles of nature effecting our evolution, we could possibly be the equivalent of an ant farm inside an extraterrestrial elementary school."
Woman’s Voice: "How very cynical..."
Man’s Voice: "I’ve tried to present it in a less pessimistic way by using dedicated creationism.
In the way loving parents try to make their child’s life(lives) slightly easier, our creators used that gigantic meteor to change the climate of the planet and eradicated the main road block to their children’s evolution.
They didn’t completely kill all of our original predators.
And because they didn’t, we eventually evolved to use tools and weapons to fight off ’monsters’, and those everyday battles with those ’monsters’ imbedded in our evolving DNA, the desire to continue living and fighting everyday. No matter what "monsters" try to take you out of the fight."
In the dark shadows of the surrounding landscape, there is a coyote trotting through the world all alone, scavenging scraps.
Woman’s Voice: "I never really thought about it, but all the animals and plants didn’t have any identified terms until humans started recording them and passing down the information.
In the same way we view the Icemen as monsters, the earliest humans must’ve categorized all the most terrifying animals with fangs and claws as ’Monsters’."
Even in the early morning sky, shooting stars can be barely visible to the naked eye above the rising sun.
Man’s Voice: "The backbone of creationism involves the obvious dedication and passion towards our existence as a whole.
It’s the fact our creators put time and effort into us, is what brings peace at mind to those believers."
The silhouette of the man lays on his back with his hands behind his head, a shooting star flies over them.
Woman’s Voice: "And once again, you prove MY theory correct, that all of you pretentious ’philosophers’ are only making yourselves more depressed and are pondering yourselves to the point you’ll become sadistic.
While the dumbest don’t have a single philosophical cell in their body and enjoy what they have now.
Instead of worrying about what they can do to avoid losing that enjoyment in the future, theg cherishes it while they have it.
That’s why, no matter how many legitimate college degrees you have, or what rank your peers see you as, you’ll never be ’more intelligent’ than someone who enjoys the moment they live in now."
Man’s Voice: "It helps to have unimaginable strength to defend themselves or whatever they cherishes at the moment.
But it isn’t as easy for those of us who can’t muscle our way to happiness.
That book taught me not only how to survive in this world as one of the meek, but how to work with others to survive, together in this world.
Being able to connect it’s messages with an open philosophical mindset, exposed the proof of our creation.
In our night and day cycles, the changing seasons, the movement of the wind and tides, the growth of plants and the rest of the observable nuisances, left behind by an intelligent being with a clear purpose to creating us.
By creating more intelligent life, the original hoped for us to admire what it had once admired.
That book helped me connect the most subliminal of messages in this world, that only philosophy could unravel properly.
Our ’baby proofed’ environment, ensured by our creators, molded our pre-evolved ancestors specifically in a way to seek ’desire’ differently from just survival and reproducing life like all mortal beings of this universe."
The young man looks at the visible moon left in the sky in the early morning.
Man’s Voice: "The desire to leave those dark waters becames the desire to observe the bright world and everything it holds."
The pondering man chuckles as more and more shooting stars begin to appear and fall out of the night sky.
Man’s Voice: "In the end, most people don’t enjoy having their entire existence explained as a ’science experiment’, nevermind by a person they already hold any animosity towards.
Even if they were exposed to this type of truth like I was, most humans would still choose between creationism and evolution.
There will be religion, giving some the peace of mind that our planned creation and an afterlife go hand in hand.
While evolutionists get the peace of mind believing our desire to procreate is as natural as the rest of the living beings and that is our only reason of our being.
But like I said earlier, if Seiõr doesn’t accept me, what’s left for someone like me? I can’t fight, I can’t trust passed down knowledge, so what’s stopping me from staying right here until I die?"

{Mount Decima Military Residential District}
The tough woman goes to ash her high class cigarette, but as she does...
Ichythis: "What the Hell?
Where’d she go?!"

{Mount Morta Government District}
The doors open and Nephilim puts the glowing pink orb in his inner jacket pocket.
Nephilim: *sighs* "Thank you, Queen MamMon...oop..."
While giving his thanks to the confidence enforcing DæMon, and entering the lift, he turns around but...
Nephilim: "...Uhh...Where’d she go?"

Within Mammon’s Forest, it is dark and there is no light source at all except for the moonlight shining through the very center of the shrubbery above.
At the middle of the woods, two Money Tree cloaked figures meet up and from their raised hoods the same voice is projected into the darkness.
MamMon DæMon: "So you told them?"
’Other’ MamMon DæMon: "Of course, and you?"
MamMon DæMon: "Of course."
